Love this, my H.g Mascara. I love that it doesn't smudge or run but isn't a pain to remove. unlike other waterproof mascaras, doesn't leave lashes crunchy and flake off that irritates the yes. doesn't make my lashes fall out like other mascaras I've tried ( clinique high impact ) . oh and it curls and lengthens lashes lovely. love it, will keep repurchasing . Im on my 4 th one. Update: I've discovered this makes my eyelashes fall, I've switched to MAX factor false lash effect (non waterproof) .

Lip Treatments -Bourjois - Baume de Nuit Night Lip Balm [DISCONTINUED]
paradoxia1234 11/19/2010 10:01:00 AM
I got this because makeupgeek raved about it , doesn't really sink into my lips, they don't really look better the next day and it made my lipline red and tender ( allergic reaction ) after 3 nights ... carmex is way better .

Blush -The Body Shop - Lip & Cheek Stain
paradoxia1234 11/4/2010 6:34:00 PM
My HG blush. gives me that natural flushed look i love . also since its a tad shiny it naturally highlights my cheekbones . love it . as far as lip stain, not that big of a fan, but i love it as a blush . I'm an NC43 . update: so Im a bit peeved off, they seem to have changed the formula and the colour is less rosey now and more red-y . doesn't suit me and it goes on quite harshly now too. thats really depressing because it was my holy frickin grail and the only blush i used :'(

Loose Powders -MAC - Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder
paradoxia1234 11/3/2010 3:27:00 PM
I really don't get how people could like this product ? It feels exactly like i spent 17 pounds on a jar of cornstarch ! . Its not transparent, it looks like you have a thin layer of white powder on your face. not to mention it makes my face itch ! . no no no .

Treatments -Dermalogica - Gentle Cream Exfoliant
paradoxia1234 8/13/2010 1:30:00 PM
Meh, I decided to buy this after lisa eldridge from youtube highly recommended it. After reading the reviews here, I gave it a shot. unfortunately ,I don't like the way my skin looks after using it, it looks whiter ( not brighter) , almost slightly bleached looking , stripped and dry, I I also don't like that it makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight . when applying avoid your lashes and brows as it dried mine out. I like the concept of a non abrasive exfoliant but Wouldn't buy this again. its a shame since it was so expensive . skin does feel softer though- i'll give it that . but it was a waste money .

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
paradoxia1234 6/12/2010 12:40:00 PM
I SO wish I didn't buy this ! I'm relatively new to eye shadows , I got this because Makeupgeektv (youtube) said eye primers are a must have for eyeshadows and recommended this one . It hurt to spend that much money but I thought it would be worth it after reading these glowing reviews . it makes my eyeshadow look chalky and it looks ashy on my eyelids ( I'm NC43 ), I hate what it does to my eyelids even after washing it off, they looked different, in a bad way. They were more matte, ashy and more hooded, I looked older . I've only tried it twice but I'm not getting it anywhere near my eyelids again . I'm going back to using a face primer ( its better than nothing ) till I let my eyelids go back to normal(hopefully), recover from this massive waste of money, and consider trying TFSI . Update: glad it works for some of you, not for me unfortunately . Every once i a while I decide to give it another shot, but it never works out, eyeshadow looks chalky, eyelids look ashy, eyelids are dry after removing it. update !! I got TFSI and I like it ! It doesn't look ashy on my eyelids and doesn't dry them out ! Update: a year later I really love TFSI but still dislike UDPP.. wouldn't recommend it for darker skintones at all.
