i was dying to buy this(maleficent of course!),but the purple swatches scared me.however it turned out totally different when i tried it on.a beautiful fuschia with purple reflects.a perfect vibrant yet sweet color.i have always loved the amplified cream finish and this is no exception.it is soft and stays for hours.even when the glosiness fades, the color remains.i feel like this is going to be used a lot by me,so thanks god it is permanent at pro stores
HG pink blush! i usually feel confused about pink blushes.i dont love looking like a barbie doll since i prefer natural looking when it comes to skin.i am fair enough to use it as a blush(and with a light hand).it is between warm and cool tones so will look good on every skin tone.i also love the beauty powder formula, they are much more softer than blushes and give a silky finish.it lasts great too.oh,and that packacing is to die for.
i skipped the spring colour forecast collection, later i saw a tester of it and fell in love.unfortunately they didnt have it anymore.but i found it yesterday! there was only one left in the old collections closet of mac pro store so i got it:) i have light pigmented lips and this looks like a lipstick coverage on me.its pigmented, and has long staying power.even when the color fades, the shimmer stays on.looks extreme with a dark pink or fuschia lippie.i definetely can buy a backup if i see one
i really dont know what to say about this mascara.i am not one of the mac mascara haters but this is really terrible.it absolutely does nothing.blackens the lashes yes but other than that, even 3 coats doesnt show up.and smudges like crazy.i use it with prepprime base which makes the fibre lash a little more effective.it does do some lenghtening so can be used with volumizing mascaras(if u had bought somehow and determined to make it work)
one word: a classic! it is hard to believe that this lippie is around for like 15 years.every woman should have red lips some time and this is a great choice.it surprised me that it looks blood red on me but still not overwhelming or hard to wear.i am very pale and can definetely wear this on daytime.a red that is flattering on almost every skin color.btw it makes person feel good that whether you love this lippie or not,the money you gave goes to a noble organisation
i have combination to oily skin, which gets much more oily on summer times.i dont have acne problems much, the biggest trouble for me is the blackheads.i have been using dermalogica products for two weeks and my skin is not as oily as it used to be.my face is also dry inside so i was a little worried that all those products might get very drying but they didnt.the little break-outs on my forehead started to disappear,so did the ones on my cheeks.i will have to wait some time for the blackheads but if this products helps with them either, then this will become the purchase of my life update:i have been using this mask for about five months, twice a week.it reduces the look of blackheads for sure, and controls them.i know that you cant change your skin type and as long as you have oily skin, the blackheads will be there but this is a perfect product to fight them.my little acnes have disappeared too.i rarely have breakouts(mostly in period times) and they are minimised too.with a complete dermalogica skincare of course!
Shampoo -John Frieda - Frizz-Ease Straight Ahead [DISCONTINUED]

i have totally straight, long and thin hair.due to being thin it can sometimes get frizzy.i use this shampoo for some time(2nd one) and it makes my already straight hair look like a catwalk straightness.and it feels silky, nice product
i am surprised that people are saying this is shimmer-free.it is deffnetely shimmery and actually i cant see the reason why.if a powder is going to be used for setting only,it needs to be transparent.and a highlighter powder must be a lot more "lightening" and pigmented.this is a weird cross between these two.i am not a fan of glowy faces.but i bought two(me and my mum) and i will definetely make it work somehow.i apply it with mac 187 and the shimmer barely shows up unless you look closely.so my opinion is that i could have bought a real setting powder or blot powder since its summer instead of this.it looks like an unnecessary item.but not bad
I first bought some brushes that i dont use often.so i wanted them to be cheaper than mac.i have to say that those brushes are great.I cant see any difference between mac and inglot.i love my make brushes and my opinion is that a good brush is always worth the money, but sometimes brushes(like mac)can get ridicolously expensive.Inglot brushes are from the same factories where mac and shu are produced as i've heard.all my brushes could have been from inglot if i had discovered them earlier.
i am not much of a pencil person,i always prefer eyeliners but a girl always needs a black pencil.it is totally black and very soft, easy to apply.my extra sensetive eyes didnt show and reaction when i used iit n the waterline.and i am surprised that so many people say that it is not longlasting.of course a pencil never can be as trong as an eyeliner but this one definetely stick where you put it.i have extremely oily eyes(no paint pot, tfsi, setting powder etc works on me) and still it stays for hours.i will run to buy it again when necessary
i love it for being a natural highlighter on me.my eye area always needs some touch up even when i dont wear any make up.i can use this one with a light brush in the tear duck area mostly and the results turn out as the way expected.natural, sheer but definetely highlighted.those colors can be very different according to usage and skin color and i sometimes think that cheaper brands' colors in this area are great either,so no need to spend so much money if this is not exactly what you are looking for
i have just got it today.color is nice and i have always liked the satin finish.lasting power is great and i dont find it drying on my lips.i loved it until 5 minutes ago,i discovered that i have the exact same shade in ysl:/ well my solace is that, spirit still lasts longer
this one is pure magic! i use it on dark, mostly matte eyeliners and the results are always perfect.i am not a big fan of glitter but rtt turns classic eyeliners/shadows/sticks into shimmery dreams when i want to add something different to my make up.i dont think that i can finish a pigment jar ever so buying again doesnt seem necessary
this one gives me a pale nude look, more beige with little orange hint.i loved that, this one was definetely what i was looking for.i bought it 2 weeks ago and i didnt want to use any other lipstick/gloss.so i will run out of it sometime and definetely buy again.the only outcome is that like all the lustre lipsticks, this one doesnt last very long,at least on me
Makeup Brushes -MAC - #187 Duo Fiber Face Brush (Stippling, Skunk Brush)
nekroze 5/10/2010 10:18:00 AM
i can spend the rest of my life with this brush.it is pure perfect, the high price tag made me consider a little before buying it but it worths every penny.and since this brushes can be used for years,it is a fair trade.i use it for liquid foundation, cream foundation,loose/pressed powders, msf and blushes..what i admire is no matter how much product i use it always gives a natural and professional loo,and never creates a cakey face.i got the smaller size too, which i use often with cream blushes,ccb..everything nearly.i dont think i might have to buy it again, since well caring of a mac brush makes it usable eternally
