I got this as a X-Mas gift I had mentioned it to my fiance' and amazingly he found me a bottle. I have been in love with Monoi products from hair butter to other oils I have really found this product to be a very important part of my beauty routine. This oil has a lighter Tiare scent but is delicious none the less. i use it on my face because it's been getting so dry with this cold weather. It absorbs so well into my skin and takes away all the dryness and peeling that Retin A can cause with the cold. I use this anywhere I have a dry spot and it's fantastic. I love the flower in the bottle it's a little bit of a pain because if you want to use it on your hair you don't want to pour it. So I dab out a little bit at a time. It makes my hair smell so good and soft.It's a great refresher for the hair as well. I have been using Monoi in my hair for years now but this oil from NARS is just excellent. It's not as heavy as other products I have used. Also the benefits of coconut oil are well known especially for the hair and skin. This product makes my skin baby soft with no breakouts and I have acne prone skin. I find it to be quite soothing actually. I highly recommend this because it is an excellent oil. For your face,elbows,hair, even as a perfume or base before a body glow like NARS has is perfect for this. Easy 5 lippie product and a must try because it has so many excellent uses. Will buy again but I have barely made a dent a little goes a long way so it is worth the money because it lasts so long.

Cleansers -Caudalie - Cleansing Water

Wow this is an excellent cleanser. It really does clean your skin but is so gentle on sensitive skin like mine. I use RA so I have really sensitive skin now and this product is just amazing. I use it sometimes when I'm lazy before bed to remove my eye makeup because I can't stand having it on when I'm sleeping. Mind you I'm a mascara junkie and I use a lot! This cleanser get's it all off with no irritation. That's what amazes me is that it feels so good on your skin and does the job. I keep mine in a cool place because it feels so good on my eyes when the water is cooler.I would say if I don't want to wash my face before bed with 5 cotton balls my whole face is done and clean. I do not think that's bad because of how much makeup I wear. Plus you only need a small amount for it to cleanse your skin. My skin feels so soft and hydrated not stripped of anything which I really like. I apply moisturizer and to bed I go. When I do wash my face at night I will use this in the A.M. to freshen my skin before I apply makeup. It cleans so well that sometimes I don't have to wash my face as often. This is great because the more I wash it the more dryness I have to deal with from the weather and the Retin.So this helps mitigate that. I really recommend this product to girls with all types of skin. It works so well I can't see myself using any other cleansing water because this stuff is soo good! Ladies get this you will not be disappointed it has not made me breakout in fact it has helped against them because normally if you don't get all your makeup off you can breakout. With this you really get clean skin. And for me no breakouts. This is really a must try item because it just is that good in my opinion. I recommend this very highly and I will repurchase this without a doubt.

Moisturizers -Ren - Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream

I actually need a moisturizer without sunscreen because I use BB Cream with a very high SPF also I don't always leave my house so I'm not going to put sunscreen on if I don't need it. I would say to sensitive skin girls give this a try. I love this cream it has made my skin so hydrated and is perfect under my Skin79 Gold. I find that my skin tone has evened out. It's not red like it used to be. Plus I use RA at night and putting this on in the A.M. after I wash my face is so soothing. It says it's used to hydrate,calm,and protect from free radicals or whatever gross pollution is in the air. I think the 1st reviewer doesn't realize that some women do not want every moisturizer to have an SPF. I don't think it's "old" to use a cream without SPF because some people like myself cannot tolerate a ton of it on my face. I don't need double protection unless I'm going where i need it. Plus since I use RA I know that I HAVE to protect my skin. I do recommend this product but it is very pricey imo. It does do a wonderful job for me but I buy deluxe samples for 10$ and they last me months so you can splurge and get it but 55$ for 1.5 Oz is very small to me. Would I buy this again yes and i have because it really helps my skin I have not broken out either. It's good to get a sample before you commit but if you have sensitive,acne prone skin it's really something to try. The cream absorbs really well the reviewer below I feel didn't really give the product a chance it was just a slam without much info. If I'm going to write about something in a negative manner I will at least give you reasons. I think that's what MUA is about. Good reviews so we know what to buy and what not. Highlighters -TheBalm - Mary-Lou Manizer

