i LOVE this brush! i honestly dont know why i havent owned it before 3 weeks ago. i guess i never really knew what i would use it for. i had heard of people using it for liquid foundation but for some reason i just thought that would be a bad idea like there is no way a brush that dense would work right. i dont know what is wrong with me because i tried it for liquid foundation and it works so good. its the best brush i have for liquid foundation. i've also used it to contour and for blush. i prefer it for liquid foundation but its very good at contouring also. i'm thinking of picking up another one. i love it that much! i would definitely recommend owning this brush if you dont. it is pricey but i think its worth it for the results you get! mine also hasn't shed on me once which is a big plus in my book! edit- i've had this now for a few months and it DOES shed, a lot. its still worth it because i love the finish it gives but i just hate that it sheds so bad.
this is my favorite slimshine! in the tube its a gold color with sparkles. it does go on kind of sheer but i like that. the only thing i dont like about slimshines in general is i think they expire before normal lip products would. it must be something about the formula but mine has a weird smell to it. it doesn't taste bad or anything though but it does make me worried to have back ups of this one since i'm pretty sure it is discontinued. if you can get your hands on this i would def recommend it. it goes with everything and its not drying like some of the mac lipsticks and it gives a sort of glossy finish like a lipgloss. its great to just have in your bag for everyday!
finally something from NARS i LOVE!! it does smell like plastic like the others and it is kind of gritty like the others but i love the way it looks on me. i got this in a set that came with a few different colors so i will definitely purchase this in the full size when i run out!
i like this one. i am drawn to the gold/ champagne colored lip glosses. they are my favorite to wear and this one does the job. its suppose to a lip plumper- i dont really notice any plumping of my lips. its expensive and you dont get that much product for the money. the packaging is annoying. you have to twist forever to get a little product and more times than not you have twisted too much out. but again it goes back to the color for me. i love it and i would go through the hassle of the packaging for it. i feel like it lasts longer on my lips than other lipglosses i have. it can be sticky at times so i think this one has pretty equal pros and cons and will be a love it or hate it gloss. i marked i would repurchase but i'm honestly undecided (there should be a maybe option) if i did repurchase it would probably be on impulse but i dont think i would regret it because i do love the color and length of time it stays on!
this is my first and only (so far) dazzleglass creme. its nice. its a light pink color and has some sparkles. it goes on smooth and lasts about 2 hours if your not eating or drinking anything (for me anyway). i love the color but i feel like its pretty dupeable. i'm not running out to get a back up and i dont even know if its permanent or LE so i do really like it but i wouldn't repurchase. however i would purchase other dazzleglass cremes to try out because these are better than the regular dazzleglasses because they are not sticky and that was the one thing i hated about regular dazzleglasses.
this is one of my favorite lipglosses from mac! its a gold/champagne color. it goes on kind of sheer but there are sparkles in the sunlight. to me it feels smooth, not gritty and i like that its somewhat sheer. love it! i will buy it again if it comes out in another colection!
i wanted to love this and i feel like i say that a lot about my NARS products ((maybe i'm just too partial to mac)) but i dont like this one. the color is fine with my skin tone but it smells like plastic and its gritty not smooth. maybe i got a bad one but i just hate this gloss.
first of all i want to start by saying that i bought this on impulse at mac. i have the all the sigma brushes because the mac ones are expensive and sigmas are suppose to be good cheaper alternatives. i actually had this up for swap and came home and found my dog had chewed it up so obviously i couldnt swap it or return it to mac so i just starting using it in place of my sigma 219. i LOVE this brush. i honestly dont know how i lived without it. it is so much better than the sigma one. it is smaller and more tappered and more stiff. it places the color exactly where i want it. my eyes are on the smaller side and i can blend colors in the outer corner so much easier. i can put shadow underneath on my lower lash line and it doesnt go all over the place like it did with the sigma brush.i even think it gives better color pay off too. i'm so happy my dog chewed up the end so i got a chance to fall in love with this lol i am actually thinking of repurchasing so it doesnt have teeth marks all over the end! its def worth the extra money!!
i'm still undecided on this e/s. its pretty in the pan and it is very pigmented but its just kind of "eh". i dont hate it but i dont love it. i dont think it is worth the price at all. i feel this way about a lot of the NARS products i have purchased though. it goes on nice enough and when it blends out you can't see the gold sparkles or glitter chunks. i use it in my crease most of the time but i honestly prefer the browns i have from MAC. in my opinion it is a pretty color but i don't think its worth $22. maybe if it wasn't so expensive i would like it more.
i so wanted to love this e/s. the past 3 times i have been at mac it has caught my eye so the last time i was there i finally gave in and just purchased it. the first red flag should have been the fact it is a lustre. i hate those, but it looks so good in the pan (like a peachy pink with some gold). so i went home and tried to apply it a million different ways. i used every base i own and nothing worked. rubenesque paint pot was the best base because they are really close to being the same color but even that was still awful. its chunky glittery, way too much fall out, and not pigmented at all. even if you try to pack it on all you get is fall out. its not the worst e/s i have ever seen but its close and i'm disapointed because like i said it looks so pretty in the pot but it is all kinds of frustrating to work with and the results are not worth the effort.
my HG blush! i love it. i'm nw 20-25 in mac and it gives my cheeks the perfect flushed look. the blush is expensive but mine has lasted me for over a year and i havent even hit pan yet and i use this at least 4 days a week. it has some shimmer to it but i dont find it to be chunks of glitter. it blends out nicely and just leaves a glow. i would repurchase again and again!
i like this concealer. i've tried most of the ones from mac and this is my second favorite. (first being studio sculpt) it goes on nicely, blends fairly easy and last a long time on my skin. i'm nw20 and i mainly use this under my eyes. i've never tried to nc shade for redness or anything but the nw shade does a nice job of covering any breakouts or redness i have. i have found this to be a little drying and flakey sometimes. it can be a little "cakey" too. i dont really like the pot it comes in. i use to just use my finger to apply and there is a big dip in the middle and now if i tried to use my finger the product would get under my fingernails which is gross so now i have to use concealer brush, which maybe i should have been using all along because it honestly blends better that way. overall i would repurchase if my mac was out of studio sculpt or i decided to try the nc shade for redness.
i love this concealer. its creamy and blends really nicely and easily. it goes on smooth and i dont think it ever looks "cakey" on my skin. i use the nc20 on any redness or breakouts and the nw20 underneath my eyes. i usually just apply it with my fingers or a 217 brush from mac. that makes it blend even better into my skin. definitely my HG concealer.
i love love LOVE this mascara. it gives my lashes volume and length without them looking to "spidery". it is expensive for a mascara and i usual stick to drug store mascaras becuase they work just as good for the most part but i will definitely repurchase this one!
i love these things. they are my favorite product mac has ever came out with! they are the first thing i put on my lips in the morning and the last thing i put on before i go to bed. they condition my lips and leave them feeling great. i love that they have spf too which makes them perfect especially in the summer time when you are at the pool or beach. i think at one point i have owned every single one! my favorites are shush, tread gently and honey bare. the only negative thing i can say about them is they are not very pigmented but i love them either way!
