Eos Honeysuckle lip balm (0.25 oz. and $2.49 to $3.49 usd) is a natural and organic lip balm stores in a cute egg shape package. Which might be difficult to put in a pocket. Honeysuckle comes in a light green package and product color is a pale beige yellow color. It smells very delicious and fresh just like a real honeydew melon. In term on moisturizing, Honeysuckle does not delivers the claim. My lip would still need to reapply many time within 1 hour to feel soft and smooth. The good things about Eos products that is natural and organic which may be a good thing for people who are allergic to many synthetic or chemical products. Overall, Honeysuckle is a good product to try giving that the cost is affordable and it is good for the environment.

Concealers -Make Up For Ever - Full Cover Concealer

Make Up For Ever Full Cover concealer ($30 usd and 0.50 oz.) is lightweight full concealer. I have in shade #10 golden beige (Mac nc40) just a touch lighter than my skin tone. The texture of the full cover is smooth and easy to blend, it is not creamy like Eve Pearl salmon concealer that I use. It does a good job of covering acne scars, pigmentation and redness; but it will not covers them as well as wearing a foundation. I still can see certain acne scars on my face. It is not the most amazing concealer in the market but it gets the works done. Full Cover comes in a plastic squeeze tube which I like because it prevent product dryness, more sanitary, and easy of usage. There is not scent in the product either. The price is somewhat expensive but it comes in almost 2x the size of most concealers around 0.25oz to 0.30 oz. of the department brands. Overall Full Cover is a good product to own to cover minor scars and pigmentations but it is not the best out there.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst in Soft Rose [DISCONTINUED]

Revlon Colorbrust in Soft Rose 040 ( around $ 5-8 usd). Soft Rose is a somewhat red, orange and dark pink colors mix together. It is a medium to dark dusty reddish and pinkish. This is not a my lip but better (MLBB) types of color, because Soft Rose has a stronger intensity of red to it. Despite the name Soft Rose, it is not a soft light color at all. But if a person prefers a stronger medium reddish and pinkish color, then you might like this one. The application is smooth and apply easily. The staying power on my lip is about 2-3 hours which is average. It has a very fade waxy scent which is difficult to tell unless you smell at it closely. The package is pretty in a quilted black sleek case with the color of the product on top on the package. Colorbrust is an amazing line of lipsticks you can find at the drugstore. For me, I prefer more of a softer warm pink color, so Soft Rose is a little too orange and red on my lip, but the whole line is nice.

Lancome Fever Gloss in Inferno (0.20 oz and $26 usd). Inferno is a pale pink contains micro gold shimmers. It comes in a beautiful glass sleek package and with a dole foot applicator. Inferno has a pretty rose scent which disappears within 15 minutes after application. The product is smooth and apply like a dream on a lip, similar to other high ends like Chanel and Dior. Inferno would looks great for a smoky look when you want a light nude color and is great for everyday wear for work or school. The price is about $2-5 lesser than other competitive high end brands. This is a pretty color and smells very fresh and rosy. You can also find this color and others at the Lancome/Designer Fragrance outlet stores. Check for the outlet stores and you can score this about 40%-70% lesser than the regular retail price.

Lip Gloss -Bobbi Brown - Shimmer Lip Gloss - Pink Sugar

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Lip Gloss in Pink Sugar (0.14 oz and $22 usd). This is a light pale pink gloss contains micro silver shimmers. Pink Sugar has a thick consistency and is sticky on a lip. It reminded me of Mac lip glass. It comes in a cute small thin tube which can be great for traveling or putting in a pocket. Also, the package contains a bristle brush which at time can be difficult to apply because you would have to go over a lip quite a few times to get the right amount of product. The product size is smaller than the standard size which is 0.20 oz such as in Nars, Revlon, Chanel, Lancome, etc. So, you get a little product for $22 usd. In addition, Pink Sugar contains a vanilla scent which is subtle and would disappears within 10 minutes. Overall, Pink Sugar is great if you want a pale pink gloss that has micro shimmers and do not mind the stickiness and the small amount of product.

