Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Glo Illuminating Powder - Catwalk Pink #345

I picked this up based on the positive reviews on mu and couldn't wait to try it. Wow. Thanks you guys, this product is amazing!!! I have NC20/25 skin and this highlighter works well with my yellow undertones. I am really impressed with it because it highlights my skin as good better than my BB rose shimmer brick! I like to pair this with my orange and peach toned blushes. I am impressed with this as well as with W&W eye shadow palettes, stellar products for fantastic low prices!
I had hoped this blush would at least be as good or better than Maybelline's dream mousse blushes, but sadly, it's not. I got this in Fresh Pink and it's way too sheer and while the concept of the blush in the pan being "bouncy" is novel, the reality is it's not worth wasting money on. I certainly hope these aren't going to take the place of their dream mousse blushes which are as good or better than high end blushes!!
This gloss was a dismal disappointment. Fortunately, it came with my Naked 2 palette, which I LOVE, but this gloss is worthless. The color is hardly pigmented at all and has no staying power. The only thing it has going for it is the minty vanilla flavor. Try MAC's dazzleglass in Money Honey if you are looking for the perfect gloss to go with Naked 1 or Naked 2 e/s palettes.
Money Honey - love the name! Whoever comes up with the names for MAC and UD m/u and OPI polishes are doing a great job because sometimes I think the catchy names are part of the seduction of these brands! This is a brilliant rosy pink gloss with subtle dewy gold undertones. Money Honey is nicely pigmented and gives my lips personality when I want a little more than a nude lip look worn with dramatic e/s. I have MAC's Dazzleglass in Roman Holiday which I also love. Both of these glosses look amazing worn over MAC's Hug Me lipstick. Money Honey is a unique color that goes well with all the colors in my UD Naked 1 & 2 Palettes. It's the color that I wanted the gloss that came with the Naked 2 palette to be but wasn't. If you are looking for the perfect gloss to go with either one of these palettes, try this! Love it!
I noticed that one of the reviewers said this blush was being discontinued and I hope that isn't the case because I am in love!! I got it today and notice that her review was some time ago, so hopefully they decided not to discontinue it. What can I say that hasn't already been said about this amazing blush? The color is amazingly dewy and soft, a rosy soft pink, yet it has a subtle nude glow unlike any blush I have ever seen before because while it is nude, at the same time it imparts a hint of soft baby pink, perfect for my NC20/25 skin.
This is a staple bone colored e/s with yellow undertones that goes well as a base or brow highlighter with everything. When I can't decide what e/s to wear, for an easy and simple look, I will use this all over my lid with a dark eye liner like UD's Zero or Bourbon or MAC's Minted paired with a bright lipstick like Revlon's Love that Pink or Orange Flip. While there are so many light bone colors out there, Rice Paper is unique in that it has subtle yellow undertones with no shimmer. It's simply gorgeous and a must have because you can dress it up or down and it looks stunning.
Eyeliner -Too Faced - Starry Eyed Liquid Eyeliner in Drunk Dial
singwritenow 2/25/2012 11:52:00 PM
This is the most fun eye liner ever. I have it in Silver Lining as well and on a dreary rainy day or a day whenever I need an instant lift, I reach for one of these liners paired with a sassy hot pink lipstick. Drunk Dial is a bright blue/green teal glitter liner that doesn't bleed or have serious fall out like you might expect from a glitter liner. It looks great worn over MAC's Minted teal eye liner. If you feel you are too old to wear glitter, think again. I am in my 40's and I always get compliments when I wear these liners. Who doesn't need a little glitter in their life? Fun, playful, and flirty, you have to try this!
Ultra vivd, this venonmous green begs to be noticed. It blends well and is unlike any green liner I have ever worn before and worn alone over UD's Sin, Virgin, or MAC's Rice Paper or Vex, Minted makes my blue/gray eys pop. I top it off with Too Face's Starry Eyed teal glitter eye liner in Drunk Dial and it looks simply amazing! While I prefer UD's 24/7 eye liners over MAC because they are more creamy and full proof, this color is to die for and it has long staying power.
Shell is a gorgeous cream highlighter with a peachy beige shimmer that imparts a very natural luminous glow. I don't know why this is considered a blush by MAC because it's NOT a blush! It is a beautiful highlighter though and I love it!
As much as I love the first Naked palette, I love this one better! I have experimented with different looks from my Naked 2 palette for over two weeks now and am convinced that this is the winner, hands down. You guys have done such a fantastic job describing the the colors, so I won't go into detail about color descriptions except to say that my favorite color in the whole palette is YDK with Verve running a close second. YDK is in the running now as my HG e/s of all time along with MAC's Vex because it can be worn alone or mixed and matched with other colors for endless color variations that look smoldering. Blackout is the truest, fiercest black e/s I have ever seen! I really like the double sided e/s brush that comes with it and the tin case that it comes in better than the felt case in the first palette. I also like the larger mirror in this palette compared to the first one. I don't really care for the lip gloss that is included and would rather have a mini primer potion instead. I also wish that a different color would have taken the place of Half Baked since it is in Naked 1 palette. Even with these qualms though, I am still giving this 5 lippies because of the buttery, silky smooth pigmented texture and staying power of the shadows, not to mention the amazing array of colors. The different e/s looks with this palette are endless! Buy it. You won't regret it!
I had a manicure today and chose this color and am in love with it! It is a deep blood red, unabashedly bold and intense, one of the truest reds I have ever seen. Looooove it!
Lipstick -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter - Raspberry Pie
singwritenow 2/23/2012 9:10:00 PM
I will chime in with the other reviewers about how bright and vibrantly pigmented Raspberry Pie is. It is one of the deepest shades of the lip butters and incredibly gorgeous. I think this color would look great on a variety of skin tones. Love it.
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Creme Brulee
singwritenow 2/14/2012 11:34:00 PM
If I wear Creme Brulee alone, it totally washes me out, but I really like to wear it over MAC's Hug Me lipstick for a perfect nude lip. I love the formulation of Revlon lip butters and find them highly addictive!
Lips -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart
singwritenow 2/14/2012 11:22:00 PM
Sweet Tart is a vibrant, bubblegum raspberry pink that is highly pigmented and incredibly gorgeous. I can't stop putting it on because it feels so good on my lips! These lip butters are addictive because they are so fun to look at, to apply, and to wear. The packaging is a gorgeous jewel toned case with a see-through top. What's not to like? Out of the 7 lip butters that I have so far, Sweet Tart is my favorite.
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter - 080 Strawberry Shortcake

I'm completely smitten with Revlon's lip butters! Strawberry Shortcake is a girly, flirty, innocent light sheer wash of nude pink. Love it!
