Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil

I quite liked this, it's fairly moisturising, but the results are not that long lasting. It leaves a little color, my lips are very pigmented, so it's usually very difficult for me to wear any colour, but this actually looked ok. I totally hated the clashing red lid and yellow tube, usually I don't care about packaging, but for some reason, this really bothered me! Probably won't repurchase.
Gels/Soaps -Unlisted Brand - Organic Surge Citrus Mint Shower Gel

This was a pretty nice shower gel. It's very gentle and natural. The scent is very minty more than citrus, so it's nice and refershing in the morning. Probably wouldn't repurchase, as I have so many more favourites!
Eye Makeup Remover -Johnson & Johnson - 3in1 Eye Make-up Remover Lotion
pixielu 1/5/2009 7:13:00 AM
I really like this. It totally removes eyeliner and mascara really quickly and gently. It's a little oily if you use too much and it can be easy to pour too much out of the bottle, but it's so cheap, that doesn't really bother me. It conditions the eyelashes as well, so I have had no lash loss since using this.
I thought that this was a pretty average shampoo. It did an ok job of cleaning my hair, but it left it REALLY tangled, I had to use A LOT of conditioner to sort it out. It did smell good tho! Would not repurchase.
Mascara -Yves Saint Laurent - Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils

This is by far my favourite mascara. I have tried so many and they have all fallen short, but this one is fabulous. It's really buildable, so you can have quite dramatic lashes or they can also look natural if you prefer. It doesn't smudge or flake and holds curl really well. Also its a beautiful rich black. AMAZING! I do have to agree with the other reviewers who say that this does dry out, but as I always change my mascara after 3 months, that doesn't bother me too much.
Wow I thought this was really awful, and I had such high hopes! The scent was light and refreshing, but for a body butter the moisturising levels were just average. Also it was extremely matte, so it was difficult to rub in and also left a sticky residue. yuck!
Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - Louise Galvin - Pure Shine Shampoo for Normal Hair

This is a very natural product. The scent is slightly grapefruity. The poo itself is very thin, and I needed to wash my hair twice if I had used products, to get my hair really clean. I thought it was just ok, and wouldn't repurchase.
This is a very nice moisturiser. It's very light, but still provided enough moisturiser for my combination / normal skin. I'm not super keen on the texture, which I think is a bit matte, I definately prefer something with a bit more slip. But this would be great if the weather was very warm, but I live in the UK, so mainly it's cold here! I probably wouldn't repurchase, and I much prefer the Dr H Rose light moisturiser
This is a lovely gently cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling soft and also moisturised. However I think that it is a little too gentle and sometimes I feel when I use this, that I need to wash my face twice to get thoroughly clean, so for that reason I woudn't repurchase.
This is a decent basic conditioner, nothing to get excited about but does the job. However I love the corresponding shampoo.
I really like this poo. It lathers well, even tho it's a pretty natural product, and smells kinda citrusy. Its cleans my hair well, without weighing it down or drying it out, plus it's pretty cheap. Will repurchase.
So this is described as: A highly active but ultra gentle gel that contains healing as well as antiseptic herbs and essential oils to reduce spots super fast without drying or irritating. Aloe repairs & reduces redness while Tea Tree, Manuka and Lavender provide a strong but gentle antiseptic action. Propolis, Echinacea & Marigold soothe & repair. Cedarwood balances oil production keeping oily T Zone under control. Anyway I get the odd random spot, nothing major, but this stuff really helps to heal them fast, and it also reduces redness. Smells pretty good too! Will definitely repurchase.
I thought that this was better than most mascaras that I have tried. But I have yet to find one that I will stick to. This left my lashes looking very natural, but unfortunately it sometimes irritated my eyes, and also it didn't hold the curl. Also it wasn't glossy enough for my liking! Still worth trying but not for me.
I like this a lot, it's very moisturing for a shower gel, but also lathers well. The scent is light and refreshing. I probably won't repurchase, but only because I much prefer the scent of the seabuckthorn shower gel in this range.
Moisturizers -The Organic Pharmacy - Rose Rejuvenating Cream
pixielu 9/1/2008 7:51:00 AM
I generally have loved all of the Organic Pharmacy products that I have tried, but this was totally average for me. I think it was just a bit too light for my skin, even though my skin type is normal / combination and so I thought that this would be good but it just really didn't moisturise enough. They do suggest that you mix this with 2 drops of the Antioxidant Face Firming Serum before applying which I didn't do, so maybe that's why this didn't really work for me.
