Scrubs -The Body Shop - Aloe Gentle Exfoliator

I used vitamin E exfoliating scrub for years which leaves my skin baby soft - but breaks me out near chin as it is a rich creamy formula - went to the body shop and explained this and the asistant suggested I buy the Aloe line - I tried the aloe scrub (I understand that the skin takes a while to get used to products) - three times- it has caused acne on my forhead too and I have never had acne - far too rich for non dry skin types- i WOULD AVOID AT ALL COSTS- dos not leave skin feeling soft/exfoliated either - the granules are miniscule- maybe for hypersensitive skin - but my skin is hyper sensitive- terrible product- a cream without fragrance but with tiny exfoliating beads (not effective enough for my skin anyway)- the vitamin e range had exfoliating beads they were v small to but not as small as the aloe range- the vit e did the job perfectly and I always got comments on how soft my face looked afterwards- not the aloe total opposite now I have spots !!!

Fragrances -The Body Shop - Satsuma/Fuzzy Peach/Strawberry

SOOO NICE.... I got the strawberry body mist- this smells like strawberrys but in a nice way- not a childish type fragrance but somewhat grown up scent- maybe too sweet for those who dont like sweet scents/fruity scents- can attract insects (warning for those who have sensitive skin) and so you may get bitten by insects in the warmer months. I love to mix the strawberry body mist with some other fragrances (non fruity) and it gives the best smell ever for me I get soooo many compliments (from both men and women) - I find the mist on its own is alittle too sweet (although I am a major fan of sweet scents) reminding me of strawberrys and with a slight hint of grape due to the sweetness-I am looking forward to trying the satsuma and coconut although I am not a citrus person as the fragrances are so sweet I think that it will be nice and I think they have a chocolate too (warmer scent) - I love these clean fresh fruity and girlie scents- the pomegranate hydrating spray was not to my liking (smelt like bad detergent). I like the packaging on this product- looks classy and not child like- however the lid is not a fitted one so can not carry around also as it comes in a glass bottle... Overall I would say this product is great for those who love sweet scents... Worth every penny..not overly pricey...works well on my sensitive skin... update: Initially the mist is strong but only sprayed once- the smell dissspeared within 20mins sprayed 3/4 times and scent lasted about an hour..hence 2 lippies off- tried the other scents- scent caused some irritation to nose and throat other scents= not true to their lines. (tested coconut - chocomania - sweet lemon- vanilla, satsuma moringa and pink grapefuit, mango) Satsuma is a loud satsuma scent I would not use the citrus type scents smell alittle like detergents- the vanilla was lovely initially but turned into room refreshener type of a scent/candle oil scent/ chocomania was the worst scent for me I had high expectations It was a rotten choco scent (if there is such thing) - shea and coconut were not tropical and neither were they true to the fragrance they represent - not pleased- however I am v pleased with strawberry except for the staying power- The moringa smelt like some unpleasant hair oils not that appealing to me - Did not smell olive but the olive scrub smelt like almond essence yummy not sure I would want to smell like a battenberg though...Mango smelt like mango and was not bad- not overly sweet either- I would not go crazy over the Oils if buying for pure fragrance purposes the scents lasting power is POOR. Nice idea though. IF YOU WANT A OIL WITH A FRAGRANCE THAT LASTS I WOULD RECOMMEND EDIBLE MASSAGE OILS BY earthly body £13 but well worth it...

OKay after reading the reviews on this product I was looking forward to using this- lets say the pom drinks smell better than this- to me the hydrating mist smells like a room refreshener to me a strong bitter smell - the only way that I can wear it is if i mix it with pure white musk oud to dilute the spray- horrible- burns nose very strong- not recommended for anyone - smelt like detergent-usually love TBH products. Nothing special about plastic bottle.

Amazing scent - wears off almost right away so you need to apply generously- does not break me out despite having sensitive skin and did not give me a headache- smells like some of my Middle Eastern Parfums Gorgeous but without the staying power (lighter version) - so its still good- soo nice not such a sweet scent so sweet parfum lovers stay away refreshing but not powdery- If you are stuck for gift ideas this may be a safe and lovely option- not so sweet, very refreshing and well balanced parfum can be used as a unisex parfum... such a nice smell very refreshing ...

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush

Reminds me of sleek blush in Rose Gold (hint hint dupes) - lovely color a rosy peach with gold - almost- too orange for my NC20/25 Skin tone (too harsh looked like bronzer even when applied lightly) (Asian NC 20 NC 25 in some summers with warm undertones). Nice shade to look at but I think for now I'll stick to light pink blushes which look more natural. Not for those preferring a natural look - in my opinion as shimmery too and I dont think anyones cheeks would be flushing shimmery gold when flushed...depends on look but good product otherwise- alittle on the expensive side like Chanel Blushes but worth it if you find something you will use regularly as make-up tends to expire before you know it. I would not purchase this shade again as I do not use it. NOTHING SPECIAL FOR ME. Universal I dont think so.

