Fragrances -Prada - Prada EDT
ArizonaAngel 10/18/2007 1:11:00 PM
My HG of perfumes!! It is very pricey, $95 for the retro atomizer bottle, but it lasts a long time. It has a sensual, sexy scent that gave me so many compliments. Once I was getting pulled over and the cop even complimented on it! For me, it's more of a night/special occasion perfume because of the scent and the price, but occasionally for a daytime lift I will wear it. I love musky, sensual, oriental scents - and this is definitely all of those.

Hair Color -Clairol - Nice 'n Easy Hair Color
ArizonaAngel 10/18/2007 1:07:00 PM
My all time favorite haircolor! I have been using it for about 7 years now, and now that they changed the formula it is even better. I get highlights without worry (like with Feria, ugh) and it has never dried out my hair. I use a very light color, #98 Extra Light Neutral Blonde. It makes my light/medium brown hair a beautiful shade of light blonde (with highlights!) in just 25 minutes. My hair is also a bit damaged due to having hair extensions for years and it doesn't make it at all worse off. I love the conditioner that comes with it and it makes my hair super shiny. You use a small amount once per week and the tube lasts for a long time. I will buy this product again and again - but the price went up significantly over the years. Now it's about $7 at most stores. Not too bad for the results I get though.

Shampoo -Sunsilk - Summer
ArizonaAngel 10/18/2007 1:02:00 PM
I bought the shampoo and conditioner at Target as I needed something with a UV filter for my color treated hair. I love the scent - it's very summery and refreshing. It cleans pretty good but it did seem to strip my haircolor over time. I had to use too many color refreshers while using this product and I wasn't too keen on that. So for that fact I personally will not buy it again.

Lip Gloss -NARS - Lip Gloss
ArizonaAngel 10/12/2007 2:45:00 PM
I bought this in Orgasm, as it was very popular. I really liked the color, but was not fond of the texture - it seemed a bit too heavy for gloss to me (and I adore lip gloss!!). I use it now by mixing it a bit with a clear shimmer gloss and I like it. I gave it three lippies because of the price and the thickness of the actual product, as it has almost a pastey texture to it which I disliked (as well as my husband, he hated it!). However, I would probably buy again.

Moisturizers -Garnier - Nutritioniste Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream
ArizonaAngel 10/11/2007 9:50:00 PM
I bought this because I needed a new night cream and wanted firming effects, but I saw nothing like that after a month and a half of continuous use. It's pretty heavy going on, sinks in quick, moisturizes really well, but I didn't notice any increase in firmness or anything. But, like I said, it is very hydrating and did not make me break out at all. I would use this for winter skin if it was cheaper, but I paid around $13 for it ~ you can get a great night cream that does the exact same thing from Avon for way less. So, I ditched it and am staying with my Remede one for now.

Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)
ArizonaAngel 10/11/2007 3:28:00 PM
I just do not like it at all. It removes most of my makeup, but I end up having to wash my face again...and I wear minimal foundation, etc. The scent is strange to me, and the price tag is quite high. It doesn't make me break out though, and I use it oonly when I run out of my other face washes. I won't buy again, just didn't 'wow' me.

Treatments -Remede - Complete Treatment- Oily/Active Skin
ArizonaAngel 10/11/2007 3:23:00 PM
I just love this product!! The scent is just amazing, lemony and bright. I needed something for my fine lines as well as something to tame any breakouts and shine - this product fits perfectly! However the $95 price tag is quite a downer, and when my cash is tight I certainly cannot afford to splurge on such an expense. It's light, sinks in quickly and does not make my face feel greasy at all. I use it primarily at night and when I wake up my skin is glowing, smooth and breakout free. I may try using it for daytime too, but because of the price I would like to conserve it. The packaging is great - a glass bottle that is easy to use. Definitely my HG as of right now.

Liquid -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind foundation
ArizonaAngel 10/11/2007 3:12:00 PM
I did not like this foundation at all. The coverage was spotty for me, and wore off quickly in the AZ heat as well as made my face a bit greasy. It didn't make me break out though, which is good, but overall the foundation just isn't worth buying again. Texture was quite nice, creamy and lighter. The scent was quite odd to me as well - kind of chemical in a way. The packaging is decent though.

Masks -Bliss Labs - Steep Clean
ArizonaAngel 10/11/2007 3:07:00 PM
I really like Bliss usually, and this one is no exception. It is a great mask for when my skin gets a bit out of sorts and tames it down. It clears out my pres and makes my skin just look 'fresh' and glowy. I love the scent - quite relaxing and exhilirating at the same time. A bit pricey, but Bliss products usually are. I use it about twice a week at the most as with my combo skin it can overdry.

Lip Gloss -Sally Hansen - Lip Inflation
ArizonaAngel 10/11/2007 3:01:00 PM
Love these!!! I get the clear and the the rose color and they plump my lips just as good or better than more expensive brands. It doesn't sting like some plumpers do but it makes my lips full, glossy and ultra-sexy! Not expensive at all at about $6 a tube, I think these are absolute must haves!!

Foundations -Almay - Almay Pure Blends Mineral Makeup
ArizonaAngel 10/11/2007 2:55:00 PM
Not fond of this one and wish I didn't buy it. The packaging is a nightmare to use - it gets clogged easily. I ended up breaking it open and pouring it into an empty BE jar. The coverage is way too light and the color (light/medium) was odd on my skin - it didn't quite match. I prefer a bit more coverage. However I sometimes use it as a finishing powder as it has a sheen to it, and that's about it. I cannot fathom buying it again as it cost me around $12 at a drugstore - not worth it to me at all, especially without the coverage NOR the shades needed..

Cleansers -Origins - Checks and Balances
ArizonaAngel 10/11/2007 2:50:00 PM
I might buy again. It works great for combo skin but for some reason I always get it in my eyes, which leads to me frantically running around trying to rinse them - it burns like nothing else when I get it in there. However, it left my skin perfect - not dry, not oily, just perfect and ready for my skincare routine. I found I didn't have to use toner while using this product, which is a time and money saver as well. Not too expensive for Origins and the packaging is quite easy to use.

Scrubs -Origins - Modern Friction
ArizonaAngel 10/11/2007 2:46:00 PM
I really love most Origins products, and this one is included. It has a fresh smell to it which I find invigorating and uplifting, although the texture is quite odd...it's grainy and you actually use it on dry skin. If you aren't put off by that give it a try. However the first time I used it my face was as red as a lobsters! I must have overdone it a bit, but I ttried again, as it is a bit pricier, and found it to make my skin absolutely glow. No breakouts too report either. My skin texture became smoother and more even within two weeks time. Not sure if it is ok for sensitive skin, as mine is not - just combination, but worth a try.

Lip Gloss -Avon - Glazewear - ALL SHADES
ArizonaAngel 10/11/2007 2:42:00 PM
I just don'r like Glazewear at all! I wish I did as I tend to like Avon's glosses/lipsticks, but this one is way too heavy for me and the colors are quite unnatural. I gave it a two because for some reason it DOES moisturize a bit, but that's about all it does for me. Unless they at the very least get new shades I will not buy again.

Loose Powders -Coty - Airspun face powder
ArizonaAngel 10/11/2007 2:39:00 PM
My all time favorite loose powder. I have tried so many and always seem to gravitate back to this one. It is really inexpensive and it creates a flawless complexion when applied after makeup - or I found even without makeup for quick minimal coverage. The packaging is a bit annoying, as it tends to open up on me and spill (especially when I am dressed to go out already!) but because of the price (about $5-6) I am ultra forgiving. Mine never seem to come with a large brush so I clean one of the ones I have.
