Got a deluxe sample of it. I use it as a mascara base also use it at night. As a mascara base it does nothing to my lashes except making me feel better that my lashes are protected. I notices that it actually bring the curl down after I applied the mascara. Too heavy maybe? However, it's nice to use as a treatment. My lashes seem well conditioned. I loose less lashes during the day. After almost a week of using it as night treatment. My lashes look a little bit fuller and a little bit longer. But not enough to impress me to purchase a full size. Beside, I really don't like the brush head. It's too big and too sharp. Completely annoying when it comes to applying. I hurt my eyes every time when i use it. And you have to brush 5 or 6 times because the brush head just won't coat the primer on your lashes.
Concealers -Estee Lauder - Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer

I am on my second tube and I still have a brand new tube stock up under the counter. Recently I purchased the Estee Lauder foundation kit and it comes with a half size of this concealer. I don't think I need to repurchase for a while. The product itself is very creamy but kind of thick. I need about a minute to dab it evenly under my eyes. It does cover very well though. This is the only concealer I've tried that will stay on all day. Even though I am not a big fan of the consistency I still keep buying it. I really recommend moisturizing your under eyes with a good eye cream before applying it. Because throughout the day you might find it a bit drying. When I was close to finish up my first tube the sponge head broke so I ended up throwing it away without using it up completely. Hopefully this time it will last.
Moisturizers -Shiseido - Bio-Performance Advanced Super Revitalizer

I got this as a deluxe sample. But I know it costs $95 for 75ml, and $75 for 50ml. Quite expensive. This moisturizer has a medium thickness yet goes on smoothly. Absorbs quickly into your skin and leaves it perfectly hydrated without feeling sticky. I only use a little bit at night and it's enough to cover the whole face already. I would say a little more than a pea size. When i wake up in the morning my face is still perfectly hydrated without a layer of oil. I haven't use it in the morning yet but if it doesn't leave your face oily over the night then I'll assume it will do fine during the day as well. Because you only need a small amount I believe a full size product will last for a long time. I find the fragrance a little too...mature. I will purchase a full size when I use up my stockpile of moisturizer.
Bought it due to the good review on MUA. I like it but not enjoy using it. It's quite harsh for my standard. Feels like sand paper. But It cleans well without drying. Leaves a soft and moisturize feeling. Even my husband enjoy using it. He's actually the one finish up the tube. I only use it once to twice a week. I notice my skin is smoother after using it. If my nose is dry and has flaky skin it will clear it up after one use. And I also notice my husband has less blackheads. I do like to look for something with a gentler scrub but I will repurchase this one when Clinique has a good promotion. After all, it works. Therefore it's worth buying.
Cleansers -Estee Lauder - Soft Clean Moisture Rich Foaming Cleanser

I have combination skin. I got this because I tried the splash away (blue tube) at my gf's place and it was too drying. Thinking this one should be better for my skin type since it's for dry skin. I didn't like it at the beginning. Since I got pregnant I moved to the south. Not far, just a couple hours from where I used to live. Here is a couple degrees warmer. It shouldn't make a big different but I don't feel as dry living here. So I started using the same bottle I put away. It's feels much better this time. Not as drying anymore. the fragrance is still there and still annoying but I'm getting use to it. It's very rich and foamy. Rinse off easy with no residue at all. A pea size is enough to clean the whole face EVEN with make up on. And I like how thick it is so it doesn't slide off you hand when it's wet. Therefor this is truly an "a little goes a long way" product. $20 a tube is not a an issue. Because it's good quality and it last for a long long long time! Seriously, I've been using it every night for 3+ months and I think I only went through 1/3 tube. Some people complaint it's too hard to get it out of the tube because of it's thickness. I feel the same way but again, the thickness is one thing I like about it. I would recommend it to someone with combination to oily skin. But first off all, make sure you are NOT allergic to fragrance! It's very strong. By the way, I did made a not so positive comment at Estee Lauder website a while ago. But when I went to edit it, it's gone... Ummmm. Strongly recommend reading MUA comments rather than their official website.
It's an average product. I got it in shimmer. I like to wear it alone when I am going to walk the dog (don't wanna walk down the street looking sick scaring people). It's very easy to apply and it goes on nicely and stays on for a a decent amount of time. It does work on oil control. I still need to use one oil absorbing sheet a few hours later. That's not too bad. I don't know about minimizing imperfection. To me, it did make my pores appear smaller but not a big different. I don't really like the color of the shimmer though. It appears to be purple/pink with a little bit of blue. I think it reminds me of the plastic pearl/beads necklace kids play with... Anyways, I just personally dislike the color reflected under light. If I really want something to brighten my complexion I would prefer shimmer that has no or minimal color. At least it won't make your T zone looks oily. Over all, I don't mind this product. It's cheep and does at least 60% of what it say. I'm just too use to the $3 products from E.L.F therefore I gave it a 2 when it comes to price rating. I won't repurchase the shimmer one again but I'm interested in trying out the sheer though.
Great color. Good quality. With a base coat and a top coat, it lasted 3 days before chipping. But why does a good nail polish comes with a crappy brush??!! That brush totally ruin the whole good impression I have for Orly Nail Polish. It's so small. Makes it impossible to brush the polish on evenly. Therefore it comes out thick and streaky. I put on two coats and it looks a little better but it's still uneven.
Lotions/ Creams -L'Occitane - 20% Shea Butter Hand Cream
mi2092 9/5/2011 7:49:00 PM
I bought this because one of friends strongly recommend it. she even force me to use it whenever she brings it to work. lol. it is quite expensive for hand cream. and to be honest i don't like any other product made by L'Occitane. but this hand cream is worth it for me. i use a very small amount at night cause i want it to repair my dry hands from lack of reapplying hand cream during the day. yep, too lazy lol. I have to say it's working pretty good. after a week my hands are smoother and the dry lines have improved. my cuticles have improves as well. the peeling is reduced. i would not use it during the day for summer but in the winter i would definitely use it more often. I also use it as foot cream as well. it smells like baby powder and it's quite strong. this could be a problem for people who don't like strong fragrance.
Moisturizers -Garnier - Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream

