Eyeliner -Clinique - Quickliner for Eyes in Dark Chocolate
gimmeglamour 1/5/2008 8:49:00 AM
Love this liner. I usually only wear black e/l, because every brown e/l I've tried comes out wayy too light.. But, I really liked this one, it was actually true to it's name.. it is the exact color it says Dark Chocolate, imagine one of the Hershey's dark chocolate bars, and there is the color. Goes on very smooth, and lasted all day for me. Got this as a sample, and would definately buy once the sample runs out.
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Glosswear for lips in Air Kiss

Perfect pink lip gloss, that goes on great, and stays pretty well. It looks amazing over Clinique's Long Wearing l/s in Luster.
Bath Treatments -Caress - Moisturizing Body Wash -- Berry Indulging
gimmeglamour 1/5/2008 8:37:00 AM
I love the Caress body washes, they are cheap, and smell great. Yes, it's true about the lathering part, but it doesn't really matter when you get two large bottles for $6.. That's less than most of the body washes I used to use, that did the same thing for me, and maybe took just a little less to get a good lather up. I'm not picky with body washes, as long as they smell good, and don't break me out.. and this one fulfilled my needs so I'm happy with it, and will continue to buy Caress body washes & this one too I'm sure in the future.
People have been talking about this for years, and that's how long it's been since I wore Lip Smackers.. I'm always sharing the best m/u tips & products with my SO's little sister (she's 10), & she lovess her Lip Smackers.. everytime I see her using them I always tell her to check out Dr. Pepper, cause I heard it was soo good. Well, last night I took her to Target & she ran for the Lip Smackers, pointing out Dr. Pepper.. she ended up getting their Skittles l/g, but I grabbed Dr. Pepper for a wopping $1.67.. and I loveee it! Finally I tried it, and overnight it's become my HG lip product. It's all I really need, it keeps my lips moisturized all day long, and smells great.. so, I have no complaints with this one, and when I run out, I'll be running back for more :)
I hate to break the 100%, but this did nothing for me. It was actually the 1st foundation I ever put on, that I couldn't wait to take off. It seemed very, very watery to me.. If anything, I think it made my skin look worse.. The coverage, is light to medium, but it brought out my imperfections more than hiding them. I was so excited when I found this, I put it on in the parking lot, (over my Bare Minerals), and I thought it looked great, & then after getting home & washing my face, I applied again.. and I hated it. I don't know what was different for me, from the other reviewers.. it could just be me. One thing I do give it, is that when it's on, it does look pretty natural, not cakey, or anything.. but, IMO like I said before I thought it brought out the few zits on my face. I think I'm just too spoiled by Bare Minerals, cause it works so well for me.. Anyways, I would not buy again, and I regret paying $9 for such a tiny bottle of crap :( But, I'm not returning, because I might give this another chance sometime & see that it works.. I'll update this, if that happens.
I loveeee this eye shadow. In the pan it looks like a boring matte brown, (even though it's a satin, it's more matte IMO), but on paired with Shroom on the lid & brow bone, I put this in the crease, and I'm ready to go. My eyes look perfect for work, or if I add more Coquette they look great for night. It takes a minute, because it goes on so smoothly, and is very blendable. I really like this & it's a definite +++ that it matches my brows perfectly.. not to mention, it matches almost everyone elses that I've used it on! Great e/s, definately a staple in my m/u bag.. will definately be repurchasing!
Really pretty rusty color, that sparkles. I bought this, because when looking at all the e/s at the MAC counter, it stands out as the prettiest one IMO. It really made my blue eyes pop. Everytime I wear this I get compliments.. Can be worn on the eye alone, or as a countouring color. All around great shadow & I would definately buy again. Gave it only 4 lippies, because I was expecting more of a sparkly look from it, but didn't get that from it. It's still a great color.