I wanted to try this highlighter because I have JM illuminizer but really wanted to try a power. Just like everyone else I really like this product. It's so easy to give it 5 lippie's because it really is amazing. I'm an NW15-20 and this gold color just looks beautiful on my moon burnt skin;). The color is perfect with my pink undertones and is very soft and finely milled. I use it with a medium size bronzer brush swirl tap and then i apply it after my blush to my cheekbones. I do a little on my nose and a touch on my brow bone,cupid,inner eye but I mostly use it to highlight my cheeks. I highly recommend this because I have had no experience with highlighters. With this it's kinda full proof so if your new to highlighting I really recommend this because it's easy to learn and it is very forgiving. I watched one 3 minute YouTube tutorial and it was no problem and made my cheekbones look awesome. I always thought using a product like this is just too much makeup but no way would I think that now. It's an enhancer and the MaryLou is my favorite without a doubt. It is also awesome because it compliments a multitude of skin tones and it isn't too glittery so I can see myself using this for more than just special occasions without a doubt.I'm in <3 get it you will be really happy. Plus the packaging is awesome an for the price you get a lot of product. Totally happy with this purchase!

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

So one of my fav SA's at Sally's was raving about this top coat. I'm like are you sure? I have heard both wonderful and not so wonderful reviews on this top coat. I must say it was worth the purchase. I used a base coat used 1 coat of China Glazes For Audrey and then applied the Seche Vite. Wow this stuff dries way faster than my CG Fast Forward top coat. Also it makes my nails way more glossy and they dry so much faster. I do like it a lot but we shall see when I get to the middle of the bottle if I need to buy the thinner I hope I don't because so far so excellent. I have had no issues with this top coat as of yet and will edit this post if need be but really I like it a lot and recommend it. My manicure looks so nice and shiny and just makes them look really good. Good stuff I'm glad I got it.

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Salux Nylon Japanese Bath Towel

I love this towel and as other MUA reviewers said I just stumbled on a good review and then kept reading. I had ordered one before x-mas and I got one for x-mas so I'm stoked to have an extra because this towel is phenomenal! I love how you only need a little shower gel to get a great lather. I love that I can fully get my back now. I have soft skin but holy moly this towel has made my skin so soft and healthy. I also moisturize after and it does just suck right into my skin it's great. I cannot recommend this baby enough at first it was a little rough but now I really like it. I also like the benefits it gives such as making shaving so much better no bumps:) My circulation feels good too. In the winter I tend to get the hideous back spots with this sucker there almost gone. That is what really makes me happy is a clear back. It really cleans well and removes all the dead skin to healthy new skin. So yes get this ladies because your skin will love you for it. It dries so fast, is clean, and hasn't frayed yet. Highly recommended!

Palettes -Urban Decay - Naked Basics

I am an UD shadow lover and own many palettes by them. I find that this palette works best when used with Naked 1 or 2 and my Vice Palette. I have the Naked 2 because I am cool toned and am in love with my Vice. I find that this little gem compliments those palettes because it gives you more matte colors to work with. I find for me I use WOS and a bending and upper brow bone color with my N2 palette I use Naked 2,Venus,Faint, and crave with my N2 and Vice. I can do a full eye look with this palette alone but for me I find it best to be used with my other palettes. Some may find that tedious or just want the 6 to work together on it's own and you can but having other palettes to work with really makes this little baby awesome in my book. As usual UD does not disappoint with their quality shadows they are so buttery and blend so well. Can be used wet or dry and last forever on your eyes better with primer I think.I really like this palette and am stoked to add it to my collection. If your a palette lover or just love UD shadows this will not let you down. I also think the price was reasonable for 6 colors and the quality is amazing. I do recommend it.

