I tried this product after I'd had my hair highlighted and the salon owner recommended it as the strongest shampoo for toning highlights - I'd run out of my usual violet shampoo and this one had been recommended to me before so I thought I'd give it a go. Here in New Zealand it costs NZ$32.50 for a 250ml bottle, so it's quite expensive. And for the price, isn't the best out there - it's excellent as a toner, but the cleansing qualities leave something to be desired; when I used it a few times in a row (my hair requires a lot of toning to stop the brassies!), my hair was so greasy and had so much build-up in it, it looked like I'd poured oil on it. Epic fail. So now (I'm still working my way through the bottle) I just use it as a toner after shampooing - I use a regular shampoo, then use this one, then condition, and it's awesome. I usually use Joico Color Endure Violet or Schwarzkopf Bonacure Silver Reflex, which are cheaper and, IMO, way better products - Schwarzkopf is my HG and I'm definitely going back to it when I run out of this. But in saying that, now that I know how to use this one in a way that's good for me, I would consider buying it again - its toning power is awesome.

Polishes -OPI - Baby It's "Coal" Outside

LOVE LOVE LOVE this colour - dark charcoal with silver sparkles. In terms of application, I found it a bit difficult to apply as it's quite chunky with glitter, but it does only requires two coats to look gorgeous. And it definitely requires a top coat to make it shiny, as when it dries alone it's quite matte. But that aside, I love this polish so much, I wish it wasn't LE, otherwise I'd buy it again and again.

Gels/Soaps -St. Ives - Whipped Silk Ultra Moisturizing Body Wash

This product, overall, is great - a small amount produces a huge lather, it makes my skin super soft, it works great with a razor and it's super cheap. HOWEVER, I can't stand the smell - so strong and cloying, I guess it would be described as a rose type fragrance, very old fashioned. Because I'm a broke student I worked my way through the bottle, but I won't be buying it again - there are too many other body washes that make my skin soft and still smell good. In saying that though, if you liked the fragrance it would possibly be a perfect body wash - hence the four lippies. The smell is the only thing that makes me a take a lippie off, but unfortunately it's also the thing that would make me never buy it again.
