I love the size, texture, and density of this brush. BUT, it has been shedding like crazy! i've had it for a week, and have washed it once. it might just be the 'initial shed' that some brushes go through... so im hoping it will calm down this upcoming week. because i so want to love this brush, its perfect in everyway way other than it just dosnt want to stay together for me :( will update in future
I so badly wanted to buy dandilion by benefit, but the price is horrendous, plus im not a big fan of their products anymore:( i've since converted to EM and am LOVING the blushes, especialy this one, since its dandilions twin! i bought the FULL size of this and use it 6x a week and am guessing will last until summer! i love that its matte and such a soft pink, perfect for that 'snowbunny' look that i love during winter. i am fairly light neutral in their foundation and this looks beautiful on me, lasts ALL DAY!
when i first bought this all i thought was 'eh'... but using it in conjuction with my shesiedo mascara base this gives me the length and volume ive been looking for. alone, it is mediocer. w/ my my prized primer i feel that my left eyelashes look exactly what i have been craving in a mascara, plus the natural seperation. but then again, my right eye lashes look fine, but not like my left ones. SO then i bust out the comb included in the tube. im thinking this has to do with prominante hands or somthing. either way i actualy really like this mascara alot. but definitly not HG. want so badly to get the new CG lash blast. thats tomorrows priority! haha.
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

FANTASTIC! its everything it promises to be. brilliant !
my HG lip plumper. this is the only one the REALLY works for me. it does sting at first, but with continued use i got completely used to it, i got this when it first came out, and havnt bought any since. but i remember loving it, and gettin compliments all the time. ive tried others since, and have only been dissapointed. i have pretty full lps as it is, but this just gives me that angelina pouty mouth that i so envy. now i shall search for one on ebay.
i love the gloss that is just plumper. just straight to the point. to plump. i dont feel that its as good at lip injection which I love, but probably the next best. and a great choice for those with low tolerance to the sting and tingle of Lip Inj. but on the other hand i bought the light pink gloss also with glitter in it. it is grainy and all sorts of horrible. i hate glitter. as with most people lately.. on top of lip injection working amazing for me, i can have some fun..like kiss my unsuspecting boyfriend and watch as he flailes about and freaks out. :)
I bought this in brownish blk and i LIKED it. it gave my lashes a natural tint and thickness without clumps. then i bought shesiedos mascara primer and now i LOVE it. the primer lenghtens my lashes to an extreme and using this with it keeps them seperated, and perfect.HG mascara
this is one of benefits only above satasfactory products.I have a few friends who come over and beg to use this! hahaha :) for awhile i had dry skin and this was my saviour. cheek bones, innner corners of my eyes, and collarbones. my oil production has lately been out of control so i sadly cannot use this :( its gorgeous nonetheless. and still great for a glow to my collar bones and chest. i'll wait and see how my skin is this winter, i still have 1/3 a jar left. this lasts forever.
I worked at a bakery and had to get up really really early to help with kneading bread...i got little sleep and i was miserable. but with eyebright you wouldnt have even known! i got tons of compliments from coworkers when i did wear this, it really perked me up (at least my eyes). i havent repurchased this because the all eyebright really is, just a fancy overpriced tool to put a highlighter in eyecorners and brow bones to awaken your face. this can be achieved for a lot less. thought benefit did introduce me to the concept of light pink brightner.

I have this but put it away because it did nothing for me. which is curious because im fairlylight toned? but i think i made the mistake of using this as a blush/highlighter than what it really is, a face brightner. I am definitly willing to give this another go, especialy with skin dulling winter looming ahead ! ohh the smell is delicious mmmm.
Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Show Offs in Suga [DISCONTINUED]
purepink 10/10/2007 10:12:00 PM
i bought this a long time ago, and always hung onto it, because its just so darn pretty in the tube! (yeah, its a tube. that shows how long i've had it!) but on me...meh.. i havent used it in a while, so i will have to try it out again and then edit later. my past issues with it was that the shimmer that looked like the beautiful deep gold (which is why i got it) didnt have that effect on me unless i piled it on. and pileing on eye shadow is NOT my thing. and applied with a light touch, it came out too orange. i really hate orangey tinted things with my skin tone. And good thing they changed the packaging, because the tube is crap! but oh well, its fall and im sure i can get this too work somehow. i want to love this sooo bad! but if not, it sure does look pretty in my makeup bag :)**EDIT** i just accidently bought an eye shadow from EveryDay Minerals that is MUCH to light(hot chocolate) it turned out to be my skin tone exactly, i was looking for a soft brown, that shows up. i have mixed these two into the most perfect brown shade i could ever want. brilliant. couldnt have worked out better. have lemons? make lemonaid! :)
I got this in my sample kit. thank god. it does not do my fairly light neutral skin any justice. even tho i use a light touch, as with most blushes, this is much too orange. kinda remindes me of MAC margin blush, without the shimmer and a little darker. im sure this is beautiful on warm or slightly tanner skins, but its just not my cup of tea. tho i do like to switch my makeup routine and color up sometimes, so its fun for that. not for daily use, only for rare occasions :)
Primer/ Corrector -Shiseido - The Makeup Pre-Makeup Cream SPF 15
purepink 10/10/2007 5:50:00 PM
I got this as a sample when i bought a lipgloss and mascara base. the tube has a ton, im still going through it. i really wanted a primer because my makeup so easily slips off. no matter what foundation, high end, cheap, powder, liquid, you name it..it came right off. BE prime time broke me out, so i busted out this priming cream, and i love it! it has spf that doesnt burn my skin, and gives me such a smooth surface to work with, which at times can be quite the opposite. makeup stayed right on for a lot longer than usual, and never fell into any creases i may have. unlike prime time. i really love this stuff, i cant afford the jar now, so am using the tube i have sparingly and only on special nights or days...but this will definitly be a future investment of mine.
Makeup Brushes -Chanel - Foundation Brush (Synthetic Fibers)
purepink 10/10/2007 5:44:00 PM
I bought this foundation brush during a chanel makeup binge a few years ago. The SA rationalized the 40$ price tag, as that it will last forever! ive kept good care of it, washing everyother day. I liked it alot, though had never tried any other foundation brushes before. but i ended up not liking the foundation AT ALL, and switched to BE minerals..so i washed the brush, put it into a baggy, and stored it away. i completely forgot about it until now when i heard using a foundation brush with my everyday minerals gives a beautiful look! so i pulled it out of hybernation, and am SOO happy i invested in this years ago! and having developed my makeup knowledge from then, i can give an informed review. great coverage, does not streak, hairs do NOT fall out. if taken care of well, will last longer than anything else in your makeup bag (or drawer :) its just fantastic quality allaround . a high-end, well-made foundation brush is a definite splurge must! and this is one of the best <3
Concealers -Everyday Minerals - Sunlight Color Corrector
purepink 10/7/2007 9:20:00 PM
This concealer is fantastic.! i got this as a free sample and i would not actually buy this because they give you SO MUCH (for free) and for how much you only need to use, it will last at least 8 months! i have medium dark circles and have been looking for an eyecream to fix them. they are hereditary and i know that, just looking for somthing to lighten them. this soft yellow erases them completely for me. i use a eyeshadow brush to lightly put in below my eyes, then over it use my everyday minerals foundation, both of these with a soft touch because i dont want it to crease and instead end up with fine lines that i actualy do not have. yet. or i'll use a little bit of cream concealer before the foundation if i didnt get enough sleep. this stuff is seriously AMAZING! i recommend everyone get this as the concealer in the everyday minerals sample kit because the sample will last forever, or if you are iffy on the concept! you cannot go wrong! HG HG HG!
