I NEVER thought I would purchase a 3 bottle package of body spray for $5 and be thrilled with every single fragrance...how is this possible? I purchased the pack at WM, the following in my opinion, for what its worth on each scent: Va Va Voom- this is an exact dupe of Marks Hollywood Pink. It has that light chocolate, powdery dry down. Very lovely. Love Struck - Starts off with a starburst candy smell, kinda cute but then after about 30 minutes it glams up...I still smell fruit but its in the background and something more mature yet playful happens. I wish I could pinpoint the scent, but I've never smelled anything like it before. Strawberries & Champagne - I smell no strawberries in this, to me its more herbal. Its almost smells like clover mixed with a musk scent. This is sexy. These are very long lasting to boot...seriously for $5 go out buy the 3 pack and try them for yourself. I really think you will be pleasantly surprised.
I love sweet scents. Bought a rollerball of this from Sephora. It is a sweet scent that smells alittle more grown up than say, Pink Sugar. I'm really liking it and have gotten some very nice remarks about it. May be asking Santa for the full size spray.
Got this in my Birchbox...2 coats, no base or top coats used. 4 days later and not 1 chip...absolutely non!!! If not for Birchbox I would have never tried this product. I'm not wild about the color...its a little too nude for me...but I will be purchasing other Zoya colors. I also agree with the other posters, very opague, and the polish goes on smoothly because of the brush. Very pleased indeed.
Fragrances -Parfums de Coeur - Body Fantasies Vampire EDP
yankeerose 9/9/2011 10:45:00 AM
My sons GF, she's 17, met us all for a family dinner. She sat next to me...she smelled so pretty. Not fruity, not like a cupcake, like all her friends do. I asked what she was wearing...Vampire. I told her it worked really well with her body chemistry. The next day, she showed up with a little wrapped box for me....yep, Vampire. I have been wearing it for about 2 weeks now, and I must say its nice. Nothing will ever replace White Shoulders for me, but I am enjoying this scent quite a bit. Its not cloying like alot of inexpensive scents tend to be and it seems to have pretty good staying power. I will probably never buy it for myself , but I don't think I've ever really re-purchased any fragrance other than White Shoulders anyway.
Moisturizers -Clean & Clear - advantage oil-free Acne Moisturizer

I try to leave reviews on products that are really great or really bad...this product is really fantastic, but let me explain why I use this. I am in my late 40's and I've developed butt acne...yes, the dreaded buttne...totally disgusting. I've tried using regular acne meds on it, but it would dry out my skin...so even though I would get rid of the bumps, I would have lizard skin on my tush...still disgusting. One day, I was looking around W-M and found this product. Hmmm...has salicylic acid and its a moisturizer, plus its dirt cheap, under $6.00 for 4 oz. What do I have to loose, cept some buttne and hopefully lizard skin. I've been using this after every shower and lets just say...yep the old butt may have dimples and fat but NO acne or dry skin. One more beauty crisis solved thanks to ds cheap products.
First off, yes its a bit expensive for a lip balm ($3.59 at Sally's). I do not like a colorless lipbalm, I like color and a bit of sparkle too. These are perfect. I have the golden pink (frosty rose color) and bronzy pink ( wonderful when doing a "summer" face, little bronzer, liner and mascara and this....sooo pretty) but the best thing is they are moisturizing and don't feel waxy or very greasy. I am going to get a few more, they can easily be used as a lipstick, just layer a little more on. I'm loving Sally's more and more these days =)
Hair Removal -Avon - Skin so Soft fresh & smooth hair removal cream
yankeerose 5/8/2011 1:36:00 PM
Okay, let me start by saying I hate shaving...seriously hate it. I have tried waxing and epilating...found out I'm not into pain either...so finally decided to try cream hair removers. I tried every brand out there...from Nair to Veet to other brands...they took forever to work on me, at least 10 minutes sometimes more and the smell was always outrageously gross. Then I tried Avons' SSS hair removal cream...in ONLY 3 minutes, my legs are smooth as silk and (I know they say not to use it on pubic area, but I am a maverick =) my hootch is pornstar lovely!!! WAIT it gets better...the smell is actually nice and I stay totally smooth for 4 days before any regrowth is felt! I actually can use it once a week and look decent. I just wished they sold it in bigger tubes.