Bought this for under $5 with a coupon at wal-mart. I wanted to find a replacement for my Biotherm Aquasource Non Stop Gel (the green one). surprisingly this one works pretty good. it goes on very smoothly and you only need a little bit to cover the whole face. it absorbs into your skin in 2 minutes and hydrates for a long time. I use it as my summer night cream because I don't like the shine it gives me after long hours. although it's just a little bit of oil but being spoiled by Biotherm for so long I need some time to adjust. overall this is a good moisturizer for summer. if you use it for winter you might find it too dry. not surprising. gel is usually not enough for winter.
Smells nice but it takes forever to absorb. It's moisturlizing for summer but i don't think anyone would wanna use a sticky lotion for summer. Even the next day i can still feel it. Makes me wonder maybe it didn't absorb into my skin. It might just went onto my bed sheet or cloths. Good thing is i didn't spend a lot of money on it. Got it for $4 at target using two coupons. But I'll not buy it again.
it's not moisturizing enough. and it seems like the more you apply the more it dries up your lips.
Mascara -Shiseido - Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus
mi2092 9/3/2011 12:45:00 AM
I like this product. bought it on line at ebay for about $16. very good quality. add length and volume in two swipes. long lasting and super waterproof. you can wear this and jump in a pool and not worry about having dark water dripping down your eyes. I once forgot to take it off at night and the next day i woke up my lashes are still standing up with no smudge at all. $16 for this kind of quality I would not say it's expensive. I only wish it's a little darker. But you know what? I don't really mind. it's already good enough.
I love it for being in between a bronzer/blush :) I have medium light skin tone with warm undertone. in some cases i'm medium or sand. it's hard for me to find the right blush. if it's too pink it makes my face look dirty. if it's too dark it makes me look darker and older. for a long time i thought i could only use bronzer but this, this is everything i wanted. the gold tone gives me the glowing look and the pink makes me look healthier. the shimmering does the job of highlighting. and it's suitable for all seasons. isn't this a plus?! I think it's originally $26 CAD but i got it on sale for $16.99. money well spent :D and it contains 12g of the product. it should last me for a long time. even if i have to pay full price i'll still get it again. i just pray for them not to discontinue it. If you r buying from their website, don't let the picture scares me. it DOES NOT look so orange in real life. now comes to the package. it's not the best caz i always worry it'll come off in the bag and gets on everything when i travel. it just doesn't seem so secured since it's not a screw top. but, no big deal. still my favorite blush.
such a high rating produce. So I thought I'll give it a try. For $2 I should have nothing to lose. At first I used it on my brows but it's too soft and the color is too intense. I also used it to line the water lines but it smudges and makes my eyes so watery and itchy.
$60 eyeshadow O_o but i like it T__T can't say it's a 60 dollars well spend caz it's really way too much for eyeshadow. but it's good quality. and the 5 colors gives you quit a few different ways to wear it. the powder is very fine and silky smooth. I really like how they include a cream liner and the brush:) so thoughtful. this color is a good choice for everyday wear:):):) definitely use a good eyeshadow primer for it though ;)
