I bought this because of good reviews on here, and with a coupon I got it for pretty cheap. I was a little intimidated at first, it's a really big brush for eyes and I have a smaller eyelid space - but it works like a dream. It's good for packing color on my lid and blending it slightly into my crease, but it's too big for me to do much else with it. Most women probably have a larger space to work with than I do, so I still recommend it. A silly other note: I love the handle too, it's fun to hold.

I really do love UD's eyeliners. They're creamy and super pigmented, bright and wonderful. They do smudge a little bit throughout the day, even with primer, but touchups can fix that. I'm a huge fan of all the colors - I can't pick favorites with this one! Only problem is that this was ridiculously expensive. Because of that, I could never justify buying it again.

Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Aquaphor Healing Ointment

After I ran out of my regular lotion, I went out and bought this because of MUA peer pressure. The reviews for this on here are crazy, and for good reason, it does the job. It makes my skin feel great, but I can't help but feel as though there's something better out there. It feels too greasy and heavy on the skin and I can only apply when I know my hands will be free for a while.

I have a set of professional Sephora brushes and MAC brushes but I just have to say that Ecotools brushes are the best value for the money. I absolutely love all of the brushes in this set. They're soft, durable after regular washings, and eco-friendly. Considering the low price and high quality of these brushes, you'd be silly not to try them out!

I got this with my first Bare Minerals kit forever ago, and I still use it. It's not remarkable though. It doesn't break me out but I haven't seen any noticeable improvement in my skin, either. I wasn't under the impression that it was any sort of primer - I thought it was a moisturizer, and that's how I've been using it. I mean, I'll use it until it's gone, no point in throwing it away, but at the same time, it's not worth buying. I wouldn't recommend this.

Makeup Brushes -Bare Escentuals - Flawless Application Face Brush

Ugh, when I first started with makeup and bought a Bare Escentuals kit, I didn't even THINK that this might have been a bad brush - I just figured all brushes were like this. Since then I have learned the error of my ways. This thing is SO scratchy and while it's normal for brushes to lose their bristles when you wash them, they SHOULDN'T fall out all over your face and clothes WHILE YOU'RE USING THEM. Terrible, terrible brush, don't ever buy it, ever. I think any random face brush you buy at a drugstore will work better than this, it's that bad. Not worth your money.

Loose Powders -Bare Escentuals - Mineral Veil

I kinda like the feel of this on the skin, it is soft and somehow cooling, but it's really not necessary or helpful. I use other translucent powders and they have a lot more staying power and are better at, say, mattifying the skin. This is just an unremarkable product, IMHO.

Misc Beauty Tools -Shu Uemura - Eyelash Curler

This is the only eyelash curler I have ever used. It does the job and doesn't pinch. I get a curl on my lashes that lasts for hours. I love it. It is worth the money and I don't know if I'll ever get another eyelash curler.

Blush -E.L.F. - Studio Blush in Candid Coral

I heard that this was a dupe for NARS Orgasm so I felt tempted to check it out and see what it looked like. I haven't tried Orgasm so I can't compare the two, but this is a GORGEOUS color. All of my favorite blushes are E.L.F. blushes, but this one might have beaten them all. Soft peachy color, no orange. It's just really good. There are a lot of people here complaining about this blush and saying how sheer it is, and their complaints are valid. I didn't rate it down for this. Yes, you have to keep building and building and building the color, but it's soooo much better than the alternative of taking one little swipe and ruining your face and looking overdone. If you're looking for a blush for instant color, this won't satisfy you, it takes some time to build up the color. I recommend this if you don't mind setting it with translucent powder to help it last longer. It's cheap, but not long-lasting. I usually touch up often, but I will still rate it down for that.

Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Hypershine Gloss - ALL

I have two of those, one in Fairy and one in Berry Cherry. Even though I can't argue the price, I do not like these lip glosses. I like the applicator, it helps me get as much as I want and the brush like applicator helps apply it well, but they are super sticky and taste bad, like cotton candy that tastes off. I don't like how it feels on my lips, it is unpleasant. They're kinda stinky too - I can smell it after I put it on. Weird. If you need lip gloss for cheap, go ahead, knock yourself out. If you want a good lip gloss, look somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend this.

Polishes -Essie - Turquoise & Caicos (Resort 2010)

I really like this color. I've just started using nail polishes so I don't know too much about them, but this a really flattering bright color. It's a bold but not too bold turquoise, very flattering for light skintones. Sometimes the application doesn't work perfectly, so I gave it a four instead of a five. If you can still find this color I would recommend that you try it.

Polishes -Essie - Lady Like

I absolutely love this color! I've just started getting into nail polish so I don't know too much about it, but this color is a winner. Two coats and I was set. It's a light dusty mauve. It's a nice and noticeable pastel, but it isn't harsh. If you have light skin, it'll look great and sophisticated. If you can still find this color, I would recommend you try it.

Lipstick -Revlon - Matte Lipstick - Nude Attitude

I bought Two Revlon lipsticks: this one, and Really Red. It went on smooth but it collected like mad in the lines of my lips. It made me look dead, to be honest. Not a flattering color - but don't get me wrong, I didn't rate it down because of the color. Colors look different for everyone. That would be just silly. I didn't like the taste or texture, either, so I returned it today. Wouldn't recommend.
