Eye Shadow -Chanel - Les 4 Ombres - 74 Nymphea Quad
rated 3 of 5

Overall I like this little pallette. (Christmaspresent: tyvm mum!) It contains a champagne color, a green with a golden shimmer, a pink with golden shimmer and a dark brown. The colors are simply beautifull with a very chique finish. They are easy to blend and are pretty pigmented. The champagne color makes a good highlighter too. Surprisingly enough, the aplicators are quite sturdy too. I tend to have bad experience with aplicators like that. The reason I took off 2 lippies is because if you don't use a base they only last a couple of hours and because it's expensive. I wouldn't buy it again because I think price-quality considered there are better products out there. I can't say I regret having it either though, because I do like it! If you're a luxury girl who likes fancy brands then you WILL like this, but if you're more the "just give me good quality for a good price" girl then I would leave this pallette.

Toners -RoC - Dermatologic Purif-AC Exfoliating Lotion
rated 5 of 5
Xdevilisious 6/7/2009 1:31:00 PM

This has to be my favorite toner ever. I won't say it does miracles for the skin but it does what it has to do: it neatly removes the last bits of makeup, makes my skin feel less tight and keeps my pores clean. Other toners I have tried either left me wondering if I was just putting water on my face and others broke me out or irritated my skin because they were too aggressive. this one simply does everything you expect from a toner, nothing more, nothing less and I love it <3

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Bebe relaxing care day & night cream
rated 5 of 5
Xdevilisious 5/17/2009 6:09:00 AM

I'm down to my 3rd jar of this. This is my HG night cream and it doesn't even cost 5 euros! I can't buy this in my own country but I always stock up when I visit Germany. Normally I prefer "luxury" moisturizers on my face (clinique, chanel, ...) but when I tried this one out of necessity on holiday.... I fell in love! It's cheap, smells nice, good structure and when I wake up in the morning my skin feels so incredibly soft! It also reduced the amount of spots I had. I don't use this as a daycream because then I need something more mattifying but for people with normal skin this must be a perfect daycream too! Definetly worth HG status <3

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Bebe Young Care Mild Foaming cleanser (Milder Reinigungsschaum)

Alas, not for sale in my own country but I ALWAYS buy this when I visit germany. It takes off make up very well but it's not a harsh product. It sort of reminds me of the Vichy Oligo 25 foam. I can't really add anything more except that this is a great product at a great price!

Self Tanners -Unlisted Brand - Collistar Crema autoabronzante body-legs
rated 4 of 5
Xdevilisious 5/17/2009 5:56:00 AM

This has been my favorite selftanner for years. There might be better ones out there but I got this one when selftanning was fairly new and after alot of bad experiences (orange skin, looking like a giraffe, ...) I found this one and stuck with it ever since. Structure: A white cream, smears out very well and has the classic seltannerscent to it. You don't need alot either. It does leave a bit of a film on your skin afterwards. Packaging: A simple tube. Very handy and hygienic. It's a 125 ml one and it lasts pretty long with me. Tan: I always selftan in the evening and the next morning I'm always in love with my newly gained tan. It's a very natural, subtle tan if you do one layer. If you do it again the day after it becomes more tan but still remains natural. The tan remains about 5 days with me if I don't do vigorous scrubbing, and easily a week (without giraffespots!) if I use a bodylotion with a low amount of selftanner in it. Overall: I'm giving it a 4 because it leaves a bit of a film and I don't like the selftannersmell (although i guess all selftanners have that problem). I will definetly repurchase though and this has been my favorite selftanner for 3 years now! Good product for a natural tan!

Lipstick -Unlisted Brand - Collistar Rossetto Vibrazioni Di Colore 22 Rosa Azalea
rated 5 of 5
Xdevilisious 5/16/2009 6:13:00 AM

Texture: Unlike the topgloss sticks this one is a "real" lipstick. It's quite moisturising and goes on smoothly. Scent: I can't really detect a scent on this lipstick. Color: This is a very bright pink but not a barbie kind of pink. It seems to have a bit of a blue undertone (not shimmer or anything!) in it making it look a bit frosty. It also has a bit of shimmer in it so this is not a matte lipstick. If you have blue eyes this is a very nice color cause with me it seems to make them look aloooot more blue than usual. Packaging: the packaging is a bit different than the topgloss stick ones. It still resembles a tulip but slightly different and instead of pink it's a deep red color. It looks very chique and is again an eyecatcher. Only thing i like less is that it wobbles a bit when you put it down cause its not entirely flat at the bottom. Staying power: This has better staying power than the topgloss sticks because its a "real" lipstick. This easily stays put half a day with me (especially with a little dash of gloss on top) and survives drinking and eating without too many problems. Overall: again a lovely collistar product. this isn't a color i'll wear easily during the day but it's a really good color for going out or if you're one of those persons who doesn't mind wearing bright make up during the day. It got me alot of compliments.

