Toners -LUSH - Tea Tree Water
rated 4 of 5

Love this product. It doesnt have a strong tea tree smell. Its brilliant to use after my angels on bare skin from lush. The tree tree water makes your skin feel fresh and clean, without dryness as it has no alcohol. You can also use this product during the day on bare skin or on top of make-up.

Highlighters -MAC - strobe liquid
rated 4 of 5
LishWilliams 4/22/2012 8:38:00 AM

I have used both strobe liquid and strobe cream. If your oily/combo I would say get the liquid-If your dry then the cream. I like using strobe liquid under my MAC studio fix fluid, as it gives it a bit of a dewy look with out making me look to oily. I have dark skin, and found that the liquid is a bit to pink to wear on its own, but felt that the cream was more suited to be worn on its own. I think this is a great product to give the skin a glow and also to stop foundations with spf looking ashy on dark skin. I havent finished my strobe liquid, but im not sure if i will beable to get out all the product as its a pump, and you cant unscrew the pump.

Cleansers -LUSH - Ultrabland

I couldn't live without this product. It takes of ALL make-up.....once again, ALL make-up...eyelash glue, waterproof mascara and eyeliner, everything. The best think about this product is that you can rub it into your eyes and it won't sting or burn. I love using this in the morning to wash my face and in the evening to take off my make-up before using angels on bare skin. If you purchase this product i would strongly advise buying a face cloth of muslin cloth, as you will be cotton pads every week. Ultra bland is very expensive, but i really think its worth it. im not using make-up wipes that dry, sting my face and does't take my make-up off. This product is oily, and if you think 'i cant use that because im oily and have acne'.Well the honey in it is anticeptic and will help to clear your skin...so buy it! or get a sample and see how you get on with.

Liquid -Lancome - Teint Idole Ultra 24h
rated 5 of 5

This foundation is a medium to full coverage (full coverage if you use quite a bit) I normally use MAC studio fix fluid or studio scuplt, so Im used to a real full coverage. I found colour matching this foundation quite difficult, and when watching youtube, I found a few girls either saying they didnt think the colour was right for them. Im an NC50 at MAC, I have cool tones in my skin (no warmth or red tones) ,but was told 10 (there are 2 tens one for dark, one for light) would be perfect. she put it on and it was quite red on my skin, so it made me look like I was wearing a mask. I went to Allders and spoke to another lady at the Lancome counter, and she was brillant, she colour matched me at an 11 which has cool tones in and allowed me to see the difference between the 10 and the 11 on my skin. I can't believe that I was given the 10.... there are alot of girls on youtube who got a 10 who are NC50 I would say get colour matched yourself and ask the SA to try it on you, and walk around with it on your skin for a few hours( if there are no samples) so you can see how it wears. This foundation goes on like a dream. I used a sigma flat top brush to buff it in, and it looks beautiful. It says its a matte finish...I think its more satin which I love. It gives my skin a glow and as its quite thin, I dont feel like im plastering my face in foundation....also it photographs beautifully .It does have a smell, which I dont like...but I can get over it because I like the foundation. Its £27 currently in England. Its much more expenses then my MAC studio fix fluid...but at least it comes with a pump. :) I would say, if your counter is still giving out sample, try it. I really like it, and think its worth the money.

easy to use, it comes with a card to explain how to contour and highlight. Im an NC50 and i use dark, and its perfect! online they have a compact that you can buy with a dual ended brush....wish they could sell that in superdrug. This product is very pigmented so you really dont have to use alot......its happened to me, and I looked like i walked out of the 80s, so build the colour. love this product

Brows -MAC - Eyebrows Crayon in Spiked
rated 4 of 5
LishWilliams 4/15/2012 1:19:00 PM

This is a great buy from mac if you have dark eyebrows. The reason I have given it a 3 for packaging is you cant tell when its going to finish, so i have to buy two each time, because the last thing you need is shading in one eyebrow before going out, and it finishes....so your left running around your house trying to find another product, but I do like the slimline design and not having to worry about a shapner...(even if i cant tell when its gonna finish :) ) I love this and havent found anything that matches my eyebrow colour and i love the control it gives me to do my arch and the tail of my eyebrow

Shampoo -LUSH - Rehab Shampoo
rated 4 of 5
LishWilliams 4/15/2012 12:52:00 PM

I have virgin weave, and have used alot of heavy moisture based shampoo and conditioners, which started to build up on my weave making it heavy/oily and strachy. I needed something that would take of all the product......so i got some rehab. It had a lovely smell! and i could really tell it was cleaning the product overload of my weave. i used retread after....my weave has come back to life, its soft, free of product build up, and the curl came back better than before. it did make it feel a little dry,but not a serum cant sort out.

