Cleansers -Olay - Daily Facials

Was on holidays and on a shopping binge too...(seem to buy things I don't need while on holidays) read the reviews here that spoke highly of these cleansing cloths. Bought the combo/oily skin ones and Vooooillaaaaa! Taddaaaa! Glorious Looking-Smooth As a Baby's Bottom Skin! Even my husband has noticed a change in my skin tone and texture. I cut them in half to make 60 out of the 30's...the halves seem to do a great job cleansing in the morning...sometimes after a heavy makeup night I do use a whole sheet to make sure I removed every trace of the stuff. I sometimes have eczema around my eyes too...and this does not dry out my skin or irritate my eye area...will DEFIANTLY repurchase!

Conditioner -Beyond The Zone - Noodle Head Curly Hair Conditioner

Noodle head is becoming one of my favourite products! This conditioner is great and cheap! Works great with Noodle Head Curling Creme. I am not sure if it enhances my curls (I always think its the way you style your hair that promotes curl anyway)...but in any case I love this conditioner...really works to detangle hair and keep it super soft! Styling Products -A/G - Recoil Curl Activator

This is the 5th curl product I have tested...it is a tiny bit more expensive than the cheaper (really good) products I have tried. It is VERY concentrated, so you don't have to use very much. (I found that out the hard way the first time I over applied) I have been using it a week now and even when I use less product, my hair felt coated and weighed down. I even have the flakey appearance that some other users have complained about. Too bad, after the positive reviews here I thought this one might be a keeper...will keep trying with the amount in my hair, but if the weighed down feeling doesn't improve...this one will be swapped!

This will be the 4th curl product I have tried, and by far the most expensive. This did nothing to define my curls, it made my hair feel heavy and weighed down. I tried using less...I tried using more...I tried it on really wet hair, damp hair, towel dried hair - it never seemed to do the job of the cheaper curl enhancers I have tried. The bottle is very small for the $$ amount. On the positive side...it has a really nice smell!

**My Favortire "CREAM" Curl Enhancer***WOW! wow-za Wow Wow! What a super inexpensive product that really delivers! I have a small amount of curl in my hair, but wanted to kick it up a notch. After reading reviews here...I ran out to a Sally's Store.... This fan-tab-u-lous product did the job - and then some!! It did not weigh my hair down or make it sticky...worked great. MEGA curls, no sticky or crunchy mess. Using a diffuser makes the product work even better!! It will be my Holy Grail Staple when every I want to go curly!!

WOW! What a super inexpensive product that really delivers! My bottle says "NEW" on it...so this must be a new addition to the Pantene line. (lady instore said it may replace Curl Revive). If you like spray on products rather that thick gels/balms...it's a great deal! I have a small amount of curl in my hair, but wanted to kick it up a notch. Rather than buying a salon product, I thought I would start with cheaper first (although cheaper is sometimes not better) this gel spray did the job. On the first day I used it sparingly, so not to weigh my hair down or make it sticky...worked great. On the second day I went to town spraying a generous amount in ... same good results...lots of curls, no sticky or crunchy mess. It will be my cheaper go-to product when I can't get my BTZ Noodle head.

**UPDATE**I have tried this product in the old clear-see-through spray bottle packaging...and gave it a 3...Now I am giving it a 5 since the formulation of this product has changed...for the better! (it is now in an orange non see through bottle) The hold on this product now seems to be a lot firmer, yet does not make my hair frizzy. I have nice...non crunchy curls in my wavy hair now...seem like they have weakened the scent of the spray...(can't seem to put my finger on it...a creamy vanilla rosy smell) it is lovely...but I really liked the stronger smell that was in the previous mixture. I think this is finally a keeper!! Will repurchase over and over again!

I think this is one of only a handful of products that I can say worked wonders on the first use! I decided to try the Lite formula instead of choosing the one that would be for my hair type (I should have bought extra strength for course hair) I have a major thick lion mane, but I decided on the LITE after reading reviews (for the other serum types) about the "heaviness" of the regular and extra strength. I chose right. Instantly my hair was de-frizzed, it felt healthy, soft and was not at all weighed down. The formula didn't smell at all (some reviewers said it smelt bad). It was even on sale at shoppers drug mart for half the price. I would pay full price without even flinching...this is so good! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

Styling Products -Redken - Concrete #22

I was looking for a styling product with more hold now that my hair is getting thicker and longer. Bought this on a Tuesday, returned it by Friday! When I used it as a defining/chunking/separator in dry hair, it was way too liquidy, and took forever to get to that "hardened" rock solid style the container talks about. So then I tried it in my damp hair before blow-drying (as the bottle suggests) Two minutes into drying the paste became ROCK hard and the brush got stuck in my hair...literally the OUCH type of stuck that hurt when I tried to get it out. It was absolutely like hardened glue. If you have a Mohawk...than this is your product, if you want hair that doesn't have a brush sticking out of it...than this is not the product for you! I think this is the worst product I have ever tried...EVER!

Nice smelling, long lasting, foam mousse. Doesn't weigh down my thick hair. Doesn't have a stinky after smell some mousse's have from blowdrying too much. NOT sticky at all...can run my fingers through my hair after blowdrying. My hair feels and looks great.
