Lipstick -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Honey
rated 5 of 5

Honey was the colour that I was most excited about from this collection. It is a gorgeous mauvey-pink that's not quite a "nude" but close to it. I love it because it gives just enough colour, but it isn't too light like some nudes. I have bought eight of these so far, and plan on buying two more. They are by far the best lip product I have tried in quite some time. You can choose easily how vibrant the colour is (you can apply just a little for a nice hint of colour, or apply it in layers to build it up). I have found that regular lip stains dry out your lips horribly, and settle into any cracks you may have. This is not the case with these balm stains- these go on just like a moisturizing lipstick. They have a glossy sheen to them and over time the colour fades into a stain. It is a very natural looking stain and it looks gorgeous. I love how they won't come off your lips- so they definitely are "kissable"! They smell of mint at first, but the smell fades quickly. Also, they are tasteless (which is definitely better than having an awful taste like most lip products). Also, the packaging is perfect because there is no need for a sharpener- it just twists up. I am so glad that I tried these stains! None of them have been a disappointment so far, so I am going to continue to buy and use these!

This is one of my favourite colours of this product. It is a very pretty cherry red, that you can put on so it's very light, or you can build it up to a darker colour. Fades beautifully into a stain, I have bought eight of these so far, and plan on buying two more. They are by far the best lip product I have tried in quite some time. Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- Rendezvous
rated 4 of 5

Absolutely love these lip balm stains! Rendevous is a orange colour, but it is not nearly as harsh of an orange as it looks to be on the packaging. It just gives you a nice coral tint, that you can build up easily if you so wish by just applying more. I have bought eight of these so far, and plan on buying two more. They are by far the best lip product I have tried in quite some time. You can choose easily how vibrant the colour is (you can apply just a little for a nice hint of colour, or apply it in layers to build it up). Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - Taylor Swift Wonderstruck
rated 4 of 5

This is a very nice perfume put out by Taylor Swift. A fruity-musky-floral, and it is not as "young" smelling as I thought it would be, it's definitely more sophisticated. I know we sold a lot of this fragrance at my work, and I bought the roller ball. My biggest peeve with this perfume is the lasting power. After an hour or two, you really can't smell it. So, if you are interested in buying this perfume, I'd recommend the roller ball so you can re-apply it often.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Meow EDP by Katy Perry
rated 4 of 5

I really love this scent by Katy Perry. It is a very young, sweet smelling perfume that I describe best as a "cotton candy" scent. I have found the lasting power quite good, and it's definitely a good summer perfume. It is definitely a lot different than her other perfume "Purr", as that one is more sultry and nighttime. If you are looking for a more sophisticated scent, I wouldn't go with this one, but if you're looking for something light and playful then I would definitely recommend! Also, the bottle is adorable- it's a little pink cat.

Eyeliner -Kat Von D - Tattoo Liner
rated 3 of 5
loriann52 8/24/2012 9:13:00 AM

I am pretty disappointed in this liner, as I had super high hopes for it. It definitely has pros and cons, but for me it just isn't worth the $22 I spent on it. I don't dislike it enough to return it, but I won't be buying it again. I bought this liner for the sole reason that it was supposed to be waterproof. It definitely is NOT waterproof. If your eyes tear up a little tiny bit, it doesn't really affect it, but any more than that and it'll be completely wiped out. They really should not be able to market it as a waterproof product, because it definitely is not. It does have good qualities too though- it goes on in a very thin line, and is very easy to apply. The black could be a bit darker, but the colour is still fine. It also lasts better than most liners- I find it more smudge-proof. So if you're looking for an eyeliner that goes on easily and doesn't really smudge I would recommend this, but if you want something truly waterproof, I would not.

