this was horrible on my fine thin brown/black asian oily as heck hair 2nd day hair. turned it gray and left it flat and still oily but now oily, gray and powdery.
Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- Smitten

loveeee this! cant believe i waited this long to buy another color. my 1st one was the coral (orange) colored one, i really liked it but it was a bit bright to wear during the day but awesome for a summer night. now its cooler so i was looking for something to brighten up my complexion for nightime. this is beautiful on my C4, Nars Barcelona complexion. gorgeous berry fuchsia! not so bright to look garish but gives you a big pop of color. i love the jumbo crayon craze, awesome application. i would buy this color again.
Toners -Natura Bisse - NB-Ceutical Tolerance Toner
ltgee 12/18/2012 3:58:00 PM
i don't know why but my review is popping up under "Ceutical Tolerance Toner"?? i clearly typed in, "Stabilizing Toner" and it defaulted to this! anyway, this review is for the NB-STABILIZING toner. it was $40.00 from skincarerx.com and that was one of the cheaper online prices. very expensive. heard about natura bisse line being "transforming" so i bought the aha cleansing gel and this toner. comes in a can and the mist comes out like aerosol! it leaves a tingly feeling on my face afterwards, like minty. my face is crazy oily and it seems to help just a tiny bit with the oils but it has helped to reduce my rosy cheeks and the red between my eyebrows. i will update if this is transforming!
Cleansers -Natura Bisse - Facial Cleansing Gel with AHA
ltgee 12/18/2012 3:51:00 PM
been using this for a week now. its a low foaming gel and it does not irritate my skin at all. seems very mild, has a nice light fragrance and my skin feels clean and not stripped afterwards. havent broken out so thats a huge plus! very expensive though-$49.00 at skincarerx.com and thats the best price i could find it for. comes in a squeeze tube. i give it a 3, it seems like a good cleanser but will see if it can justify the price!
wore this during the summer, great with my tan. a coral-red w/iridescence to it. you can make it more coral (and less red) by topping it off with a milky pink gloss (the SA showed me how). color payoff is awesome with these sticks! NC42 during the summer for reference. not sure if i will re-buy as i don't wear red that often. i am more a pinky/coral/nude lippie wearing girl. cap kinda puffs up but has never come off.
Lipstick -NARS - Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Sex Machine
ltgee 12/18/2012 3:00:00 PM
a bit more mauve than i would have liked. will finish the pencil but i have to top it with a rosier gloss to make it work for my face. for ref. i am C4 winter/NC42 summer. On my pigmented lips this comes out a bit too purple/cool toned. Loving the color payoff though and chubby stick lip pencils are the best! Will not repurchase. I bought Dolce Vita also and i am LOVING the DV!
i can't comment on the scent because the lasting power sucks. it basically evaporated within seconds. all i caught was a whiff of vanilla and that's about it. do not buy! i put this on my neck and my wrists, walked out of the house and couldn't smell a dang thing for the rest of the day. fragrances are useless if they don't last beyond applying it!
Lipstick -NARS - Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dolce Vita

nothing like the namesake lipstick this matte lip pencil is the shiz! wearing it right now to dinner. beautiful "red" thats not in your face, very wearable. takes you from day to casual night out look. i really love it! i topped it with laura merciers "rose" lip glace to step it up a notch. easy to use pencil and glides on so smooth, even with dry lips. great color payoff. yes, the cap is whack-keeps popping up but has never actually fallen off. the matte pencils are much better than the gloss ones imo. those are too sheer for the money-probably "new lover" is the best one for gloss pencils because it gives some color.
Lipstick -Revlon - Color Stay Ultimate Suede Lipstick
ltgee 11/27/2012 6:49:00 PM
i read so many bad reviews on this and i watched it on "itsjudytime" vlog and it looks beautiful on her ("backstage"), so regardless of the reviews i bought it anyway. i dont know what some girls are talking about because the formula is SO SMOOTH going on! it definitely wears for a long time. i put it on for thanksgiving dinner and it lasted all through the meals. At about 10:00 pm i looked at myself and the inside had started to fade but about 80% of it was still on my lip. it dries to a matte but its not uncomfortable or anything. very good color payoff, "backstage" is a wine color. i gave it a good 3-4 passes to get it to that rich dark burgundy color. i am now interested in buying others colors! one lippie off because its a b*tch to scrub off. LOL i used a wet wipe to wipe it off, worked.
Lip Liners -NYX - Jumbo Lip Pencil - Soft Fuschia 721
ltgee 11/26/2012 12:58:00 PM
comes off very mauve/nude on my pigmented lips. formula is SO smooth! great lip pencil for the buck. bought at ulta. definitely NOT fuschia. i cant wear this alone but its great for blanking out the lips. i top with a pink gloss.
Fragrances -Christian Dior - Miss Dior Eau Fraiche
ltgee 11/20/2012 3:12:00 PM
not sweet enough for me, hurts my sinuses. almost astringent. but you know, fragrance is a body chemistry thing. not terrible but not for me. i prefer the original, this is a totally different scent altogether, not a "fresher" version.
Cleansers -Simple - Kind to Skin Refreshing Wash Gel
ltgee 11/20/2012 2:46:00 PM
i picked this up because i am an acid user and i needed a completely no frills, gentle, non acid, non retinol face wash. no fragrance which is awesome. i noticed some people said that its non foaming, but mine foams? you really only need a pea sized amount, really. i squirted out WAY too much the 1st time and it took me forever to wash it all off. just a pea size will cover your whole face! washes off easily and leaves my face calm. i put so much vitamin c and acids on my face that its not good to overdue so i try to keep my face cleansers neutral. bought at ulta for $6.99. upside down squeeze tube. i dont wear a ton of makeup, so i dont know how successful it is for that, so i am keeping 1 lippie off. makes MY face feel clean though and NOT stripped-which is awesome!
ughhh. tried this on at ulta last night and from start to finish-HUGE HEADACHE! its too cloyingly sharp & sweet all at the same time. when i think of "weekend" i think of a relaxing, laid back fragrance. this was like, "BAM-smell me biatch! i want to pinch you AND stuff a pound of sugar in your nose!"
not sure if i want to buy this again but its a possibility if i cant find anything better. i switch between this, chanel & nars matte. this foundation is veryyyyy runny (way too much always comes out) and can accentuate the dry patches on your face. but it does give great coverage and really keeps my face matte! so im torn about that. it gives more coverage than chanel and just a bit less than nars. it dries very fast so make sure you dont put your "dots" on your face ahead of time, by the time you get to them they will have dried up! work in small sections. i would say this foundation keep the oilies at bay better than chanel or nars but the nars has a better color match for my skin (NC42 summer/C4 winter).
great texture! goes on so smooth and for a matte lippie it doesnt suck all the moisture out of your lips. its a matte but not too matte (like revlons mattes). the color looks like a reddish pink in the tube. on me it pulls a more coral, orange pink(i dont mind) but its a shade more appropriate for summer imo. it looks a lot like mac hibiscus! it really brightens up your face. i am loving the texture, will try more for this price point. one lippie off for being too orange like, when i think of strawberries i think of red. oh-and be careful with the tube. the tube is very "loose" and you can accidentally twist the body up while the cap is on and will smash your lippie!