Lipstick -Unlisted Brand - Collistar topgloss stick 8 Lampone Perlato
rated 4 of 5
Xdevilisious 5/16/2009 6:03:00 AM

Texture: The topgloss stick is a mix between lipgloss and lipstick. The texture is very moisturising and goes on smoothly. Scent: The scent is a gentle vanilla one and it reminds me of the MAC TLC's. Color: The name means something like "pearly raspberry". At first I was scared to try this one because if you open the package it looks like a very dark, deep red and I don't tend to look good with that. It also has more obvious shimmer in it than the other 2 topgloss sticks I have. However, when I put this on, I fell in love. It gives off quite alot of color and it's still a deep red but somehow it remains subtle. The shimmer isn't over the top either when you put this on. It just makes your lips look shiny and kissable. Packaging: This is what I like most about this product. This is not one of those products you keep in your toiletbag, hidden from all daylight. This is something you want to put on your desk to show off to your friends. It sort of reminds me of a tulip. It's both gorgeous and convenient! Staying power: Alas, this is the only thing that could have been better in my opinion. Since it's a mix between a gloss and a lipstick it has less staying power than most lipsticks. It still beats lipgloss by far though. I have to touch up about every couple of hours if I don't touch anything with my lips, but sooner if i eat/drink. Cause of the gorgeous scent and texture I don't mind though. Overall: this is the first red lipstick I bought without regretting it afterwards. This is one of my favorite colors to wear while going out. I think this one is particulary pretty on blondes. Will definetly repurchase!

Lipstick -Unlisted Brand - Collistar topgloss stick 9 Rosa Pesca
rated 4 of 5
Xdevilisious 5/16/2009 5:56:00 AM

Texture: The topgloss stick is a mix between lipgloss and lipstick. The texture is very moisturising and goes on smoothly. Scent: The scent is a gentle vanilla one and it reminds me of the MAC TLC's. Color: The translation for this color is "pink peach" and it describes it rather well. It's something between pink and peach, not orange but not bright pink either. I would say its more orange than pink though so it's a warm color, not a cold one. For me this is the perfect summer shade. It's very subtle but yet you do see you have something on your lips. I usually wear this or Rosa Baby to class. This one gets me the most compliments though. It's a very natural and lovely color. I have to touch up about every couple of hours if I don't touch anything with my lips, but sooner if i eat/drink. Cause of the gorgeous scent and texture I don't mind though. Overall: A lovely product by Collistar, in my eyes no downsides which justify taking away a lippy. If you're looking for a peachy, subtle, perfect-with-anything summercolor then you should definetly give this one a try!

Lipstick -Unlisted Brand - Collistar topgloss stick 10 Rosa Baby
rated 4 of 5
Xdevilisious 5/16/2009 5:49:00 AM

I was amazed that there was only one Collistar product reviewed untill now. Collistar has to be my favorite "luxury" brand! Texture: The topgloss stick is a mix between lipgloss and lipstick. The texture is very moisturising and goes on smoothly. Scent: The scent is a gentle vanilla one and it reminds me of the MAC TLC's. Color: The color on this one is a very light baby pink, subtle and perfect for during the day. It shines a little bit as if it's a lipstick with a subtle layer of gloss on top of it. Packaging: This is what I like most about this product. This is not one of those products you keep in your toiletbag, hidden from all daylight. This is something you want to put on your desk to show off to your friends. It sort of reminds me of a tulip. It's both gorgeous and convenient! It still beats lipgloss by far though. I have to touch up about every couple of hours if I don't touch anything with my lips, but sooner if i eat/drink. Cause of the gorgeous scent and texture I don't mind though. Overall: This is a LOVELY product, there are no real downsides. I already have 3 top gloss sticks and I love each and every single one of them. Will definetly repurchase!

Lip Treatments -MAC - Tinted Lip Conditioner - Gentle Coral
rated 2 of 5
Xdevilisious 3/30/2009 4:45:00 AM

After using the mac tlc petting pink for a couple of weeks and being very happy with it, i decided to try another color: this one. the scent is the same, a very subtle vanillascent. it also does some decent lipmoisturing. when i first applied this i was wowwed. such an amazing color! the perfect coral! (subtle and yet very visible). however: when i looked into the mirror after what wasnt even half an hour, i saw that the color wasnt even anymore... it had gone into the tiny lines in my lips (not around them) and most of it was already gone. because the color isnt as subtle as petting pink this really stood out and it wasn't a nice view. i retried several times with the same results, the staying power of this product just isnt any good! now i use this at night so i dont have to waste my beloved petting pink for that. i won't repurchase. my advise if you wanted a nice coral color: get a decent lipstick in this shade. the 2 lippies i gave are for the nice scent and moisturingcapacities.

