Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Mega Plush

Even though it's advertised as "Plush" it does NOT make your lashes feel soft at all. However, it doesn't clump, adds volume, and looks totally gorgeous! A PLUS.
I'm not too sure on this product. Sure, its silky, smooth, sweet-scented, well-pigmented, and looks good on, but I'm not that in to shimmer. I got the color "Shell Pink" or #4, a pretty, salmon-pink shimmer. It looks wonderful on the lip, like my lips but better, except the slightly "frosty" look it has. It's not really a big problem though because it makes my lips look fuller, but because the lighting in the store I thought the color was different. Still a nice color, though, and I love the packaging!
I just purchased the color Chai, Vivid Violet, and Posy Pink. They are all beautiful, long-wearing, long-lasting, creamy, glamorous, "legendary" shades that are truly something to rave about. I used to be completely cray-cray over these, but I found out that MAC has close dupes to these shades for a lower price. I am now, sadly, converted. MAC has beautiful lipsticks in a greater range of shades, and recycle their packaging!! I love love loveee the Smashbox but I've found a new love...MAC. Smashbox, darling, it's been real sweet. But me and MAC, well, we just...get each other. MAC's so kind to me; so lovely to me. I'm sorry, baby, but we're over. x
This was gross and chalky!! Pretty packaging, though, but the "barbie pink" color looks so fake on me!! I guess its okay with a balm (it tones down the color), but it honestly made me look like a bimbo. Very loud!
Why why why? I LOVE HARD CANDY, so why do I get all the dud products? I know some people LOVE this...but it didn't give me any color!! I rubbed my finger on the product and all it gave me was a sheer layer of glitter on my forefinger. I tried to dust it on with a blush brush, but it didn't provide any pop of color. A thumbs down.
Sure it primes and makes makeup last longer, but I don't reach for it often because I have many other primers that I enjoy better. This one, however, does create a nice barrier between your skin and your makeup, so I would recommend this. P.S: A little goes a long way!
Highlighters -Hard Candy - Glow All The Way in Doll Face

Am I the only one thinking..Ughh I hate this? My highlighter I GOT was totally NON-PIGMENTED...I applied it and it just made my skin all oily and didn't deposit any color. I have a light skin tone and it didn't show up at all!! I was so disappointed.
Lips -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait

Okay, I expected a nude, smooth, creamy color. This was a pretty shade of peach/pink, but gritty beyond belief with glitter. On my lips it was an unattractive chrome color, and the other shades definitely suit me better because they aren't so...blehh. I LIKED IT AT FIRST, but after a couple of uses its SUPER chunky!!
Pressed Powders -Clinique - Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder

I'm not really a "I-want-to-look-made-up" person, because I like to look natural. This powder did exactly that! Not only is it smooth and barley-there, but it absorbs all oil and keeps your face fresh and matte. The packaging is sleek, green, and marble-like, coming with a mirror, cosmetic sponge, and tiny plastic sheet to separate the sponge and powder. I definitely recommend this to everyone with oily skin! (for dry skin it may look a bit caky)
I have never tried Clinique's brand until I found this wonderful, matte foundation. It's light, silky, and provides nice, light to medium coverage. What I like most is that you can layer, or "double it up" on problem areas, creating a completely air-brushed canvas. LOVE!
Korres rocks!! I was pleasantly surprised with this lip butter, because its so hydrating and colorful like a lipstick in pot! I don't think I'll purchase the tub again, I think I'll buy the tube, because I hate getting lip products on my hands. Quince is a beautiful, red-sheer color, that goes well with any skin tone. It provides a natural, satin finish, but has a horrible taste and scent. I knocked off a lippie because of the awkward packaging.
Burt's Bees is one of the best lip product brands for healing lips. It's made from natural ingredients and provides excellent hydration, perfect for cold winter days, or those days when your lips are dry, cracked, and BLAH. You can get tinted ones, medicated ones, and MORE. I love this lip balm, but the reason that I won't repurchase is because I have other lip balms that I depend upon, and I think they work better for me.
