Beautiful wood with some spices. Definitely not for men only. Fragrantica classifies it was wood, spicy, warm, aromatic and slightly sweet; yes, it's all of that. My only complaint would be regarding persistence and sillage. It's indeed a pick-me-up spray and not an EdP.

Perhaps the richest, smoothest spice fragrance I've tried. Incredible, delicious, but not something that makes you feel as if you smeared a curry over yourself (e.g., SL's Arabie). It's listed as a masculine scent, but I think it's firmly unisex and extremely wearable for everyone.

At first, it was reminiscent of Dune; very dry. However, afterwards, it's a lot like Vanilla Fields or Shalimar. The vanilla is just overwhelming on my skin. Notes, per Luckyscent: Coriander, Petitgrain (Bitter orange), Lemon, Bergamot, Jasmin, Cistus, Bourbon, Geranium, Cedarwood, Vetiver, Vanille, Patchouli and Ambergris

An explosion of black pepper in the topnotes, followed by...rubber? We can also detect incense, cedarwood and what we believe is cardamom. I wear masculine fragrances, but this skews completely masculine.

Delightfully weird and modern in the manner of M/Mink and Dzing. Rubber was the primary note for a while; now getting the masking tape. However, there's also a very human scent in there, along with a couple flowers peeking out. Notes, from Luckyscent: aldehydes, hawthorn, lilac, flower oxides, notes of industrial glue and brown scotch tape, musk, stryax

It is juicily orange in the beginning, with notes of moss and cumin peeking out. Eventually, it dries down primarily to the moss and cumin. Very nice! Especially if you view it as a summer cologne, since it's rather light. It's a fragrance that's hard to forget.

Incredible, compelling fragrance. It opens with a blast of outdoorsy green and then becomes the most compelling incense fragrance I've ever sampled. Lots of incense, but also wood and spices. It's a very calming fragrance.

This starts out extremely masculine with a little too much cypress and black pepper. I couldn't detect any bergamot, which is also listed as a topnote for this fragrance. However, when the baies rose orpur and Thuya wood appear and combine, it is quite beautiful. It has good persistence too. Too bad the topnotes aren't as beautiful.

Stunning, creamy, beautiful white flowers. Wow. And I thought I didn't like osmanthus.

What a gagging blast of green in the topnotes. A scrubber.

A sheer, watery gardenia. Watery as in the note, not as in "watered down". It smells pretty realistic. It's nice for when you want gardenia but not a full-on Billy Holiday sultriness. Notes per TPC: gardenia, magnolia, jasmine sambac, Indonesian champaca, lemon, perilla leaves (Japanese shiso), ginger and sandalwood.

Definitely a sweet, candy-like scent that would be perfect for tweens, but not so much for adults.

I am totally not getting all the strange notes mentioned in the reviews below. I've just finished going through 13 samples of gardenia fragrances and came across quite a few that had strange top notes, from the vegetal to menthol. Ick. It did have some of that indolic, mushroomy note on top for a few minutes, reminding me of loam, but it dissipates pretty quickly. Detected zero spice notes. This fragrance is a beautiful, heavy-with-scent, lush gardenia. It takes me back South. sigh Sultry, ultra-feminine, smooth.....all of that. Not for the timid; not for the office either. ETA: Lowered this to a four because, although it's incredible, it hangs around way too long (through several showers). At this point, I'm wondering what's in this for that kind of longevity. It made me a little nauseous during a long car ride also.

What a great scent! Much softer than I thought it would be with all those spices. They're there to add interest. However, it's greatly smoothed out by the lotus flower, white chocolate and sandalwood. I think this is more for warm weather than cold. This would be a "4" except for its lack of sillage.

Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Taste of Fragrance Womanity

Much, much better than the original Womanity, which was a scrubber for me. The fig chutney addition really saves this fragrance. However, it's a little on the too-fruity side now. Just can't win with Womanity, I guess.