Scrubs -Philosophy - Amazing Grace Perfumed Hot Salt Scrub

Philosophy Amazing Grace Perfumed Hot Salt Scrub ($25 usd and 23 oz.) is light pink fresh floral smelling scrub. It smells exactly like the regular Amazing Grace products. This body scrub contains a huge product of 23 oz vs. 14 oz of a standard one which means for $25 usd, you would get more for your money. The term hot salt scrub is little misleading because it does not becomes hot or warm upon applying and rubbing on a body. And the container comes with a screw lid which can be difficult to use, I rather prefer a squeeze tube. On the other hand, Amazing Grace body scrub does works! It polishes and smooths my skin after the application. The size of the perfumed salts are semi small containing a smooth surface that prevents tuck and pull and the salt themselves do not melt in the container. I recommend Philosophy Amazing Hot Salt Scrub to anyone with any skin types and this scrub truly does keep your skin baby soft without an oily mess.

Philosophy Melon Daiquiri ($16 usd and 16 oz.) comes in a coral tone with the most amazing fresh melon scents of watermelon, cantaloupe and honey melon. It always clean my body well and is also moisturizing. It is never too dries or causes my body to turn ashy during the winter season. It lathers and foams perfectly and you would only need about a quarter size to clean your whole body. One 16 oz lasts about 4 months with 1 person usage. My husband loves this scent is as well compare to Amazing Grace and Margarita. I would recommend Melon Daiquiri to anyone for any ages and genders, you smell the true melons scent and not the synthetic one.

Treatments -Pro Activ - Proactiv Repairing Lotion

Pro Activ Repairing Lotion ($28 usd and 1 oz) is a daily acne medicated lotion uses to treat and prevent acnes. The new reformulated lotion has a rose scent. It really works for me. I have been using Pro Active since 2001 and have switched to different treatments with Philosophy, Shiseido, L'Occitane, and Rx for Brown Skin but they have only broke me out and only Repairing lotion saves my skin. With a daily usage, this prevent any future break outs and leave my skin clear with a couple of pimples here and there but nothing serious. I now have committed to use only Pro Activ repairing lotion because I know I will only get more break out with other treatments. Upon, the first use of this product for a new comer, you will feel a burning and tingling sensation that would last for about 2-3 weeks. Also, you feel your skin becoming very dry, mild itchiness and peeling within the 2-3 weeks because the skin is working hard to get rid off bacterial and oil clogged up in the pores. After the few weeks later, you will have a brand new skin that is glowing and radiant. This is a great product that actually works to fight acne.

Aveeno Positively Radiant SPF 30 ($15 usd and 2.5 oz) is a moisturizer that brings a healthy glow and enough sun protection for a daily usage. The product color is white and it applies smoothly with no problems. It has a nice subtle soy scent to it which disappears shortly. Positive Radiant spf 30 contain very milled micro shimmers that goes unnoticed unless a person would look very closely under the beauty magnification mirror. My husband and I both use this product, he enjoys it more than his Jack Black and Nivea products. I have been using Positive Radiant spf 30 since 2007 and it protects my skin from skin burns, dullness and prevents wrinkle. The price is good and it contains 2 1/2 time more product than a typical 1 oz. moisturizer. This will last about 3-4 months with everyday usages by 1 person. In additon, Positive Radiant spf 30 is gentle and oil-free which is good for a person who has an oily or senitive skin. I recommend this product for anyone looking for an everyday gentle moisturizer that gives a soft dewy finish and prevent a a future sun burn.

Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Velvet Eyeshadow - Gimme Some Plum

BeneFit Gimme Some Plum velvet eyeshadow ($18 usd and 0.11 oz) is a dusty pinkie purplish color. The texture is amazing. It is very soft and buttery and apply like a dream. The texture reminded me of TheBalm, Lorac and Chanel eyeshadow. The amount of product in here is fantastic, you get twice as much as a regular eyeshadow, 0.11 oz vs 0.05 oz. In addition, the package is very cute and sturdy with a picture of a white dove in the front, the package is somewhat similar to Shu eyeshadow packages. I would recommend Gimme Some Plum to anyone who is a fan of purple or anyone wanting a smooth, soft and buttery eyeshadow to try BeneFit velvet eyeshadow.