I don't understand why this got such a low rating??? I apsolutely love this lipstick, and I'm usually not a big lipstick fan.. in fact I never wear it.. I own maybe 3, that I rarely use.. However, I had been looking for one recently, because I was growing tired of the stickiness of l/g.. I heard great raves for this one the m/u board, so I went ahead and purchased it. It was love at first sight using it, I started using it EVERY SINGLE DAY, and my m/u just wouldn't look good w/out it. I'm an NW20 for reference, & this is a pinkish with gold tones in it. It is very moisturizing, and stays put for awhile. Saddest part is I misplaced it & am dying without it, so I'll have to repurchase asap.
I really liked this. Underage is a pale nudey with a touch of pink lip gloss, that goes great with smokey eyes. The pros, it's a really pretty nude lip color, which I reallllly have been using up lately. Cons, it is a tad gooey, and should be applied when in front of a mirror, not on the go.. It does tend to form that white line around the lips, so I think it's important to apply it over a good lipstick. I realllly like this color, so it kind of makes me overlook some of the other flaws. I'm sure if I ran out, I'd be repurchasing.
Blush -Revlon - A Floral Affair Sheer Powder Blush - Peachy Keen [DISCONTINUED]

I loveeee Revlon! & especially these new LE blushes, they are sooo pretty and even if they are DS, they are HE quality IMO. I love how this color goes perfectly on my cheeks and makes my skin glow. I apply it with an EOB blush countour brush and apsolutely love the way it looks. Since I bought this a week and a half ago, I've noticed myself opting to use it, rather than any of my NARS or other HE blushes. This stuff is amazing, love the color pay off, and wish it wasn't LE so that I could repurchase later on. Can't wait to try the other colors :)
Tinted Moisturizer -Stila - Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer
gimmeglamour 12/17/2007 1:01:00 PM
Thank god I got this as a free sample. I have never had good luck with any of Stila's face products, but after my last Sephora purchase I got this as a free sample & decided to try it out. Before using with amazing results from Murad skincare my skin was finally free of acne, zits, and looked healthy and problem free. After only 2 uses my clear skin was a mess, and I broke out all over my chin and the sides of my cheeks. I will never buy this, and I threw it away immediately. It didn't improve the look of my skin, and only made it feel really greasy and an oily mess. If you are acne prone, I definately would not reccommend this. If you aren't & have dry skin, your results might be different. This just wasn't for me..
Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipgloss- Cherries in the Glow [DISCONTINUED]
gimmeglamour 12/17/2007 12:55:00 PM
This was the first reddish type l/g I ever bought, and I bought it strictly thinking of the holidays, but now I love wearing it everyday! It is such a pretty color, and I've gotten sooo many compliments with it. Everytime I do someones m/u for a holiday party, or event I use this & they too get constant compliments. I am a huge fan of the Revlon l/g's, and prefer them over HE brands.. They are really true to their color and last, without giving the white line around the lips. This l/g cured my fears of darker glosses, and now I'm ready to try the other darker colored Revlon glosses. This is a definite must have!
Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipgloss - Nude Lustre
gimmeglamour 12/17/2007 12:51:00 PM
I loveeeee this l/g!! I used to only buy HE l/g's, until I discovered the Revlon ones, & I love them all soo much. This matches my NW20 skin tone perfectly, and is such a prettu, fresh color. I like it better than NARS Turkish Delight, because it's not as sticky & lasts much, much longer without giving me the white line around my lips. I don't think I'll be buying NARS l/g for awhile now that I've discovered these. This is my new HG nude l/g! Will definately be buying again :)
Lip Gloss -Isadora - Express Star Gloss in Reflecting Cherry
gimmeglamour 12/17/2007 11:57:00 AM
SO's mom bought this one when she discovered Isladora's huge discount sale at Walgreens from going out of business. So, she picked this one up for $2.49! I realllllly love it, especially for the holidays. It's a pretty plummy color with multi-colored glitter, that's just subtle enough to not stand out from far away, so I can wear it at the office, but up close looks gleaming. Really like this, gave 4 lippies because I didn't like the stickiness.. besides that color stays, and looks great.
I really like this, it's a great touch to my holiday m/u and glides on really smooth. Lasts all day too. I wear it under my Hip gel liner in Teal, and it makes the color of the gel look a bit more christmasy green. Good quality & cheap price, will be repurchasing.
