Didn't really do it for me. I found that Right Image looked really pigmented in the tube but when I put it on my lips it was just mediocre. The color is pretty but there are wayyy too many dupes for this! I am an NC40 skintone...won't repurchase.
I find myself always reaching for this liner! I love it...it's so versatile too. Subculture is a really soft liner that makes application easy. It's a nice rosy/brown nude color that isn't loud but it's not too subtle either. I found out about this from Kim Kardashian's makeup artist and she pairs this with MAC Angel lipstick topped w/Nars Turkish Delight. I do also now :) I'm a NC 40 skintone for reference. I recommend this to all....all skintones will benefit from Subculture.
Just a bad mascara!! Even for a basic mascara (which this is) it should offer better results. You could buy E.L.F's double ended mascara for a dollar and have better luck!
I really like this palette alot! I find myself using "Heaven" the most. It's my HG brow bone color! I'm giving this 4 lippies because the color "Velvet Revolver" does not show up on my NC40 skintone :( Also the packaging is a little bulky. All in all I would repurchase this because so far this has lasted me quite a long time.
I bought this on a whim from E.L.F.com hoping that it would work. I hate dishing out 20 bucks for a primer(UDPP) This stuff works! I does everything that UDPP does and for a fraction of the price. I don't think I'll ever buy UDPP again because this works just as good. My eyeshadow didn't crease, it brought out the pigmentation/and held it on my eyelids all day/night! Will repurchase!
Conditioner -Organix - Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner
Catarah 10/5/2010 1:51:00 PM
The only 2 things that I like about this are: -The packaging -The smell ...Other than that this did NOTHING for my hair!! It actually made it more dry than it was before. I couldnt brush my hair out that's how tangled it was from this conditioner. This made my hair feel like straw!!
What I really liked about this was the packaging. I thought it was so cool to have a pump blush. Like many reviewers have said...you need like 1/4 pump (if that's even possible)...a full pump is a waste. I wasnt too crazy about the texture/and color of this. I do think for the money it's a great deal because this would last someone a lifetime! haha
Pressed Powders -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural - Deep Dark
Catarah 10/3/2010 1:04:00 AM
I would say this is my HG bronzer right at the moment. I got lucky and got this in a swap. I use this almost everyday. It has shimmer in it but it's not overpowering like some. I will repurchase this. I'm an NC40 skintone for reference
This my HG MAC brush along side w/the 187. I agree w/the reviewer below me..how the hell can this have low ratings? I use this EVERYDAY! I apply my bronzer w/this and my regular powder. It's densely packed so it does pick up tons of product. It's super soft when it touches your face. I have other brushes that I threw away as soon as I got this one. There is no comparison.
Makeup Brushes -MAC - #168 Large Angled Contour Brush
Catarah 10/3/2010 12:55:00 AM
This is one of my top 5 MAC brushes. I use it for applying blush and contouring. It grabs alot of product, it's very accurate at detailing..especially when your contouring...I just love this brush!
I think the name of this product is true somewhat. Tone Correcting...(yes) Concealer...(no). I bought this in ivory which is the lightest color and what I use it for is to brighten under my eyes. It does a horrible job at concealing but for me it does a good job at brightening. I don't use this to cover up acne scars/hyperpigmentation. Under my eyes only. Not sure if I would repurchase..but then again, for a dollar..why not :)
Like most of you....I was on the lookout for a cheaper eyeshadow primer. Let's face it ladies...Almost 20 bucks for one is a little absurd! I have UDPP, Painterly, and BareCanvas. I spent 1 dollar for this and it's the same quality as UDPP. I wore this the other night and my eyeshadow was on when I came home 8 hrs later! Will definatley repurchase!
Cleansers -Aveda - Tourmaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser
Catarah 10/3/2010 12:36:00 AM
My boyfriend gave me a gift certificate for spa services and they used this on me. I bought this along with some other products from Aveda. I'm on my second bottle..soon to be third mainly because of my boyfriend constantly using this now!! I was using St.Ives apricot scrub before this and the estectian told me that that is sooo bad for your skin. It's too harsh so she recommended this. It still exfoliates without stripping your face off. The smell is so nice and refreshing too :)...A little pricey at 25 bucks, but if you have a boyfriend that doesnt like to use your things....then def buy it!!
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack
Catarah 10/3/2010 12:30:00 AM
This was my first gel liner and I really love this lately. I have to admit when I first got it, I was using it with my 266 brush. I now bought a 210 and I find myself using this alot more now...because of a BRUSH lol. It's highly pigmented, goes on smooth, and stays on all day! Mine did crack and dry out a tad so I added 2 drops of water and mixed it around..it's as good as new again! Just make sure to close the cap very tight when your done and don't let it sit out...even for a min or two..close it immediately :)
Makeup Brushes -MAC - #210 Precise Eye Liner (Fine Point)
Catarah 10/3/2010 12:24:00 AM
Oh God how I love this brush! Putting on cake/gel eyeliner has never been so much fun or precise until now! I was using the MAC 266 before and although I do like it alot, I just have more control and an overall better result with the 210!!!