Treatments -LUSH - Henna - Caca Noir
rated 4 of 5
LishWilliams 4/15/2012 12:45:00 PM

I have virgin weave which I love, and wanted to dye it darker to match my leave out. I know how damaging drugstore dyes can be so henna was the only way. I used caca noir. I hennaed my weave when it was taken out so i could leave it on some foil to dry. It took a while for all the henna bits to come out. i would suggest to anyone who is using henna, rinse your hair with plain water a couple of times, then use shampoo so your not wasting shampoo. I also used salt to help develop the indigo so it would make it darker (a colour 1B) This henna has cocoa butter in it, which adds moisture to the hair. when my hairdresser can round to do my hair she said 'is that new hair?' and I said no, its the same hair just henned!...she couldnt believe how shinny it was, and believe me it was shinny soft, THICK and beautiful. i have put my weave in again, and didnt henna it....it looks a little dull, and cant wait to henna it again. if you have remy hair, henna wont work, as the cuticle has been sealed, but any virgin hair will work

Liquid -MAC - Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15
rated 4 of 5
LishWilliams 4/15/2012 12:34:00 PM

I actually love this foundation. I know some people out there have had really bad breakouts, but Ive been using this foundation on and off for 5 years and have never had a problem. I've tried others, but allways come back to this product (at the moment im trying lamcome idole 24, will write a review on that soon) the points of this foundation are: medium to full coverage dries quickly, so you have to work quickly with it great for combo/oily skin (if your skins oily think about using a primer....just an idea) if you re-touch during the day doesnt look cakey if you add a face cream to it, works as a great tinted face cream hasn't got a strong smell one of its down falls is it doesnt come with a pump...you can buy it, at an extra cost. doesn't flash back, so you can take pictures all day long and not look like a hotmess all in all, I love this product, i feel comfortable wearing it, but if you like something lighter or you have a dry skin....dont waste your money.

Treatments -TRESemme - No Frizz Serum
rated 3 of 5
LishWilliams 8/31/2011 9:02:00 AM

I have virgin Brazillian wavy hair weave and this product really brings the hair back to life. It makes the hair smooth and feeds the ends of the hair so its not dry. Its a light weight product and you only need 1 or 2 pumps ( I have 16'' in at the moment) I really like this product! I think people with thicker hair should try this product as it could be to heavy for thinner hair. At the moment its £2.99 in superdrug so try it and see how you get on. pos: its a brilliant product negs: I wish it smelt a little nicer, it does smell nice, but it does have a strange undertone in it that I dont like

Liquid -MAC - Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation
rated 4 of 5
LishWilliams 8/31/2011 8:52:00 AM

I brought this product about a year ago. I have normal/combo skin. I use NC50 and normally wear MSF in deep dark by MAC on top of the studio sculpt. I like this product, but would not wear everyday as I like a lighter coverage. Its a medium to full coverage, it comes in a tube and not a normal MAC pump so you cant allways judge how much your using. It has a gel texture and glides on to the skin beautifully. I would say use a stippling brush to apply, some people say use a flat brush, but I get the best finish using a stippling brush. This foundation like I said is a medium to full coverage, if you use a lot of this product in one application especially with the NC50 and darker tones,it can start to look really red/orange. This foundation photographs really well, and looks amazing in natural light. Its a brilliant foundation for professional shows too, as it give a full coverage finish and works really well with translucent powder without making darker skin look ashy. If you have oily skin because of the gel formula, you might have to use a primer and a really good powder as it might move alot on your skin. pos: Lasts a long time. easy to apply, looks good in photos and in naturally light, good for live theatre, good for dry normal/combo skin negs: quite expensive. because its in a tube you can judge usage. I like this product, but you need to find the best way of applying it for your skin.

Cleansers -LUSH - Angels on Bare Skin
rated 5 of 5
LishWilliams 8/31/2011 8:22:00 AM

This product is a brilliant cleanser if used correctly. Its not a make up remover its a daily cleaner with almonds (the seed) to gentle scrub the skin. Its really good for dry to normal skin and really good if you want to bring a glow back to the skin. If you brought this product its a good idea to buy a face cloth so you dont have to use loads of cotton pads. Angels on Bare Skin doesnt foam as foaming agents can dry your skin out, but I feel that the scrub makes me feel like my skin is being cleaned. I love that it doesnt make my skin feel dry or tight, and I love the glow it brings to my skin. pos: Natural product, has a scrub, can be used daily, good for sensitive skin, it is a little bit on the expensive side but I do believe its worth it. In the UK if you bring back 5 black lush pot you get a free facemask. helped clear my skin!!!!!!! neg: It takes a bit of time to get use to using this product as its not a liquid or cream. you have to really rinse your face cloth not to leave any bits of almond seeds all in all I think its a brilliant product! hope this helps