I TRIED THIS ON MY HAIR FOR THE FIRST TIME LAST WEEK AND MY HAIR WAS SERIOUSLY SOFTER AND FELT HEALTHIER EVEN AFTER BLOW DRYING AND IT STAYED SOFT A WEEK LATER... THE OIL WASHES OUT EASILY UNLIKE SOME OTHER OILS- THE SMELL IS OF COCONUT OF COURSE MAY BE A LITTLE STRONG FOR SENSITIVE USERS BUT SHOULD NOT AFFECT SKIN AS IT IS THE NATURAL OIL SCENT AND NOT PARFUM... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PEOPLE WITH ACNE PRONE SKIN TO LEAVE ON OVERNIGHT - AS IT CAN ENARGE THE PORES/BLOCK PORES/CAUSE BREAKOUTS/PIMPLES LIKE SOME OTHER OILS DUE TO EXCESSIVE SEBUM PRODUCTION ETC AND SO YOU MAY BENEFIT FROM MASSAGING THE OIL INTO THE HAIR AND THE SCALP A FEW HOURS BEFORE WASHING YOUR HAIR OR APPLY IN THE MORNING AND WASH OFF IN THE EVENING- CAN BE LEFT ON FOR AS LONG AS YOU LIKE AND CAN BE USED AS A SERUM AFTER WASHES (WARNING OIL SO ONLY USE A FEW SMALL DROPS ESP IF YOU HAVE FINE HAIR). Worst product ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CAVEAT EMPTOR- BUYER BEWARE!!! I only tested some from the shop floor as my hyper-sensitive skin wont allow me to use just any product- at first it made the skin alittle red but also even more oily (I tired it on the T zone and my skin is not any where near oily if anything it gets dry at times) the following morning (today) was a nightmare I dont even need a magnifying glass to see the pores from a mile away where the product was tested- although I cleansed my face the night before and had exfoliated it ie removing the product entirely from my t-zone; guess what? the pores besides my nose on my cheeks where I tested the product were 10 x bigger- horrible product should be removed off shelves but thats moi opinion!!!IF I COULD GIVE THE PRODUCT A 0 I DEFINITELY WOULD- I THINK ITS ONE OF THOSE PRODUCTS THAT RETAILERS WANT YOU TO KEEP ON PURCHASING AND WISHING TO SEE RESULTS AFTER THEY RUIN YOUR SKIN...

Nice product lathers up so cleans skin too and leaves a glowing radiance without being glittery/sparkly unless you use a magnifying glass lol and even then you may just notice a few shimmers - may be too light for medium/dark skin as it has a gold radiance- nice product- smells alittle annoying at first but does the job well xnice for summer and sandals too.

This gives my NC20-25 skin a perfect 'workout' flushed cheek look I purchased it after ladyblush was dicontinued, although this is more of a cooler shade of pink- it's a nice and girlie pink- some may find it a little boring the shimmers do not show up on my skin when applied - color may even look somewhat matt I like this as it looks more natural. I originally found a SIMILAR color by BOOTS no 17 range plum blush (near a DUPE LADIES) as MAC did not have Dame in stock although I am a fan of premium make up I found the boots brand blush a tiny bit more plummier than pink they both give me a gorgeous natural look and the boots brand is easier to apply as the Mac blush is hard to use is not easy to take out of the pot I found that I had to really press my MAC blush brush on to the product to get some out and it was coated in a sheen within a few weeks and so the color could not be easily removed out of the pan - so I would not say the quality of the blush is great but the color is nice- but I am alittle bored of having to dig deep in order to apply a small amount of blush. The blush wears of like many blushers after a few hours. Overall I am happy with the shade but not with the quality, I have never found using blusher such an effort. update: WHEN I LOOK AT THIS BLUSHER I REGRET BUYING AS IT WONT EVEN COME OUT OF THE PAN USING MY MAC BLUSHER BRUSH; SHADE IS SOMEWHAT FLAT!!!

Great product lovely light baby product type light fresh smell, very gentle on my super sensitive skin - this formula is cream based and may not be suitable for oily skin types as it is a moisturising, beautifully softening formula. I always look forward to my two week facial as I love the smell and the way my skin feels after using this product, always receive compliments on how my skin looks too after using this. The only downside is that it works fine on my face but causes me to breakout slightly around chin sometimes- so it may not be great for combination skin either- but no complaints ued the product for ages and works wonders - very gentle. Tiny micro beads do not damage the skin - used after steaming face always to avoid skin damage.

