With winter coming on so is the dry skin. I decided to give this a try based on all the good reviews and the fact that I really like the moisturizer and pm versions of CeraVe. This is a lovely cream, Ive been using on legs, arms and body. It feels a bit thick at first but doesn't take long at all to sink in and my skin has benefited from the product. Often I will be completely dry from one application of moisture to the next, but that is not the case with this cream. My skin stays very hydrated and smooth. Lovely product ;)
Spotted this at TJ and decided to give it a try. Really impressive, gentle yet effective shampoo for color treated hair. I use with the Color Endure Conditioner and am very pleased. My hair is very shiney, easy to blow dry and in very good condition since using these two products combined. (it was very dry and brittle from previous brand. My hair is just past shoulders, layered, somewhat fine. I blow straight with round brush) Really lovely product.
Saw this at TJ and thought I'd give it a try. Wow, it is amazing. Leaves my color treated hair conditioned, smooth and shiney without adding any weight or build up. So funny because my Mom has been telling me to try this for a long time but I never did until now. A really lovely product.
This is hands down the one product I use on my hair that I absolutely love. I don't buy it often so it's a real treat when I do. I blow dry hair with a round brush, when I use Ciment Thermique it's so easy to do my hair seems to fall into place perfectly and looks so shiny and vibrant. (hair is just past shoulders, layered, somewhat fine, slight wave) I don't like the feel of hairspray or other products in my hair so I don't use them. This product doesn't have any weight or feel to it at all, definately HG ;)
Decided to give this a try and I must say I like it. Nice light coverage (buildable if more is preferred), color match is good for me (which is rare), covers imperfections (redness) but doesn't feel to thick on the skin. I haven't worn much makeup since last winter so it's nice to wear foundation that feels nice on the skin. Adding, the only drawback is the foundation comes off on my phone and scarves, I really dislike that ;(
Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Bielenda-Milk Toner for Mature Skin

I was at TJ's and found this, after reading ingredients I decided to purchase, after using 1 week I went back to purchase another one, it's that good on my skin. It's a very gentle milky cleanser/toner that removes makeup and ss without leaving my skin feeling as if product is left behind. It really leaves my skin moist and glowy, my mature dry skin loves this product. Will return later to post ingredients
Treatments -Beyond Belief - Vita C Antioxidant Serum

Decided to give this a try and I have to say I'm happy so far. The price is great for a serum, not as moisturizing as others I've tried but thats o.k. I believe I'm getting better results from this than my last C serum in terms of my skin is looking a bit more evened out in color.
Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Dickinson's Witch Hazel

ran out of store brand and this was on sale so I picked it up. 16 oz, nice large size. I have to say I love witch hazel as a toner, used it summertime with no drying issues. I have noticed as the temps are getting cooler my skin is getting a little dryer so I may use only am for winter. Great product. Update: I believe witch hazel is somewhat problematic for my rosacea and tends to bring on the redness ;(
Another product purchased due to great reviews. I didn't really think my skin would like this as it does have 14% alcohol and my skin is very dry. Having said that I was pleasantly surprised, my skin loves this. Using after cleansing twice daily and it leaves my skin ready for products, also of note my foundation seems to go on better when I use this. DH started using after shaving and he no longer has the redness that was so typical after shaving. DD using now as well and she is having great success with less breakouts. I'd say HG! Update: after developing rosacea is seems witch hazel is not a good choice for my skin ;(
Eyes -Unlisted Brand - Smart Sense Rinse Free Eyelid Wipes

Happened to see these at K-Mart (I believe it's their brand). They are preservative free and hypoallergenic and work great on my bleph. Still have to cleanse twice daily and these do a great job, no drying of my eyelids as some of the other brands have caused. Even though it's rinse free I still rinse do to the nature of the delicate eye area. Comes in a box of 30 single packed. Last doc visit he said they must be working as my bleph is currently under control. Box says it can be used for makeup removal but I haven't worn eyemakeup since using them so can't say if they do or not. Gentle, very nice product.
Lip Gloss -Unlisted Brand - Jen's Sanatio Skin Care Bella Rosa Honey Mint Gloss
loveoutdoors 9/28/2011 11:46:00 AM
Picked up this lip gloss at a local health food store and I really like it. Has a slight pepermint smell but it leaves as soon as you apply. Light pink gloss, no shimmer. I usually apply a natural color pencil then this gloss and it looks lovely and stays on well for a gloss. It's made locally but online at www.sanatioskincare.com
Another product I had to try based on all the good reviews. Tap in around eye area when extra moisture is needed, actually use on other areas of face and neck as well. Lovely, absorbs in, does not sit on top of skin. The packaging of this product is superb, 1 oz in amber glass container and the top allows only a drop out at a time, super! 7/2012 I've had to cut back using this on my under eye area. I was getting a bit of brown spotting. I can't really use ss close to my eyes because they flip out if I do so I will discontinue use until fall.
Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - NOW Solutions 100% Natural Shea Butter
loveoutdoors 9/28/2011 10:46:00 AM
After reading all the good reviews about shea butter I decided to give it a go. Wow, for me it is a lifesaver. When I'm incredibly dry (which happens often) I put a small amount in my palm and warm it up (soften) then put wherever extra moisture is needed, even ok on under eye area. I will be using this often this winter, a really lovely product.
Treatments -Jason Natural Cosmetics - Ester-C C-Lite Skin Tone Balancer

Just starting to get relief from skin woes so I wanted to add a mild vitamin c back into my regimine and this fits the bill. Lightweight moisturizer used under regular moisturizer. Not a lot of product for the money but the packaging is nice w/a pump so no waste. All in all a nice product.
Picked this up as my skin was really acting up and needed some extra moisture, nice product. Easy to apply makeup on top w/no issues. Not sure if it will be enough for winter, will probably have to add to it but a nice product overall. Adding, just discovered this lotion dries to a matte finish, even when applied over oil. It makes application of makeup so much nicer.