Lip Treatments -MAC - Tinted Lip Conditioner - Petting Pink
rated 5 of 5
Xdevilisious 3/22/2009 8:31:00 AM

Hellooooo new HG. This is an absolutely lovely lip conditioner. It makes my lip feel soft and smooth. The color is very natural. It adds a bit of shine but not as much as a gloss and it's just an easy-go color you can wear with any make up. Since I bought this i carry this around with me everywhere I go. the only downside is the packaging, I don't like applying stuff with my fingers, but I feel that if you wash your hands every now and then it's allright. Will soon be purchasing gentle coral aswell.

Makeup Brushes -GOSH - Brush
rated 2 of 5
Xdevilisious 3/22/2009 5:56:00 AM

Edit: also bought the slanted eyeshadow brush and the stippling brush. the eyeshadow brush works very well for me. it's good for applying liquid eyeliner or eyeshadow under the lid. this brush i will rebuy if i ever lose it or ruin it! the stippling brush is a dissapointment. I read all the wonderfull reviews about it and although i already owned the MAC 187 i decided to try it. it is NOT comparable to the MAC 187. As another reviewer already said the 187 is firmer and the bristles are shorter, which makes it waaaay more precise to work it. also, this brush sheds! my mac has shedded exactly 2 hairs in 3 months work! so please, ladies, don't buy this one, just save up for the mac 187, even though its more expensive it's well worth the quality you get! I'm writing a review on the blush brush. I'll keep it short by saying that the hairs started falling out on day 2. I'm now a week ahead and i have about half my brush left :) It's not my fault because I have other brushes and they don't do that. Reading all the good reviews above I'm starting to wonder if I simply had bad luck with my brush, but seeing how crappy it was I'm not really tempted to try another.

Crème -Clinique - Skin Smoother
rated 2 of 5
Xdevilisious 2/15/2009 10:49:00 AM

Edit: I took of 2 lippies. after using this for a couple of days I started noticing that this doesn't just make my skin look dull, but also a bit dry and flakey. I have oily-combined skin so that's not suposed to happen to me. Shame because I really liked it at first. I have to admit... (and when it comes to admitting this to clinique it's hard for me cause I generally HATE that brand)... this is an excellent foundation! I have what I like to call "crater"pores because they're not just visible, they're actually huge. I also have some minor scars from when I still had acné. Now that you know how hard my skin is to get flawless I can start reviewing this. (I also must admit I didn't buy this, I just nicked alot of samples LOL) 1. Structure: this is something between a liquid foundation and a mousse. It goes on smooth and only fades slightly during the day. 2. Packaging: a tube (I don't like these cause the little hole tends to clog... but since I got samples I can't say if it's bad or not) 3. Coverage: it's very decent but it doesn't actually cake onto your face and feels quite light. When I applied a bit of this, my pores were ALOT less visible (keep in mind mine are huge, if you only have slightly visible pores this will make your skin absolutely flawless). Also those minor scars seem to have vanished. The nicest part about this is that it doesn't actually look as if you have make up on because you can't really see it on your skin. 4. So why does this product only get a 4 if it's oh so great? Well: I admit it does a great job on your pores but at the same time it also makes your skin look a little bit dull. This is nothing that can't be solved with some highlighter and stuff but I'm used that my foundation already has a bit of a glow to it (I'm a diehard double wear fan) Overall: Well clinique (although I still hate all your other products except your 7 day scrub) I must admit this is a job well done! This is the first pore minimizing product I got that actually does what it says. I could definetly recommend this product to people who want to make their pores alot less visible without too much of an effort.

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear Light SPF10
rated 5 of 5
Xdevilisious 1/30/2009 3:49:00 AM

Well, the packaging is definetly better than the packaging from the original formula. It gives pretty good coverage and will cover redness and small spots. Compared to the original one, the coverage is less good, but still better than most foundations I've tried. I have the lightest shade which is good for me. Again a bit dissapointed that they don't have many shades.

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear (old formula)
rated 5 of 5
Xdevilisious 1/30/2009 3:47:00 AM

Great foundation IMHO. It really covers EVERYTHING and will stick to your face no matter what. In the winter I use the lightwear formula, because it feels better on my skin, but in the summer it's always the original. I can sweat, swim, walk in the sun, whatever I want to do, and my make up will still look great after hours. Only shame is that they have so little shades and I HATE the packaging, but I have depotted it and put it in one of my old moisturejars.