Lips -MAC - Tender Tryst See Thru Lip colour

Lovely product, nice gel based formula- doesn't stay on for too longer, but stays on alittle longer than Rimmel etc ; I found the fowmula to stay unless unless I had food/drinks. Really very nice color a plummy/wine shade looks like a berry shade like you just got out of the cold would look great teamed with pink/plum blush - not boring like some lip tints and certainly not flat so a clear lip gloss/balm (for moisture too as its alittle dry like mos stains can be) would go well- formula is not as pigmented as shown when in tube and it is very fresh looking when applied although it has a slight pearly finish unlike many other stains that I have come across. Great for day and night. Pricey for a tiny tube, but a lovely color, I love lip stains as you can team them with different glosses for a lovely shade. The shade can be flattering on various skin tones. LOVE LOVE LOVE

WOW LOVE this PRODUCT- I got the light pink gold version online, this was a limited edition face pallette/blush /eye shadow- I got the pink gold version which has the beautiful light pink gold shade and a mettallic non tacky berry red with a lighter pink and a more matte type of mauve/plum shade all adorable I could just look stare at the shades all day- I got thelighter version as I felt that it would flatter my skintone the most...when applied it gives a real airbrush kind of look the gold in the pink is obvious but not tacky very elegant and an exciting piece to have in any make up bag - These can be used all over the face as blush eye shadow highlighter or even for a summer glow - no mirror (only downside I can think of)- not a big fan of Avon but this is my fav product to date xxx YEY NO NEED TO CARRY AROUND MY CHANEL BLUSH, HIGHLIGHTER AND RMK EYE SHADOW SEPERATELY got it all in... Deffo recommend although I am a NC20 at mo and NC20-25 in Summer- I would recommend the pallette in this shade for fair/light skintones as the pink is v light there are other stunning color ranges although i think it is discontinued now and available via Amazon etc.

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Color Riche Made For Me Naturals (Blondes) - Blush in Nude

I purchased this lipstick after I was unable to buy the MAC Frabby- this is a dupe for Mac Frabby lipstick. It is a lovely cool pink (slight mauve) gold shade although the L'oreal packaging places it in the blondes section (dont be fooled - brunettes can be fair/pale too ) Mac and others do not - I have NC20 skin tone and brown hair and I wear this shade as a nude color or with pink sheer lipgloss(cool toned) to bring out the pink in the lipstick. The lipstick does not need lip gloss it is already nice and moisturizing and quiet glossy. Some may find this to be too frosted, I am not a fan of frosted lip colors but this one is not tacky ; it is a very beautiful shade. I found my nude lip color and I am happy with it however the staying power is not great and the packaging looks alittle dated and tacky for my liking (gold case), it does not look very modern , but the lipstick it self is a gem. A very youthful shade and texture, gives frosting a modern twist.

Hair Styling Tools -Unlisted Brand - Corioliss

WARNING: So I purchased the CORIOLISS C2 irons a few yrs back and even though my straight, fine textured hair did not require such heavy duty straighteners I decided to purchase like teenagers often do when we like the look of something . This produces lovely curls and straightens well - however there are better and more safer products in the market...I can only use the irons on 180dgs max and I did a couple of times my hair looked like it had been given a glossy touch and no serum was needed however over time I realised that each time i used the straightener my hair required a trim as it cause SPLIT ENDS on my long hair, I did not have them before. After some research i have found that titanium plates on the c2 may not be so great for finer hair types. Additionally you have to wear these finger gloves when straightnening or otherwise you could end u with a serious burn so friends must be warned if they come over and want to use your irons otherwise they could end up with a nasty burn too. I found the heat protection spray caused my hair to go stiff and the split ends protector damaged my ends and my hair it was too sticky. I would not recommend these irons to anyone with fine hair and for others I would recommend anything but this as you could seriously burn yourself. TOO EXPENSIVE HAIR DAMGED AFTER EVERY USE AND FELT LIKE IT WAS FRIED. NOT SAFE WHEN EVERYONES IN A RUSH AND THE IRON IS BEING USED BY MULTIPLE PEOPLE OR AROUND CHILDREN. UPDATE: AFTER USING THE GHD HEAT STYLE SPRAY BEFORE STRAIGHTENING HAIR- I NOTICED MY HAIR WAS LESS DAMAGED AFTER STRAIGHTENING IT- THE CORIOLISS PRODUCTS DID NOT WORK AND TURNED MY FINE HAIR INTO A FLAT AND STICKY MESS.

Styling Products -Aussie - Dual Personality Heat Protection

Nice smell but a watery spray can't be sprayed on to dry hair otherwise would have to wait for it to dry because it may damage some straighteners inc high end (I use the corioliss c2) and makes a scary steam type sound when I pass the straightner onto hair after applying this without letting it dry first. Not sure about the protecting properties, I have not noticed and protection WASTE OF MONEY.
