Foundations -Max Factor - Colour Adapt
GothicGal 1/21/2010 11:20:00 PM
My all time favourite! Applied smooth and perfect, leaving the ultimate soft texture. The foundation itself has a lovely airy mousse texture about it, but not like that heavy mousse crap maybelline sells. This foundation actually applies and adapts to your skins colour like a gem. Colour adapt is not greasy or dry either. Just pure perfection! Sadly they discontinued this foundation end of last year in Australia - I am still trying to get over it. :-(

Liquid -Cover Girl - TruBlend
GothicGal 1/21/2010 11:15:00 PM
I like this, I like this a lot! First it applied great, smooth and fantastic coverage. Second, it had a wonderful light shade for my very light skin - something I find very hard to purchase in other brands. Third, it lasted extremely well. I did apply a mineral powder over the top to set (I imagine if I hadn't it would have been a bit greasy). However after that, I didn't need to touch up at all for the rest of the day. YAY! I am very impressed by Cover Girl on this foundation. I expected very little but actually got a lot! Will be buying again!

Polishes -Zoya - Shimmer
GothicGal 1/21/2010 11:04:00 PM
Shimmer is a sheer light pink. It is great for applying over other colours, but on it's own is lacking. I put multiple coats of this on hoping to create a magnificant shimmery pink masterpiece but it ended up looking quite boring. However over a french manicure I imagine it would look amazing! Applied on very smooth and nice, and lasted well. All in all however, not my favourite Zoya colour

Eye Shadow -Bloom - Eye Shadow in Lavender
GothicGal 1/21/2010 10:56:00 PM
This is a strong medium lavender shadow. It applies well and does not wear well. The colour is a bit dull & a bit dirty, & doesn't make a statement. The contents also crumbled for me, so packaging was a dissapointment.

Lipstick -Bloom - Lip Crayon (all shades
GothicGal 1/21/2010 10:49:00 PM
I think I simply bought the wrong colour with this. It was a very unflattering wine colour. So I won't judge this product on the colour. The crayon style of this lip colour applied very well and was moist and not drying. A pleasant experience but all in all considering the price I think this product is just a novelty, and not something I would willingly go and purchase again.

Lip Treatments -Bloom - Lip Plump
GothicGal 1/21/2010 10:44:00 PM
This is a really nice lip gloss. The colour combined with the glossiness really does leave your lips looking absolutely scrumptious! I wore this at my wedding because it was such a gorgeous nude gloss. It applies well and it has a nice smell to it also. The only disappointment is that it doesn't 'plump' the lips per se. However because it is so nice in every other way, I was prepared to overlook this rather large error in the product.

Eye Shadow -Bloom - Eye Colour Cream
GothicGal 1/21/2010 10:38:00 PM
Awful, just plain awful. And I bought 3 of these in different colours, all as disappointing as the next. The colour cream just does not apply well or stay on either, It leaves creases instantly on the eye and makes you look like some makeup hack. I was amazed actually how terrible it stayed on. Instantly after I had applied it, blinked once and it was all creased and gross. Terrible Bloom, just terrible......

Eye Shadow -Bloom - Bone Eyeshadow
GothicGal 1/21/2010 10:34:00 PM
Bone is a shimmery nude-gold. It reminds me of drinking champagne at cocktail hour. It is a pleasant colour however it really did not suit my complexion. I can see it looking fantastic on someone though, somewhere out there in the world. Once again with Bloom shadows it goes on very smooth and great but does not last the test of time.

Eye Shadow -Bloom - Peony Eyeshadow
GothicGal 1/21/2010 10:30:00 PM
Peony is a medium shimmery feminine pink that applies well. It is not long lasting when applied and leads to a dull pinkish colour by the end of the day. However the colour is quite pleasant as a day colour, but not something spectacular for making a statement.

Eyes -Bloom - Bloom Eyeshadow- Eskimo
GothicGal 1/21/2010 10:26:00 PM
Eskimo is a nice shimmery white shadow that really does open the eyes up. However if you are looking for a shadow that looks like your eyelids have been bathed in white diamond shimmery magic - don't buy this shadow. It is not a dramatic shadow, and is better suited for application on the brow to open the eyes. It applies well, however does not stay put for very long. This would be the main failing of Bloom shadows, but if you're prepared to continually touch up throughout the day you'll be pleasantly surprised by this shadow.

Eye Shadow -Bloom - Moss eyeshadow
GothicGal 1/21/2010 10:20:00 PM
Moss is definitely a bold emerald green, however I wouldn't say it's vibrant in the sense that there is life behind it. Yes it's green, yes it's noticeable, but it doesn't have the pizzazz that you would expect from a moss green colour. It applies well but does not endure the test of time as it lasts but it lasts as a duller colour of green. Out of the Bloom eyeshadow range, it is one of the better shadows colourwise. However this really isn't saying much, and I wouldn't buy it again.

Polishes -Zoya - Raven
GothicGal 1/21/2010 9:49:00 PM
Yep the gothic girl is going to review her beloved colour - BLACK! Raven is a high quality, classy black polish. It is a strong, rich and glossy black that screams SEXY GOTH! Another classic polish by Zoya. The colour is very elegant and bold, similar to Chanel but for a fraction of the price. 2 coats creates a pure black and lasts over a week without signs of wear. Raven, I very much luv thee xox

Polishes -Zoya - Trixie
GothicGal 1/21/2010 9:35:00 PM
It was love at first sight with Trixie! The colour is a stunning metallic silver, like wearing liquid terminator on your fingers. And the silver colour simply glows, it's simply an amazing polish! It goes on very smoothly and 2 coats creates a flawless silver effect. I wore this for an impressive week before any sign of wear and the slightest of chipping occurred. Trixie is the new black - it is classy, stylish, fun and just draws attention. One of my favourite Zoya colours!
