Orly is hands down my favorite polish. It always comes out great. The only downside is a relatively long dry time compared to other brands. I just make sure I use a quick drying top coat and do my nails when I know I can have my hands idle for at least 45 minutes. Plum Noir is the perfect fall color, dark and rich plum that looks nearly black indoors. Great coverage with two coats.
Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Continuous Control Acne Cleaner

I started getting some cystic acne as I entered my early 40's. I did some research on what made the ProActive line so successful and noted that their active ingredients contained benzoyl peroxide. The solutions containing salicylic acid or triclosan weren't working for me, so before I invested in the ProActive line, I thought I'd try this one out. It works like a charm. My face cleared up almost immediately. Now, with three teenagers in the house, we go through Clean & Clear like water! Good thing the price is right ($4.79 at my local Target) It is working for them too, but my daughter needs to alternate washings with the Clean and Clear containing triclosan or her skin gets too red.
I saw this color in OPI's promotional video for their Gel Color line. The model in the video was having her nails done in Pompeii Purple. I thought it was the most gorgeous shade of hot pink I'd ever seen. Perfect for summer toes and fingers. I love the flashes of blue that come out in bright light.
In general, I'm a big fan of MAC eyeshadows, but this one is a disappointment. It is very sheer and goes on a bit splotchy. I used Stila prime pot underneath after reading one review suggesting a good primer, and it was still a letdown. I used it as a lid color with Fig. 1 in the crease and it was just OK, no wow factor for me with this one.
Ewwwww! This stuff smells like the cleaning fluid the janitor at my office uses.I sprayed some on at Dillard's without sniffing the bottle first and then made a beeline to the nearest restroom to wash it off. Maybe it dries down and morphs into something better, but the initial scent is nauseating. The only nice thing about this fragrance is the bottle.
I was in Ulta one day and spritzed a little of this on while I shopped. I loved it! I wasn't prepared to by it that day and went home to think about it. I tried to talk myself out of it but every time I went in a store that sold Lancome, I had to spray some on. As much as I tried to make myself behave and not buy any more fragrance, I couldn't stop thinking about it and finally caved in and got a small bottle. I have used it every day since and I still love it. It smells a little like Stella McCartney but I like the dry down much better.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Deep Clean Facial Cleanser

This cleanser works for me. It removes all of my makeup without a trace left over. I use this with my Clairsonic brush and I haven't had a breakout since. My husband uses this too and says he has less infected ingrown hairs when he washes with this. Good stuff!!
A very dramatic color! Indoors this looks mostly black but still gives a hint of a black cherry, dark blood hue. I like Orly polishes the best because they last longer. The dry time is somewhat longer than other brands, but with a fast drying top coat, I'm good to go as long as I'm not going to be doing a lot of work with my hands for a couple of hours.
Awesome little compact. I am going on vacation and want to take along some of my MAC shadows. This is great to use. I just pop the pans out of my MAC palette and into this to throw in my makeup bag for my trip. I can have the shadows I need without having to take along my 15 shadow collection. Sometimes I'll coordinate 4 shadows for a look I want to make and use this to organize them together in my makeup drawer. Perfect!
Mascara -L'Oreal - Waterproof Voluminous Carbon Black

I cannot seem to use this mascara without making a total mess somewhere! Either on my eyes or on my fingers or on my vanity table. The stopper at the top that scrapes off excess mascara at the top of the tube is too wide. Too much mascara comes out and I have to scrape the excess off at the top or wipe it on a tissue. If I don't, then it clumps like crazy or gets deposited where it's not supposed to be. I like that it is a deep dark black. It does take some effort to remove completely at the end of the day too, but that is usually the norm with waterproof mascaras. I'd seen this mascara praised by several makeup artists on their blogs, so I gave it a try, but I'm just not feeling the love.
Eyeliner -Urban Decay - Eyeliner Pencil - Stray Dog

I bought this in a set from UD. I wear MAC Satin Taupe eyeshadow and use this as my liner. It's a great match. A grey leaning taupe color. Very nice--long lasting and waterproof.
I'm glad I purchased this in the Spiderman Mini's collection because I'd be a little upset with myself if I'd purchased a full sized bottle of this. On my nails the polish mostly looked gold with a slight greenish sheen. It just made me look like some 80's disco queen wannabe with it on. I think it would be much prettier on someone darker skin. I am happily turning the bottle over to my 12 year old daughter as she painted her toes with it and loved it . I like the other shades in the collection, particularly the peachy/pink/frost color.
One of my current favorites. I purchased Sephora's fragrance sampler of 12 scents and this one was the winner that I used my full sized coupon for. I have the EDP and my only complaint is that it is very oily. I can see an oily sheen on my chest and neck for hours after I spray this. I would assume the EDT is less oily. It isn't a subtle scent so it's definitely not for everyone. The bottle is cuter in the clear with white daisies that the EDT comes in. The EDP bottle is black with gold daisies that I find very gaudy.
I love this. It is VERY rosy smelling and sweet, but that's what I was looking for. I like sweeter smelling scents and this fits the bill. The bottle is pretty-- a nice compliment to the collection of perfume bottles I display on my dresser. It does smell quite similar to Stella McCartney, but I like the dry down on Issey much better. A very soft and feminine fragrance, I feel it's not too overpowering with a slight spritz to my neck to wear at work.
Just plain weird. This color looks nice enough in the pan, but it barely shows up on my skin. I really had to pack it on to see it. It works as a highlight color, but it definately puts off a bit of a bluish frosty cast on my NC15 skin. I bought this based on a heavy swatch on my wrist but diluted out on a blush brush, it just disappears on the skin. I will use it as a highlight color only.
