Bit dissapointed. I was expecting this magical product that is as gentle as water but still removes stubborn quickly. Unfortunately, though it does remove makeup, its not as effective as my loreal oil-based eye makeup remover/ plain olive oil for removing mascara from the lashline. I also used it to remove UD 24/7 from my waterline and it stung my eyes, even after washing out my eyes with water and 9 hours later, they still feel irritated. I wish I'd bought the smaller bottle instead of assuming I would definitely love it like some youtube gurus. Guess I'll just have to make the most of it.
I love it but it smells sickly. I used this on natural hair and put my air up in a bun, I love how neat and 'slicked back' it makes my bun look, not the frizzy, dry hot mess it usually does... but I hate the smell, its really stong and sickly IMHO, like cheap perfume .. and the smell lasts quite a while unfortunately . Kinda makes me feel self concious when getting close to people and makes me feel a bit nauseous.. I can't wait for my wash day.. i'll have to hunt for something that does the same thing but has a better scent.. what a shame . Update.. so I figured out I was using way too much than it was designed for :) , thats why it smelled so strong. Guess I could get the more moisturing version next time. Pros: Tames afro hair doesn't smell bad after a while ( like EVOO) makes detangling easier hair does appear a little straighter Con: strong smell, so you need to use a little
I was really underwhelmed by this, yes it is creamy and decently pigmented but staying power was pretty bad. I like my winged liner to have a nice sharp point and stay nice and crisp all day but this fades really easily. Not worth the money IMO
I highly recommend this- I don't really like it for applying eyeshadow but its lovely for highlighting the brow bone. Get this - even if you don't like it as an eyeshadow brush, I'm sure you'll love it for something else - and its SO CHEAP !!

I really don't like this to be honest. Its too thick and way too stiff. I tried using it for gel liner, eyeshadow and even lipstick but I hated it for all those things . I still love elf though.
I'm NC43, I thought it would be a good crease colour but its too light unfortunately and I find it quite useless since its my exact natural lid colour . Can't really fault it for that obviously, but yeah, not a great crease colour you NC43s out there .
I really don't understand the hype with this. using my fingers or even a sponge tip packs on way more colour without wasting half the precious eyeshadow into the bristles. I love my 217 and 219 but I rarely use this, I just use my fingers instead, which is a shame considering how expensive it was.

I have long natural afro hair that is really dry , this is the only conditioner that seems to work , my hair looks a lot healthier, less dry and it also seems softer and less brittle- my only wish is that it would be as 'slippery' as john frieda straight which made detangling a breeze but sadly seemed to make my hair more brittle and dry . I'd really recommend this- for ALL types of hair that's dry .
Horrible. This was my first ever MAC product and to be honest, its worse than the drugstore ones I've tried . It smudges , transfers and smears so easily and looks so ridiculous its embarrassing ... but yet its stubborn to wash off completely with facial wash. do yourself a favour and at least get the powerpoint eye pencils which are waterproof.. or better yet, get Urban decay 24/7 . x
Cute bottle, lovely scent. Reminds me of that gorgeous dolled up girl who passes by you get a whiff of perfume, face powder and hairspray. I think it'd be especially nice for the winter. only thing is that I feel its not that strong and you need to constantly keep spritizing...not good considering how pricey it is .
If you blend it with a white eyeshadow, you don't get grey.. you get baby blue :( . black tied it better ( and its actually black not blue-black so it blends into a grey) but just know black tied its not as pigmented since its a velvet.
This is everything I wanted carbon to be. I had carbon for over a year but it looked too heavy and its actually a very dark blue-black so when you pair it with a white, it blends out to a baby blue.. hello '80s !) . If I had to make the perfect eyeshadow It would be this but just a tad bit more pigmented and with no sparkles.
I really wanted a change from my flowery scents. Something clean and refreshing to cut through a hot, sticky summer's day . after debating for ages, I got it, but I only wore it once. something about it is quite 'spicy' kinda like when you smell chilli powder and it kinda stings your nose and the back of your throat. what a shame :( .
one of the most overrated products I've used. I thought the point of top coats was to make your nail polish last LONGER ? this makes my polish peel off and in fact, it stays on longer without any top coat than with this ( I've tried it with o.p.i and with barry m ). It does give a glassy finish and possibly makes it dry faster, I'll give it that... but It was a waste of money. Edit: after reading the 'most helpful' reviews , it seems that it doesn't peel if you apply it when your polish is still WET.. i didn't do this because I find that the polish gets on the brush and I don't want to contaminate my topcoat with a colour.. I'll give it another chance and update. Edit: I have to sheepishly update my review, I love this now, It makes my nail polishes that I've glooped on dry a lot faster I think the key is to apply it to nail polish that hasn't dried. I love this now
I'm NC43, I have no. 52 and I think it looks so cute on (If i do say so myself ) . I've actually JUST noticed that it says 'filled with glints of sunshine' and realised its got a little gold shimmer in it ( dammit drugstores) but its not that noticable . Update: Unfortunately I figured out that it breaks me out really easily even if I only have it on for a short while so 2 lippies off.