Brows -NYX - Eyebrow Cake Powder Taupe/Ash

I just got into really doing my brows and boy do I love this little gem! The wax goes on great and doesn't make them feel stiff just held in place perfectly. The 2 colors are awesome for me as a blonde I use the lightest color because my brows are really blonde. The little spoolie works great to pick up the color and it's so easy to apply. I just brush my brows with the NYX wax pencil first which puts them into the shape I want. Then I add a little more wax before I use the powder. I roll the spoolie in the powder and brush it through and wow my brows look so polished and not over done. The packaging is delicate that's nice for flimsy but for what your paying and what you get I'm totally fine with that because once I do my brows I don't retouch them. With the wax it's not needed so I can leave it home so the packaging is not an issue for me. I don't want that harsh fake brow and this looks like my brows but defined and better! I love it and for 4$ it's perfect! A really excellent product that will last a long time and worth it to me because I love doing a full eye so having good brows is a definite need. So glad I got this and recommend it because it's full proof so you really can't go wrong.

Brows -NYX - Automatic Eye Pencil Taupe

I got this pencil in Taupe and I find it to have some red tones which is ok because I'm a blonde but there is always red in my hair no matter what I can't get rid of it. This pencil is retractable and comes with a soft brush to blend the colour into the eye brows. It applies easy and is very blendable For now it's perfect because it gives my brows definition. I would recommend this but watch out for the red tones. I will be trying there brow powder in blonde next but I am satisfied.

Scrubs -Ole Henriksen - Walnut Complexion Scrub

This is my winter godsend for my dry skin patches from Retin A. I have been on the retin almost 8 months and I still get some flaking which I hate but this jem in a jar has saved my skin for the winter. My day routine is an oil cleanser I have a few then Ren Global Protection. Now the fun part night time because I use it most then because it helps the RA sink in because my skin is prepped. I was with an oil or foam cleanser then I use this I apply about a quarter size to my face paying attention to my dry spots and rub in gentle circular motions. BTW this smells divine fresh and clean very nice to me. I add warm water and lightly scrub and rinse it does get a little foamy which is good. I rinse with cool water tone with orange blossom or rose water once that dries I apply my RA after about an hour I use my Night a Mins and I'm good to go. My skin feels so soft and it's one of the best scrubs I have ever used. I have used exfolikate and this is the best imo. I wakeup in morning with radiant skin which I never used to have. I think this is worth the money because it lasts a long time for me 2x's a week is perfect considering I have a Mia so I don't want to over do it but this stuff makes my skin baby soft. I think this is a good gentle scrub that most women can use. Of course get a sample so you'll know if it works for you. I ordered this without testing and I'm very happy with it. I really recommend this scrub and I have sensitive skin so it works on us sensitive girls which is great because girls with other skin types can benefit too.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Retin-A 0.05%

I wanted to do an update on the gel 0.05% since I switched to that. Crazy that I am in winter but I have been on Retin A since June and I am happy to report I now have clear skin. This is what I did and still do just now with the gel which I will get into. I wash in the morning with an oil cleanser ala Josie Maran,Shi,or Shu or I'll use a cleansing cream I really like the Asian ones like Tony Moly and Skinfood. I find right now I need cream based or oil based cleansing because my skin got so dry before I switched to the gel. So in the morning after cleansing I use Ren Global Protection for sensitive skin. It moisturizes dry patches and leaves my skin feeling so good I love this stuff. I then prime with Clarins and apply a moisturizing BB Cream like Skin79 or Skinfood Rose Lemon Tea. I find the moisturizing BB's work great and do not show dry spots. At night I wash my face or will use my Clarisonic Mia with that I use MISSHA Chocolate Latte face wash it's decadent and full of moisture. The Mia used at least 3x's a week helps the Retin really sink into the skin. I then tone with Orange Blossom or Rose Toner. After 20 minutes it's time for my Retin now to the gel. I like that it still has a white base and is still moisturizing not as much as the cream but I find no difference really except I like how my skin looks with the gel over the cream. After an hour I us Origins Night a Mins and that really helps with skin turn over. The gel gives you a velvety feel whereas the cream would make me produce more oil. The gel does not I find I produce less oil and it's working better on shrinking my pores or it could be that I have been on it long enough where I am truly seeing the benefits. The 0.05% is perfect for my skin and what I started out on. I have no pimples at all nor hyper pigmentation you can barely see it now my scars are getting smaller and the red spots are gone. My skin is even toned and very soft I get an RX from my Doc but have it filled through a Canadian pharmacy I save a fortune that way and it ensures I can use this for as long as I can. This treatment works if you stick with it. I had purging and it was gross but now it was all worth it because i can wear a light coverage BB with no problems now. People ask what I did to make my skin look so good and it did make me look younger. I'm 33 but look in my early 20's so the anti aging benefits are really there. I really love this RA Gel and recommend either the cream,gel, or micro as long as you hang in you will have beautiful skin. I never thought I could have clear skin and now I do so give this a try I highly recommend it.

