Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Secret Charm

This smells really nice, i would describe it as a fresh and clean floral scent. It is different from the other VS Secret Garden scents in that I don't get any fruity notes with this one. I can easily see this becoming a classic such as my dear Whispering Mist, and I say this because I can see VS discontinuing it. Nonetheless, this is a great, sexy scent that would be perfect for the office and a night out, definitely a winner.

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Sparkling Peach EDT
yogurt112 8/28/2009 10:35:00 PM
This smells sooooo yummy. It's a very fresh, juicy and sweet peach scent with a smooth undertone, a reviewer below mentioned sandalwood and/or amber, and I agree. I only wish this lasted longer, but reapplying is no problem at all. Definitely fresh and girly smelling, I can see guys lovin' this one.

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Tropical Passionfruit EDT
yogurt112 8/28/2009 10:32:00 PM
Wow, this smells sooooo good. I love it, it's very fresh and fruity smelling, I'd say there are hints of peach, apple, mango and citrus. It's very hard to describe, but it is really unique and yummy. My only negative comment about this would be that it doesn't last very long, however I don't mind reapplying at all. Too bad this is discontinued, but you can still find it here and there on Ebay.

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Exotic Coconut
yogurt112 8/14/2009 2:12:00 AM
So I am kind of on the fence with this product, it's an almost bitter smelling true Coconut scent. I get a plastic like undertone to this lotion as well. I guess why Exotic Coconut smells bitter to me is that I smelt Creamy Coconut prior to it, which is a vanilla/pineapple/coconut scent. I suppose this isn't bad, it just isn't a sweet foody type of coconut, but for those who are looking for a suntan lotion type of coconut, then I would definitely recommend this.

Fragrances -Laura Mercier - Vanille Gourmande
yogurt112 7/15/2009 3:17:00 AM
Out of all of the Laura Mercier Eau Gourmande frangrances, I find this to be one of the most wearable. This fragrance to me smells like a more sophisticated and "classy" vanilla with slight notes of musk, sandalwood, and even slighter notes of spice. However, I must say that this scent is nothing special, just pleasant enought to pull out for a spray when you feel like it, and not an absolute necessity. However, I must say that this scent would be great as a base for other foody fragrances, or as a body mist, lasting power is not that great.

Blush -Cargo - Catalina
yogurt112 7/14/2009 12:43:00 AM
This is one of the best matte pink blushes I have tried. I've always been a fan of glowing "girly" type colours for blushes due to the fact that I have oily skin and darker colors can at times end up looking muddy on me. I find this blush to be highly pigmented as well, so a small amount goes a long way. Also, the blending power of Catalina is great, which means no streaks. Overall, a great bright matte pink blush to wake up your complexion. For reference I'm MAC C4 with a light/medium golden skin tone.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Uzi eyeshadow
yogurt112 7/14/2009 12:23:00 AM
I do like this eyeshadow. It's a white/silvery shadow with loads of silver glitter in it. I can see why some individuals would give this a negative review, however, if you don't care for glitter and/or are looking for a more subtle e/s, then you honestly shouldn't buy Uzi in the first place. This is by no means a daytime shadow, but is perfect for a night out or special occassion. I usually lightly wet my eyelid and tap a small amount of Uzi across my lid for a great evening look with a little sparkle. The absolute trick is to tap Uzi lightly on a slightly wet lid, or lightly smear it across a dry lid, otherwise you will get too much glitter and fall out. If you are looking for a shadow that has lots of glitter/sparkle, then definitely give this a try, otherwise you will find this overwhelming. I wouldn't buy this shadow again strictly because I wouldn't use it enough, and the fact that I usually tend not wear shadows anyways.

Fragrances -Laura Mercier - Almond Coconut Eau Gourmande
yogurt112 7/13/2009 11:03:00 PM
Initially, I loved this fragrance, to me it smelled like a "grown-up" and classy version of coconut with almond and floral notes. Of course, the lasting power wasn't the greatest, but I could still catch whiffs of it throughout the day. However, after the second day of owning this fragrance, it started to turn on me upon first spirtz. I honestly cannot describe the scent it began to resemble, essentially a strong almond smell that kind of reminded me of the soft and faint smell which wanders throughout hospitals, if that makes sense. Regardless, this became off-putting to the extent that I had to bring it back. I would strongly recommend one try samples of this before purchasing a full sized bottle.

Fragrances -Escada - Pacific Paradise
yogurt112 7/13/2009 4:29:00 AM
This is a nice sweet fragrance with tropical notes consisting of coconuts, bananas, limes and some non-descript berries. It is one of the few perfumes I have ever actual finished a whole bottle of, however that may be due to the fact that it doesn't have much lasting power. Nonetheless, Escada's fragrances are meant to be light "beach" scents so I wouldn't expect that they would be super strong, though that would be nice. Nonetheless, this is truly a great tropical scent and it would be hard to find someone who would truly dislike it. Would be excellent as a strong body/hair/clothing mist.

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin lotion
yogurt112 6/24/2009 5:31:00 PM
I ordered this online during B&BW's sale on all of their classic scents. I thought this would smell like a creamy sweet pumpkin pie with a hint of cinnamon. Nonetheless, I don't know if I got a bad batch but upon applying this to my skin I got a rancid overwhelming smell of cloves, Iike something you would smell in a medicinal herb shop, if that makes sense. Upon dry down it did sweeten up a bit, but I still catch that overpowering smell of cloves along with some sort of sweet floral notes? It was only $5.00 when I bought it so if I make it up to the states I'll probably exchange it, otherwise Ill probably just give it to someone who likes the scent. Too bad though.