Primer/ Corrector -LORAC - Aquaprime

LORAC Aquaprime ($31 usd and 1.35 oz.) is a water based and oil-free and silicone-free makeup primer. Aquaprime does keep my foundation stay in put through out the day including a hot and a humid day. It is colorless and easy to apply with a hand(s) or a foundation brush. Once Aquaprime is set, you can detect that is there because it is lightly sticky but it will goes away after applying a foundation. It is also scent-free and do not feel oily or silky like other primers. It feels like water. The only down fall are the pump and the plastic cap. The pump splashes the primer all over the place within a 1 foot radius. And the cap tends to fall off easily storing it on a solid surface. Other than these 2, the Aquaprime works great on any skin types especially for people who are sensitive to silicone and oil based products.

Lipstick -Guerlain - Rouge G Gemma 64

Guerlain Rouge G Gemma ($47 USD, 0.12 oz.) is a stunning medium cool pink lipstick. Gemma is very pigmented, you would only need 1 swipe to get the intensity to get the desired coverage . Also, Gemma is an opaque and creamy lipstick that applies like butter and smooth that just glides on my lip effortlessly causing no tuck or pull. In addition, it is very moisturizing and keeps my lips soft and smooth through out the wear and is very comfortable to wear. The longevity is amazing as well lasting 5 + hours of wear and lasts longer than most lipsticks such as MAC, Revlon and Dior that I have used. Gemma has a rose and iris scent, a typical Guerlain scent that fades after a few minutes of application. The cost might prevent many from purchasing, but the formula is excellent, very smooth, creamy and opaque that lasts above the average lipsticks. Also, it is expensive due to the heavy silver bullet case that the lipstick comes in which contain 2 sides of mirror once the case is open. Overall, Guerlain Gemma is a beautiful medium everyday pink color and it is a creamier and more moisturizing than Chanel Rouge Allure and Coco that I have use. If you are looking for a medium cool pink just like my lip but better (MLBB) type with slight of mauve, then give Guerlain Gemma a try.

Eye Shadow -Christian Dior - 5 Colour Eyeshadow - Rosy Tan 754

Dior Rosy Tan 5-Colour Eyeshadow Palette($58 USD) contains a variety of brown based colors from pale pink, ivory pearl, light taupe brown, taupe brown and a deep brown. This one of my favorite quad from Dior since Dior quads are a hit or a miss for me. The pigmentation is excellent, the colors are true to pan. I did not find the colors to be chalky either. The application is smooth and the colors are soft to apply. Rosy tan will works with any looks and outfits. You can go from a subtle light taupe brown to a smoky dark taupe brown by using any of the 3 variety of browns. If you love a mixture of brown colors eyeshadow, Rosy Tan is a nice addition to your collection. The quad comes in a dark blue velvet pouch and 2 sponge tip applications. In addition, Rosy Tan will becomes a permanent collection part of Dior 5-Colour Eyeshadow quad. I would recommend Rosy Tan to anyone looking for a pretty taupe brown color and I see this will works with majority of skin tones and undertones.

Dior Stylish Move eyeshadow quad ($58 USA) has a different variation shades of a soft purple. It applies smoothly and contains no scent. One big down fall is the lack of a strong pigmentation. The pigments are there of the 5 different shades, but they are subtle. You would have to pack the eyeshadow to get the right amount of pigments. Other than that, this is a pretty quad to have for people who love mild purple and want an convenience of traveling with an eyeshadow palette. Stylish Move creates a soft neutral purple look that goes with any outfits and occasion. You can use the deeper purple to get a smoky look. The compact comes with 2 sponge tip applications and a deep blue velvet pouch for traveling.

Chanel Kaska Beige eye shadow quad ($57 USD) contains a deep neutral shades of brownish and purplish. This is one of the best quad from Chanel. The staying power is amazing with or without an eyeshadow primer! The shadows affect is so pretty as well, it has a micro shimmer once applied to an eyelid that is not glittery but subtle for any age groups. People tend to notice my eyes more whenever I wear Kaska Beige and this makes me happy. You can do many looks with this quad from an everyday light brown to an evening smoky brownish/purplish. The compact comes in a dark blue velvet poach and 2 sponge tip brushes. If you plan to get a Chanel quad, get this one, you will love it. I would recommend Kaska Beige for everyone with all skin tones and undertones because it will look very beautiful on everyone.
