Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Caresse in Sunset Angora

This leans more towards a gorgeous, highly-pigmented balm than a lipstick. In that way, it reminds me of another favorite of mine--the Korres lip butter in Pomegranate. I can slap this on without even looking in the mirror for a nice touch of color when I'm going to they gym or grocery store, or anywhere else where I'm probably not wearing real makeup but want to just perk my face up a bit. I like this a lot and will buy it again when I run out of it.
Lips -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain (All Shades)

I have a few of these stains and I must say, they last like nobody's business. The colors are gorgeous and boy, do they stay put. The thing that puts me off of them is the smell. I don't usually mind products that have a strong scent. But, this makes me feel slightly sick to my stomach the first five minutes of wear. It's almost as though I have doused my lips in rose-scented perfume. I'm going to finish the ones that I have because I really do like the look they provide. But, I wouldn't buy them again because I dislike feeling sick until they dry down. So sad!
I use this product primarily for a primer. My eyelids are very oily despite the rest of my skin being fairly dry. On my skin, this is far superior to the UD primer, or any other primer I have tried for holding my shadows in place. This stuff enables me to escape some of the dreaded fallout I have with my shimmery and glittery shadows. Sometimes, I wear it alone with just a bit of mascara. I won't ever stop buying this.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Lipstick in Golden Splendor

This is a really useful lipstick. It goes on pretty sheer but does have enough color to show up on my lips. Though I sometimes wear it on its own, I usually prefer to layer it with another lipstick (Honolulu Honey in particular).
This is my favorite mascara because it's the only one I have tried that is truly waterproof. My eyes water a lot and by the middle of the day I usually have raccoon eyes. But, this particular formulation works better than some of my high end mascaras like Dior or Benefit. It does take a bit of work to get off at night. But, since it stays put so well I don't mind that.
Because this color is so odd, I suspect that NARS will break my heart by discontinuing it. This looks like a color nobody should wear except for on Halloween. In fact, I got my first tube of it as part of a sampler set. I would not have chosen it for myself otherwise. But, this silvery beige gloss is a thing of beauty. I am always on the hunt for lip products that can do anything that comes close to helping me achieve a nude lip. My lips are quite dark. However, I love to wear this with MAC Myth to achieve a gorgeous, neutral lip perfect for cool-toned ladies. The only complaint I have about it (and it's not major) is that it is quite sticky. I wish I could have the color of this gloss with the texture of the Chanel Glossimers.
I have a ton of lipsticks, and this is by far one of my favorites. It's a peachy nude that looks great with my pale skin. To make it work on my pigmented lips, I first put on a layer of L'Oreal Golden Splendor lipstick, top it with Honolulu Honey and then finish it off with NARS Gold Digger gloss. I'm in love and will repurchase when I run out of this tube.
I really wanted to like this lipstick. Probably the only reason that I don't like it is because my lips are too pigmented for it to show up properly. On me, it just looks like I'm wearing chapstick. But, like my other NARS lipsticks, it is very moisturizing and even someone with dry lips could wear it without balm underneath.
Eye Shadow -Tarte - Eye Couture natural eye palette

Out of all the palettes I own (including the legendary Naked Palettes) this is my favorite. The thing is huge--you're probably not going to be able to tote it around in your makeup bag. But, the shadows are beautifully pigmented and long-lasting. I have oily eyelids and these shadows stay on all day even without a primer. I would repurchase!
I can't decide how I feel about this foundation. It has a lovely finish when I first put it on and the color match is very good. I have pale skin with strong red undertones and this can sometimes be difficult to match. But, as the day wears on, I think this foundation settles into my skin in a way that is kind of unflattering. It draws attention to my dry spots. I also find it a little difficult to buff in when I'm first putting it on my face. Maybe as I play with it a bit more I'll come up with a more satisfactory way to wear it. However, since it is so fussy, I don't reach for it as often as I do some of my other foundations.
I like this product, but I don't love it. As far as highlighters go, I prefer my Benefit High Beam. But, this is a gorgeous compact, and the powder is lovely and finely milled. I know everyone says to apply it with a light hand. But, since I always have to buck the trend, I actually swirl both sides together and set my foundation with it. I am unsure if I will repurchase this yet. However, there is such a generous amount of product in the package, I have a long time to make up my mind about that.
This is the most flattering blush I own. As a matter of fact, when I'm not sure what color of blush to wear, I reach for this. When one looks at me--very pale, but really florid as well--this blush shouldn't make sense on my face. However, whenever I wear it, I get tons of compliments about my skin. Even though I wear this blush a lot, I have had my container of it for years without hitting pan. I love this stuff!
This lipstick looks a bit scary in the tube; the lady at the MAC counter tried to talk me out of trying it on at all. However, on my pigmented lips it translates to a beautiful, bright (but not overwhelming) pinky coral. I like to wear a neutral eye and a bright lip. Though I am in a conservative profession, I can still wear this to work and look polished. I will definitely buy again!
Tinted Moisturizer -Bobbi Brown - Tinted Moisturizer - New Formula 2011

I love, love, love this product. I have very sensitive dry skin that is prone to acne when irritated. In addition, I have strong pink undertones to my skin that seem to render every foundation a funny color of yellow or orange. I wear this as foundation, and it provides a decent amount of coverage for a tinted moisturizer. It tones down my redness without making me look too matte or "done." I just go back over any places that need a spot more coverage with a dab of concealer.
Meh. This stuff smells nice and tastes good. I have the coral version, and I think it's a pretty color on my pigmented lips. But, I don't find that it moisturizes as well as my Carmex, and certainly not as well as any of my better lip balms. The thing that prevents me from being totally neutral about it and sends me all the way into dislike is that it actually chaps my lips. A few other reviewers mentioned a similar thing, and I do have sensitive skin, so it wouldn't be unheard of for me to have a reaction. I just didn't like this product.
