Bronzers -Hard Candy - So Baked Bronzer, Tiki
rated 5 of 5

Since I like Hard Candy in Honeymoon so much I decided to purchase this which can be used as a highlighter. This gives such a beautiful luminous glow, I've been reaching for this more than my Dior Amber Diamond. Dior has more golden bronze undertone but Tiki basically does the same thing, great job at highlighting.

Makeup Brushes -Unlisted Brand - Paris Presents - High Definition Angled Blush Brush
rated 5 of 5
makeupaddict76 2/2/2012 12:36:00 PM

I decided to purchase the Walmart HD angled blush brush since I was pleased with other HD eye brushes I have purchased before. This is an amazing brush, so soft, dense and only cost $6. I can almost compare this to the Sephora Platinum #55 airbrush which is my go to foundation brush, they are very different in shape but does the same thing. I tested this brush for applying my most finicky Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation and it does the job. The ferrule and the handle feels cheap, I don't think it's made of wood so I'm not exactly sure how it will hold up after washes but so far it's been great! I'm definitely getting backups.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Super Stay 14 Hr
rated 3 of 5
makeupaddict76 2/2/2012 12:15:00 PM

I thought I try their nude colors, Never Ending Nude and Beige Forgood. Even though I love my nudes, Beige Forgood is too browny, makes me look corpse like but I did like how it didn't have any glitter unlike Never Ending Nude. I like the Never Ending Nude color better, a nude, your lips but better color but major glitter city! I'm not too pleased with the smell, it's suppose to be candy-like but somewhat weird plasticky smell. A little disappointed in the colors but I must say staying power is pretty impressive, not 14 hrs but pretty long time even w/drinking and eating. I didn’t find these to dry out or flake on my lips but would not recommend if you have dry lips. I still want to try the shade Perpetual Peony since it's suppose to be dupe for MAC snob.

Polishes -Revlon - nail enamel in naughty
rated 5 of 5
makeupaddict76 2/2/2012 11:50:00 AM

Another fav Revlon polishes, a dark shimmery purple with greyish taupey undertones, beautiful when light hits it. Great if you tell me it's a dupe for Chanel polish for a fraction of the price.

Polishes -L'Oreal - Colour Riche VIP Status
rated 5 of 5
makeupaddict76 2/2/2012 11:20:00 AM

I saw kandeej wearing this in her video and the same week noticed display of all the new L'oreal Colour Riche nail polishes at my CVS. Application is ok, formula isn't too difficult, opaque with 2-3 coats but lasts a really longtime w/out chipping. A deep steel gray with micro shimmer, nice shine w/out the topcoat but I always use it w/my Seche Vite topcoat.

Polishes -Revlon - Vixen

I've been really impressed with Revlon polishes lately, this is another fav Revlon polishes, a deep burgundy wine color which I can't get enough of. I don't mind that Revlon polishes have thinner formula since I feel it's easier to built it up. Color is vampy and sexy, will work with all skintones.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Insta-Dri - Bronze Ablaze
rated 2 of 5
makeupaddict76 2/2/2012 10:15:00 AM

For someone who's been totally obsessed with bronzed eye shadows, I was immediately attracted to the beautifully bronzed color of this Sally Hansen Bronze Ablaze. I don't own too many Sally Hansen polishes since I do not like their brushes but I had to get this beautiful metallic complex duochrome shade, it's truly unique and I don't have anything like it. Again I do love this color but the brush is difficult to work with. I'm not sure if the formula is difficult as well since I don't own too many SH polishes but formula seems thick and goopy. Even with the top coat, it started chipping after few days.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Bad to the Bronze / on and on bronze
rated 5 of 5
makeupaddict76 1/26/2012 11:39:00 AM

This is an outstanding cream shadow! I've been really loving cream eye shadows, especially bronze or taupe colors and the Maybelline Bad to the Bronze beats out some of the high end cream shadow and costs fraction of the price. Bad to the Bronze was sold out everywhere so it took me a while but finally got my hands on this. Compared to some of my other cream eyeshdows such as MUFE #15 $22, Jouer organza $20, NARS Mykonos $23, Benefit Birthday Suit $19, Bad to the Bronze is only $6-8, very pigmented and has the best lasting power.

