Cleansers -Estee Lauder - Sparkling Clean Oil-Control Foaming Gel Cleanser
ktu64 8/18/2008 12:53:00 PM
This is good enough to take off most eye makeup, and it has a nice smell. The stuff lasts a long time, and cleans out my oily/combo skin well. It also doesn't leave a tight feeling around skin like some cleansers. I'll definitely buy this again sometime.
This scrub has a nice smell to it, it isn't too rough on skin, and it leaves it nice and soft too. My only complaint is that its turning yellow-green, I think thats because I've had it over a year now. It comes in a standard tube, and the little beads aren't obnoxious and skin-irritating. My favourite face scrub in a tube right now : )
I love la senza. I pretty much only wear their bras, they fit me great! And its not too expensive, especially when they have their 8.50 sales on! They just started selling victoria's secret beauty stuff here, which is great since VS isn't in Canada :( Btw, I recommend the ultra soft line. Oh, they have great slippers and pjs too, and for some reason they're suede booties were all the rage at my school. Hmmm. They are comfy though.
Ok, I'm going to say last years flip flops maybe didn't last as long, but they were just as cheap and replaceable. This years style hurts a lot more! I prefer last years definitely, because the thong hurts the side of my feet and the footbed isn't as comfy. But last years were perfect, they fit great, they felt great, and they put up with beaches, rocks, I could even run in them!
I bought a pair of jeans from the bitten line after I was in the states, and after reading about them in the newspaper. I'm going to say that I love these jeans, they're so simple yet they're fairly good quality (owned them for almost a year, no rips or opened seams) and the denim itself isn't really thick, but they make good summer bonfire jeans. Plus they were 9 dollars and they fit great : D
Clothes -Unlisted Brand - Hollister - Cali Flare Jeans

Wow. I bought a pair of these and I had no time to try them on (mistake) and they are really tight around my calves! Jeepers! I thought flare would be better (I can't wear skinny jeans), but not the ones from hollister. But then again, they're only like that after washing. When you wear them around for a while, they look really great. And I only paid 9.90 for these! The only other cheaper jeans I've gotten are these ones for 8 dollars. So yeah, like the reviewer below me, I'm in a love-hate relationship with these. EDIT: after wearing them a lot (with a belt), they've been "broken in", if you get my drift, and much more comfortable. I still usually have to wear a belt with them, but they're nice and they're not tight around my butt anymore. Just don't put them in the washer very often and it's all good ;)
Yay! this is so cheap! Bronze is a kind of metallic gold-brown, what you'd expect. It likes to break when I'm sharpening though... Oh well... It goes on so smooth and stays so long I don't care. It also looks so great, at a great price too! Yay for smoothliners!
This is an ok eyeliner I guess, not one I'd be buying again, smoothliners are much better. I got it on sale for 3 dollars, which is good. This colour is actually pretty wearable, I just wish it had more colour to it! Not one that I'll rebuy, since it doesn't stay on for a long time either. Its just the quality you can expect from a drugstore kohl liner.
Eye Shadow -Clinique - Color Surge Eyeshadow Quad in Plum Seduction

Wearable colours, not outrageously low or high price, average packaging, wearable colours. I got it in a GWP. These colours, when used right, can really make my eyes pop! But I've seen the same quality shadow at a drugstore. I'll skip buying this one again.
This liner in cafe is just like The elizabeth arden powder liner, except it stays a tad longer (because the other pencil is well, powder). Just an average pencil, an average brown coffee colour, nothing super special. I think I could go for an even cheaper liner next time like rimmel though. They pretty much have the same quality, this looks natural in a thin enough line on me as well. One of those products that I'll just keep using until I run out.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Trio - Amazon Greens [DISCONTINUED]

This stuff is great! The colours are so pretty, on skin and they look great in the palette. using it wet... Wow, it looks so good. I didn't find it creasing all that much. The slide out mirror is cool. The applicator is small, but it works. The packaging is also quite sturdy for such a cheap product. I found these greens quite wearable compared to some other green e/s I've tried. The olive colour is also really nice! Its kind of golden/shimmery, the light green is almost matte and the darker green is pretty gorgeous. I love this stuff! I just want to try other colours though, the product is good but I think I could find an even better match for my skin.
I think I got this for... 6-7 dollars? I think this works somewhat for me, it lengthens, somewhat thickens and somewhat curls my extremely stubborn lashes. Its also a very blackening colour. I also got a free eyeshadow trio with this, so it was pretty much a BOGO. Its easy enough to apply, and its a good mascara, just not the super good that I'm looking for : ( EDIT: flakes like a motherrr. white coat always either dries too fast or not fast enough. i hate applying this, its a waste of time. go spend your money on a good makeup remover to get this crap off, asap.
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expert Wear Eye Trio in Chocolate Mousse

This doesn't show up that well on me... I wish it did. This stuff wet works better than the old formula of expert eyes, but dry, I definitely prefer the old stuff over this, since it doesn't seem to have enough pigmentation. However, these colours are very wearable, since they are not super warm browns. I think anyone could wear this trio. The packaging is just normal packaging, I got this free with XXL curl power mascara.
Wow. They reformulated this, huh. Well then, I think mine has been sitting around for a long long time, since its in black packaging. Eyeshadow monos just last way too long! But no matter what, I always keep this around because mine (kola nut) is just such a great colour for me, perfectly pigmented and shimmered. Too bad, I don't think its around anymore... It was so cheap too.
I agree with the reviewer below me. With rimmel lipstick you can just lipstick, blot, lipbalm, go. And plus it lasts ok, and the texture is smooth, creamy, pretty much fantastic. Balistic is the perfect red that isn't popsicle-bright. It smells ok, there's not much in the standard cylinder tube but thats okay, it was only 4 dollars! Overall, a gorgeous colour for a classic red lipstick. Yum. If only I could pull off reds....
