Cleansers -The Body Shop - Camomile Waterproof Eye Make-Up Remover

Why I like this make up remover sooo much: - I hate make up removers that leave your skin oily - this one is creamy, but leaves nearly nothing on your skin. - I had problems with irritated eyes with other products - this one is just so gentle and has only a very light scent. - It removes the make-up easily - no hard rubbing. - I travel every weekend - so I needed one which comes in a handy size and does not leak if transported. This one fullfiles all my criteria! This is my HG make up remover!!!
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Puree

( 0 - 5 points, 5 = excellent, 0 = very bad) texture: 4 feeling on skin: 4 moisturizing*: 2 sinking into the skin: 5 smell: 5 packaging**: 2 TOTAL POINTS: 22 of 30 = good * according to the skintype it's supposed to suit ** Can you get out the very last drop? I can't decide if I like the bottle with the pump dispenser or not. The upside is, that the lotion is easy to get out - the downside is of course that you are not able to get out everything like this. I also think that the amount of lotion is not very much for the price! The lotion itself is light and smells sooo great, I love it! It is only for normal skin in my opinion, cause it's not rich enough for dry skin. It sinks in quite fast and leaves a fresh feeling. I will buy again - but probably the body butter version next time...
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Coconut Milk Body Lotion

(0 - 5 points, 5 = excellent, 0 = very bad) texture: 3 feeling on skin: 4 moisturizing*: 2 sinking into the skin: 4 smell: 3 packaging**: 4 TOTAL POINTS: 20 of 30 = average * according to the skintype it's supposed to suit ** Can you get out the very last drop? In general, this spray-on lotion is easy to handle and moistures nicely. But I have some dry spots (my knees, elbows...) and it's not rich enough for them - they feel dry on the next day! As I don't like to use another product in addition, I would not buy again. This is recommandable for normal skin and for summer time, in my opinion. The smell is ok, but not one of the best of Body Shop products for me.

(0 - 5 points, 5 = excellent, 0 = very bad) texture: 4 feeling on skin: 4 moisturizing*: 5 sinking into the skin: 4 smell: 3 packaging**: 5 TOTAL POINTS: 25 of 30 = very good * according to the skintype it's supposed to suit ** Can you get out the very last drop? This is a rich and moisturing body butter. It's suitable for normal to dry skin. I like to use it in the winter. The smell is nice, but there are much better ones from the body shop in my opinion. This is why I only gave 4 lippies and would not buy again. But in general, it is a good product!
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Almond Body Butter

(0 - 5 points, 5 = excellent, 0 = very bad) texture: 4 feeling on skin: 5 moisturizing*: 5 sinking into the skin: 4 smell: 5 packaging**: 5 TOTAL POINTS: 28 of 30 = excellent * according to the skintype it's supposed to suit ** Can you get out the very last drop? This is absolutely suitable for dry skin! It's is a very rich body butter, so you don't need much of it. I like to use it in the winter. This stuff smells sooo good, it's the most natural smell of marzipan I ever smelt! My boyfriend uses it too. ;)
Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Lip Care Stick - Cocoa Butter
dea2407 2/23/2010 8:39:00 AM
Cocoa butter begins to melt when it gets in contact with the warmth of your body (lips). And this simple fact makes this product so good, I guess! I always get one in winter, because my lips get dry from the heated air. It lasts and it moistures really good! It smells like cocoa, but more like raw cocoa to mee, not like a cup of cocoa or chocolate. I like the smell, but I know people which can't stand it because it's kind of special - so try this before!
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Peach Body Butter Limited Edition [DISCONTINUED]

(0 - 5 points, 5 = excellent, 0 = very bad) texture: 4 feeling on skin: 4 moisturizing*: 5 sinking into the skin: 5 smell: 5 packaging**: 5 TOTAL POINTS: 28 of 30 = excellent * according to the skintype it's supposed to suit ** Can you get out the very last drop? This is supposed to be for all skin types and I agree - except for very dry skin, it might be to light. The smell is sooo fresh and delicious, I love it!
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Raspberry Body Butter
dea2407 2/23/2010 8:30:00 AM
(0 - 5 points, 5 = excellent, 0 = very bad) texture: 5 feeling on skin: 4 moisturizing*: 5 sinking into the skin: 5 smell: 5 packaging**: 5 TOTAL POINTS: 29 of 30 = excellent * according to the skintype it's supposed to suit ** Can you get out the very last drop? Moistures normal skin wonderfully and smells soooo yummy! Reminds me of raspberry yoghurt. My favourite The Body Shop Body Butter.
I love, love, love the smell! But if you are not into the typical "Christmas-smell" of gingerbread and cinnamon - than keep your hands of!!! It smells really intense! I keep this in my cupboard and my whole room kept smelling after a few hours. I can understand, that there are either lovers or haters for this soap! I'm not disturbed by the flakes in it and I didn't see that it coloured my water or left any mess in my bathtub. I simply love this for relaxing in the cold winter time.
(0 - 5 points, 5 = excellent, 0 = very bad) pigmentation: 3 texture: 5 blendable?: 5 colour-fast: 3 versatile?: 4 staying power: 3 TOTAL POINTS: 23 of 30 = good This shows up on my pale skin as a brownish colour with a little redish touch. I always think of cinnamon when I look at me in the mirror. It's really pretty and as it's sheer, you can get every look from light to intense. So if you are looking for a colour with a tanning effect, but no shimmer for very pale skin, I would suggest this one or Prism (for a more beige-brown effect).
I adore the smell! Too me it smells like cloves, oranges, tangerines, gingerbread, sugar and cinnamon (I know, there's no cinnamon in it ;)! The smell is definetly noticeable, but not overpowering or disturbing. The water takes on a dark yellow - orange colour and you can see the crushed cloves in it. I will repurchase next Christmas, for sure!
Moisturizers -The Body Shop - Seaweed mattifying moisture lotion SPF 15

First, I have to say that I use a moisturizer for acne-prone skin on my T-zone. I can't use the same for my cheeks - they tend to breakouts, but they still need more moisturization. I have always used Biotherm's Aqua Source and it works great for me! But as it's so pricey, I wanted to find a cheaper alternative and I tried this one. My review: It's not bad - but that's it! For me, it's a little bit too creamy and sinks in too slow. I also "feel" that I put something on my skin for a while, which is something I don't like. The moisturing-effect is okay - but again, my skin doesn't feel as smooth and "nurtured" as with Biotherm's Aqua Source. Edit: I don't use it any more, though I haven't used up the tube - it made me break out! It can't have been anything else...
Weird stuff to me! Shouldn't have bought that online because I wouldn't have bought this in a shop anyway. Doesn't smell as nice as you might expect. It also melts very fast, which is a total downside, as bathrooms always are warm places. I'm refusing to get it in the fridge, cause I wouldn't like to get a cold-shock in the shower afterwards. It moisturizes and does its job - but it's nothing special at all. Won't buy again!
This was the first LUSH face cleanser I tried. It really helps clear my skin and has a nice, natural smell. I like the scrub-effect of it - DON'T RUB to hard on your skin, just let it slide over it. I use it on my neck and decollete too. And: It is soooo efficient!!! I ordered my first piece in May 2009 and I still got a little bit of it (use it two or three times a week)!!! That's sensational to me and it makes the price dirt cheap! The soap also didn't get icky after all that time. One downside: I can't use it daily, then my skin gets too dry in certain places.
What a good working, nice smelling and scrubbing, handy bar! Some people write that it's rough to their skin - well, it's not at all to mine. DON'T RUB it on your skin, just let it glide over it gently. My skin always feels smooth and moistured after using it. Will buy again and again!