Fragrances -Donna Karan - Be Delicious Fresh Blossom Juiced

I got this because I love the Fresh Blossom and wanted this to add to my collection. I like it and it's way more floral than Be delicious I clearly smell rose but it does dry down to a kinda similar Be Delicious in my opinion. I like it actually and will use it for just running around not for special events but this will be used. I always used Happy so this has been my first time I was converted to a new fragrance. Now I'm more open to trying new scents. I don't know why I was so stuck with Happy or nothing I'm glad I'm becoming a perfume liberal lol. This scent is nice though nothing amazing but really good to me the Fresh Blossom is what I truly love and I really just wanted this to enjoy when I don't use that. So I am happy with this and recommend it, it would be great for younger girls as well. It's just a really nice scent that will not offend and makes me smell pretty so for that it gets 4 lippies I can't give it 5 because it doesn't out do Fresh Blossom but is a nice counterpart.

Lip Treatments -Korres - Lip Butter - Wild Rose

I bought this to bump my cart over 50 for free shipping and am very glad I did. It's such a neat jelly consistency that i love to put on my lips. And the best part it moisturizes! For my complexion for some reason this color suits me more than Benatint which I have love for I just like this a little more. One is it's cheaper it smells really good and it gives my lips such a nice flush of colour that looks sexy. It's nice to have pale skin with rosy lips you can't go wrong with that if like me you are pale. All I needed was this and my BB pact and it looked beautiful in a photograph. I'm very happy with it. My lips feel fuller I have no idea if they are but hey it's the feeling that counts. I like that this doesn't dry me out like some products do. The pot I'm not a fan but the consistency of the product is what makes it such a good butter to put it in a tube changes this and you can buy it in a tube but the tub is for me. I like the smell of roses and this was the colour i was looking for and for 12$ I am very happy with this. It lasts a long time and it has nice colour payoff that you can build or put on top of another colour. I def want to try more of these as I do really luv my lip butter it makes me want to check out there skin care products as well. It actually lasts pretty long too. I haven't had trouble with bleeding but I don't apply it too heavy. This is good stuff that one should def give a try.

Skincare - Body -Johnson & Johnson - Gel Baby Oil

I have a nice Winter secret with this product that is keeping my skin soft and protected against the dry heat. When I shower and when it's time to use my shower gel Lush Grass at the moment. I mix the baby oil gel with my shower gel add to my puffy thing and scrub away or I'll use my hands when I want more targeted moisture. This leaves my skin soft and smelling so good. I swear it makes your shower gel scent last longer plus added skin moisture to your gel. So for me this is a win win. The packaging really needs some work though I find it cracks and then it's so hard to get it out without it taking forever and many types of squeeze tactics.;) In the Winter I find extra moisture essential to my skin because the heat from my hot showers,dry heat in the house.plus outdoors really take a toll on me. I also can't stand dry skin bumps so this is just what I need. I like this because mixed with the shower gel it cuts back on being too oily but you can adjust to your liking which is great.If I need more moisture later I use Moist's Hemp Body Moisturizer which is excellent and affordable as well. Yet, I find J&J's baby products are excellent and I always find myself using one of their products or have one in my bathroom. I recommend this product in whatever way you like to use it because this stuff works and I like products that do what they say which is keeping my skin soft and protected.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter

I must give some love to my Lip Butter Pink Truffle which is a color that I really like. I'm an NW-15-20 and my lips have a natural pink but this color just seems to really like my complexion plus the formula is so good for your lips it leaves them soft it doesn't dry my lips out. It's a very good for a drugstore brand. I really want to try more especially a darker color since I'm so pale. The Pink Truffle comes out pretty dark but I'd like to take it a step farther with Fig Jam. Plus for the price you really can't beat it since it's formula is as good as some high end lip butters. The packaging could use a little work just a more secure top would be nice otherwise..... Love for these lippie's.
