I was surprised to find that there weren't any reviews for this product, so I will happily add my own. I bought this product on a whim one day at Ulta. It was one of those days I needed a pick-me-up, and decided that retail therapy was my best bet. Truthfully, I'd been thinking that I needed a shine mist to add a moisturizing shine boost after blow drying my hair, so it seemed like a good day to do some research. I have color-treated red hair that fades quickly. I tow the line between soft silky red hair and strawberry blonde straw about 1.5 weeks after I visit the salon. I normally detest shine serums, as they leave my hair a greasy oily weighed down mess. My stylist has used their salon's brand on me more than once, and I always rush to wash it out the next morning. I'm not supposed to wash my hair daily, but after ANY styling product is in my hair more than about 12 hours, I'm a greasy mess anyway so I have no choice. My hair takes a beating, so I have to treat it nicely. I tried this product in the store first on my hands to see if it was oily. It wasn't oily. It had what felt like an alcohol based quick drying slippery silicone-like texture that didn't feel greasy at all. I used the tester to spray some in my hair, then I walked around the store a bit. Not only did it smell great, but it didn't weigh my hair down at all. It added a beautiful shine once only reserved for my virgin brunette hair way back in the day. Running a brush through my hair didn't feel like it would cause breakage, and the product itself held up nicely while adding a little bit of extra moisture to my hair. The result? I am addicted to this product. I rarely forget to apply it as my last step before heading out the door to work in the morning. I highly recommend it.

Treatments (Eye) -Patricia Wexler MD Dermatology - Intensive 3-in-1 Eye Cream

I found this product during an eBay search for something else. After reading the description, I was intrigued, so I purchased it. It is a slightly heavier eye cream but has a really silky, protective feel to it. It isn't too heavy, either and a little goes a long way. I recommend this eye cream to anyone seeking a little extra protective moisture under the eye day and night. I put it on before my sunscreen before makeup in the morning, and after cleansing and before nighttime moisturizer at night. This is an excellent product, and I intend to repurchase once I run out. It tends to be a little pricey, but sellers on eBay usually list it for a bit cheaper.

Treatments (Eye) -Patricia Wexler MD Dermatology - de-puff eye gel

Been purchasing this product for about a year now. It really does work, as long as the puffiness under the eyes isn't major. If I'm really puffy due to allergies, I use ice. However, if I have a little water retention and wake up puffy, this is my go to product. Sometimes, I have to use a tiny bit more and/or a second application, but it is effective. It provides a nice cool sensation during application too. I can see it work as I'm putting on my makeup. I keep it on hand at all times.

Treatments (Eye) -The Body Shop - Vitamin E Eye Cream

Great for that extra boost of moisture under the eye area. I wouldn't call it anything super spectacular as far as eye creams go, but I've purchased this product for a few years now and really like the emollient properties. It doesn't do much to ease fine lines. It comes in a tube, and that's a plus. It lasts a long time too. I like to use it under other eye creams and in combination with either the day or night moisturizer from the same line. I don't have to worry about it 'traveling' or causing breakouts or milia and have recommended it to friends seeking that extra bit of moisture.

Moisturizers -The Body Shop - Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream

My husband and I use this at night. It's slightly heavier than the regular moisturizer and is quite excellent especially during the winter months when our skin is a bit dryer. Strangely, the lid is pink, yet the lid on the regular moisturizer is black. We switch the lids when we buy them to make it easier to quickly grab the night cream. I've recommended this to friends, as it is an excellent cream that doesn't feel overly greasy or heavy.

Moisturizers -The Body Shop - Vitamin E Moisture Cream

My husband and I regularly use this moisturizer year round. It's part of our daily skin care routine, and we love it. The moisturizer for day is extra for that extra layer on top of sunscreen (sunscreen MUST come first) and it doesn't feel heavy or greasy. I wish this stuff had sunscreen because if it did, it would be our daily sunscreen. The price is right, and it lasts a long time. The only confusing thing about it is that it has a black lid. When we buy it and the night cream, we switch lids to make it easier for us to identify the day vs the night cream. I love this stuff and have recommended it to many people. Excellent product.

Shampoo -Matrix - Biolage - Color Care Shampoo
rated 5 of 5

I have color-treated hair that tends to be on the dry side after the 2nd week or so after coloring. I have to be really careful what I use because my hair will begin to feel strawlike in an instant if I don't treat it well. I'd purchased a few different shampoos here and there and was decently happy, but really needed something for color-treated hair that wasn't going to strip my hair of any essential oils it could possibly use. I started using this shampoo about a year ago after seeing it on sale at Ulta, and remembering that I was always pleased with the results from Biolage products. About 6 months ago, Ulta had a buy one liter, get the other liter free sale, so I went for it. The shampoo treats my hair gently, and gets it ready for my conditioner and leave-in before blow drying. I have an ample supply as a result of Ulta's sale, and I'm a happy camper. BTW, the generic version of Biolage products is called Biotera. If you are licensed, as I am, go for the Biotera stuff if it's available at your local professional beauty supply store.

Works for me. Great spot treatment formula that dries things up quickly. The tube is quite small, but it does last a long time.

Skincare - Face -Murad - Acne-Prone Skin Formula
rated 4 of 5
Viesha 3/10/2003 10:41:00 PM

I've been using this product for quite awhile. My goal was to get off of a prescription called MetroGel, which I used for a few years. It worked great, but I wanted something to clear the skin without having to use a prescription. I was taken by the infomercial, but was pleased with the results I got. I especially like the non-greasy feel and the fact that it keeps my acne under control. Somewhat pricey, but a little goes a long way.

Mascara -Lancome - Definicils Mascara

One word. OUTSTANDING. The brush is the best, and I wish my other mascaras had the same brush. It provides great lengthening without clumps and looks fantastic. I don't buy this product, only because it's too expensive. My friend gives it to me because she gets it as a bonus for buying some other Lancome products.

Liquid -Revlon - Skinlights Diffusing Tint [DISCONTINUED]
rated 4 of 5
Viesha 3/10/2003 9:32:00 PM

I've been using this foundation for about a year. It gives a nice even light coverage without clogging my pores. I switched to it from a heavier foundation. At first, it took some time to get used to a lighter liquid, because I was used to a thicker foundation. But, after getting compliments and less breakouts, I think I've found the right product for me. An extra bonus is the pump, which keeps bacteria out of the container. It also smells nice.

Wonderful pink glowy shimmer! A bit pricey, but I use this primarily at night. I've used it now and then for daytime makeup. It works wonderfully when blended with my foundation or when used over the nose, cheeks, or chin. It catches the light "just right". Very nice product. Easy to apply and the liquid is light and easy to blend.

Mascara -Almay - One Coat Mascara (Thickening)
rated 5 of 5
Viesha 3/10/2003 9:17:00 PM

I used this product back in the early 90s. I probably strayed away from it due to the lure of something else but I found myself going back to it this month. I wasn't disappointed. I tried the Almay One Coat Triple Effect and liked it but the formula was so thick that it made a mess around the tube that made it difficult to open and close. This particular version, however, allows me to build layers (I apply 2) without a cakey mess. Also the brush is tapered at the tip so applying mascara to the little bitty hairs at the inner corners of my eyes is an absolute breeze with no mess or cleanup. It dries quickly, doesn't smear, and the formula removes easily with Jojoba Oil at the end of the day. All in all, STILL a winner all these years later. I highly recommend it.