Lip Liners -E.L.F. - Studio Lip Definer and Shaper
yankeerose 11/29/2010 11:28:00 PM
I just received this a few days ago along with a few other ELF goodies. I'm not impressed with this as a lipliner but the reason I gave it 5 stars is because it works perfectly as an inner eye brightener. At least the "shape" side does. I put this on in the early morning, had a meeting at work, had to run to the airport, was delayed for about 4 hours because of electric problems in Atlanta, I checked my makeup about 4 PM, and low and behold my inner eye still had the brightener (okay, the lipliner) on. Thats saying something since anything near my tearducts usually doesn't last more than 2-3 hours max. The color is very neutral and looks nicer than frosty white. I'm getting a few more just for this reason.
Hair -Wen by Chaz Dean - Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner
yankeerose 11/1/2010 11:10:00 PM
My hair...where do I begin...Its mid shoulder length, VERY fine, but a lot of it. Plus, I dye it from a cheap box kit from the drugstore. It was a haystack ready to ignite from dryness! I tried everything, from drugstore to beauty salon, CO cleaning, nothing and I mean absolutely nothing made any noticable difference in my hay...I mean hair. One day at work I was noticing my bosses hair, it was looking very shiny and healthy, where just a month or so earlier, she was getting ready to cut it all off because of dry, brittle ends. I asked her what her secret was...she tells me about this WEN stuff. I never heard of it before but she told me to check it out on QVC. I did. I've been using Wen only for about a month but the change in my hair, is truly unbelievable. It is soft, silky, shampoo commercial worthy hair. Here's the real kicker...my DH noticed how shiny it was, and he said it felt like satin!!! Now I don't know about most husbands, but even though I adore mine, him noticing anything like this means only one thing...DRAMATIC change. 'nugh said. I did have to use the product about 3 times before I really could see the change in my hair. I will continue to use Wen...why mess with perfection?
This is my all time fav on my DH. Its woody, spicy and clean. Yes, all three...if your sweetie has never tried it, get them a small bottle, you won't regret it.
Liquid -Avon - MagiX Cashmere Finish Liquid Foundation - Natural Beige
yankeerose 10/6/2010 10:37:00 PM
Add me to the list of people who like this foundation. I wore it all summer long, needed something lighter than my usual fall/winter foundation. Gave light/med coverage, lasted all day, and didn't need primer...great product.
Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Ed Hardy Love and Luck
yankeerose 10/1/2010 6:43:00 PM
On me, this smells like cream with cinnamon added. It is absolutely lovely...on me. On my DD...oh dear Lord its a train wreck, it smells almost dirty, and not in a good way. I let a few other women try it and I have noticed that those over 40 it smelled divine, but under 30 it really reeked. Go figure...but my DH loves it on me, so yes, I will repurchase.
Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche Skinscent
yankeerose 8/13/2010 5:35:00 PM
I have been using the spray and oil last summer and this summer. I get TONS of compliments on the way I smell. Mostly women compliment me on this and will ask what it is, but my DH loves it also. Its floral but definitely a summer floral, I don't think it would wear as well during the cooler months.
Actually this worked very well for me, made my lashes super long, didn't smudge and didn't irritate my contact lens wearing eyes. BUT and yes its a big but...I get the same results from cheaper drugstore mascaras. So why spend $24 when you can get the same product for $8???
I'm not finished the first can, but have already purchased another...the trick to this product is as another reviewer stated...you have to let it sit in your hair for awhile. I spray it on my roots, let it sit for 2 minutes then brush or comb it out. If you don't let it sit, it won't work. I wash my hair every other day, and this product has made my hair look freshly washed on day two...I am very impressed.
