I got this for free through the B2M program. I'm a lip gloss girl, so I was surprised at how moisturizing this lipstick was. On me it's a dewy light pink, very close to my natural lip color but it still adds a bit of polish. It smells and feels great on my lips, but it doesn't last very long. But overall, I was pleasantly surprised.
I love this blue! It goes great with brown eyes. I personally don't like overly bold eye color because it tends to look a bit tacky and clownish unless you really know what you're doing. I usually wear it with Carbon and you can intensify the color a bit by using more product, but generally speaking this isn't a very loud color. It's wearable to work and you can smoke it up for afterhours. Overall, very pleased!
I don't own any gray e/s's or the perverted pearl quad, so the Tease Me set was worth it for me. Garcon Gray and Bistro are very standard colors, which I needed to tame down my e/s collection (too many bright and bold colors, needed something I could wear to work). My only complaint is that the texture of the grays is a bit hard to blend. Seedy Pearl is pretty versatile and I could see myself wearing it with other pinky-burgundy colors, and I was planning on buying it eventually anyways. Parisienne is alright, I don't feel strongly towards it in anyway because I already have two light purplish shades from my Cool Eye Printout set (Crystal and Li'Lilly). I almost thought about returning Tease Me b/c of the similar purple shade, but later realized that Parisienne is a bit darker and frostier than Li'Lilly. Overall, not much to rave about, but I'm pretty happy with this purchase.
I don't know why everyone loves this product so much. When I first opened it, the tube farted and a huge amount came out. I applied some to my eyes, and it dried before I smoothed it over my entire eyelid. If I could've done things differently, I probably would've purchased this item in a darker color because Bare Canvas somewhat weakened the intensity of my darker shadows. But overall, all the times I tried using this product (I gave it a few chances), I felt like it was working against me, and I really don't have the time to fight with my makeup each morning when I'm in a hurry.
This stuff works great as a base. I personally woudln't use it as a eyeshadow because it's somewhat greasy and doesn't look like it has much staying power. However, as a base, it works fantastic! I've used it for the past three days and each day after work there has been minimal if any creasing in my eyelids. It holds and makes eyeshadow last throughout the day. It's a bit pricey though, and the container is a bit hard to open, but overall it's a great product.
I was not too impressed by this eyeshadow. It blended like a dream, but the color wasn't all that great. It looked a bit dark in the pot and when I put it on it just looked dirty and smudge-y looking. Probably just not my color; in any case I returned it shortly after buying it.
I purchased this for dirt cheap off of eBay, and I'm really satisfied with it. It gives your brows a very natural defined but not harsh look and is easy to use. My only complaint is that the mini-tweezers are difficult to use. I would recommend this item to everyone looking to tame their brows, especially those "suprised" looking girls with the McDonald's arches drawn-on eyebrows. Grow them in and use Benefit brow zings! :)