Lips -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Balm
rated 4 of 5
makeupaddict76 1/26/2012 9:40:00 AM

Since I already own 4 Revlon lip butters and I heard these were similar, I only ended up getting two to try, Tender Mauve and Heavenly Berry. I did like the Revlon lip butters since they were pigmented but I do likes these better even though they are little bit sheer. I'm in love with the Tender Mauve, which looks more mauve in the tube but on my lips comes off beautiful pinky nude color, your lips but better with warm mauvey undertones. Revlon lip butters are smooth but sometimes accentuates flakey cracks on your lips if your lips are dried out. L'oreal balm does a better job and moisturizing my lips and doesn't feel as thick as the Revlon lip butters. I wish it lasted on my lips longer..

Brows -Maybelline - Master Shape
rated 4 of 5
makeupaddict76 1/10/2012 10:10:00 AM

I'm loving this brow pencil! Bit of a waxy texture but glides on super smooth, pigmented, really easy and fast to apply when you're on the go. And finally a spoolie that is actually useful, not scratchy and rough on the skin but a great size to brush my brows. Con is sharpening too often.

Mascara -Revlon - Photoready 3D Volume
rated 2 of 5
makeupaddict76 1/10/2012 9:56:00 AM

I need a miracle on my pathetic short straight lashes and since this was on sale for $5.99 @ CVS, I gave it a go. It does a great job at lengthening but it weighs down my lashes. I usually purchase waterproof formula but I'm not sure if this is not working for me since it's not waterproof. I started using on top of my waterproof Maybelline FnS, it's been working ok.

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Bouncy Blush
rated 1 of 5
makeupaddict76 1/10/2012 9:47:00 AM

Concept is unique, literally bouncy springy texture, something I've never seen before but Orchid Hush didn't show up on my NC30-35 skin. I had to dig my fingers to get some product on and it didn't go smoothly on my skin. I heard that Hot Tamale and Plum Wine are definitely more pigmented but I rather not waste another $8

Bronzers -Christian Dior - Dior Bronze Matte Sunshine SPF 20
rated 5 of 5
makeupaddict76 1/10/2012 9:36:00 AM

Very friendly Dior SA applied color 002 all over my face, neck and around my cheeks with a fluffy brush. It gave me a beautiful natural glow even though it doesn't have any shimmer and looked great as a blush. But since I wanted something a little darker for contouring and to use for summer, I purchased 003 Amber Matte. It definitely not too dark for winter, gives me beautiful matte finish.

Polishes -Essie - Damsel in a Dress
rated 5 of 5
makeupaddict76 1/10/2012 9:15:00 AM

I love dark, almost black purple polishes such as OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark, Siberian Nights, Essie's Carry On, Little Brown Dress, but they were all starting to look the same, dull, leaning towards black. Damsel in a dress is a beautiful deep purple with a nice sheen. It has better lasting power than some of the other dark Essie polishes. Finally something a little different!

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Infallible Eyeshadow - Bronzed Taupe
rated 5 of 5
makeupaddict76 1/6/2012 10:02:00 AM

I purchased 6 of the infallible eyeshadows but the Bronzed Taupe and Iced Latte is my favs. I love love anything taupey e/s, I have few cream taupey eyeshadows from varies brands such as Benefit, NARS, Jouer, MUFE, but Bronzed Taupe has to be my fav! Without any primers, it stays on my oily lids for 10 hrs, slightly start creasing after 12 hrs, amazing. Beautiful shimmery taupe, extremely pigmented, hard to get it off even w/soap. I've been wearing this almost everyday, I haven't even tried other colors. Packaging is sturdy but will see how long it lasts w/out drying since pot products tend to due so.