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Stain Balm- Sweetheart
rated 5 of 5
loriann52 8/17/2012 4:39:00 PM

This is an absolutely perfect product. I never tried lipstains before, as I have only ever heard bad things about them. This is completely different than a typical stain, because it doesn't dry out your lips at all. It gives a flush of colour (which you can build up or just put it lightly on for a hint of colour). It looks like lipstick when you first apply it, but as it wears off it just looks like your lips are that colour. "Stain" is the perfect word to describe it. It lasts for hours, and it's definitely "kissable" as well, as it won't come off your lips. It smells kind of odd and minty at first, but the smell fades quickly. I also have found that this product is tasteless (which I find good, because I've encountered many lip products that taste disgusting). I also find it super easy to apply, because the packaging is perfect. The tip makes it easy to line your lips and fill them in. I have bought six shades of these now. This colour is a fairly bright pink (not as bright as Smitten or Lovestruck). It's fairly loud, but not too out there. I really like it, especially after it fades a bit, because it looks just like a pinky tint.

As for this particular colour, it is a wine-raspberry colour. It isn't bright, unlike most of these lip balm stains, which I found nice. I really don't see why people are calling this colour "gothy" as I don't find it dark at all. These people are probably just building up the colour a lot by putting too much product on. I find it the perfect amount of colour, and its berry tone is very nice. The colour lasts for hours (I've been wearing mine for 5.5hrs and it still looks awesome). Buy these!!!

Polishes -OPI - Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI?
rated 5 of 5
loriann52 8/13/2012 11:44:00 PM

Such a perfect purple. Very similar to "Funky Dunky" from OPI's Shrek Collection, but this one has like a goldy shimmer to it. Here's the breakdown: Colour: 5/5 Application: 4.5/5 The colour is a gorgeous medium purple with a hint of gold shimmer. Very very pretty. The application was very good. Completely opaque in two coats, quick drying time.

Polishes -OPI - Fresh Frog Of Bel Air
rated 3 of 5
loriann52 8/12/2012 12:30:00 PM

Colour: 3/5 Application: 2/5 So, like the other glitters in the Muppets Collection, this is much better used as a top coat. It is a gorgeous green glitter with some silver hexagonal chunks. It can be built up and worn alone, but it is much easier just to put a couple of layers over a green polish. It takes about 4 or 5 coats to build up by itself.

Polishes -OPI - Pedal Faster Suzi!
rated 2 of 5
loriann52 8/3/2012 4:26:00 PM

This is a girly baby pink from the Holland collection. It is quite bright, and has a bit of shimmer. Here's the breakdown: Colour- 2/5 Application 3.5/5 Colour: I was incredibly disappointed in the colour turnout of this polish. I thought it was going to be a pretty pale pink with a shimmer, but it turned out to be this tacky baby pink. It looks plastic-y and cheap. I think this is the most disappointed in any OPI I've ever tried. Application: It took three coats to make it opaque. Not a nightmare to apply or anything, though. This polish is worth it, if you like the bright-baby-pink. I just personally hate it.

Polishes -OPI - I Don't Give a Rotterdam
rated 4 of 5
loriann52 7/29/2012 11:03:00 PM

This is a gorgeous colour from the Holland collection. It is like a darm periwinkle blue. Very similar to "I Have a Herring Problem" from the same collection, but that polish has more of a turquiose-y tone to it, and this one does not. Here's my breakdown: Colour: 5/5 Application: 3/5 The application wasn't great. It took three coats, and there were a couple of nails that looked like they could use a forth. It was far from the worst application I've ever experienced, but it doesn't apply as nicely as other OPIs. That being said, the colour payoff was well worth the application- I'd definitely reccommend!

Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
rated 4 of 5
loriann52 7/27/2012 10:05:00 PM

So far so good with this primer. I still feel like I need to try it out more before I make a full judgement on it, but as of right now I am satisfied. Here's a bit of a background for me. My eyelids absorb all eyeshadow- I've always had a problem with it. I have tried three eye primers before this one and hated them all (Revlon, Stay Don't Stray, and Gosh). They just made the problem worse, and creased my shadow more. I have found that this makes my eyeshadows look more vibrant. I haven't worn this for 12+ hours yet, but I've worn it for about 8 and my shadow hasn't faded/creased. I even wore it swimming once, and I came out of the water, looked at my eyes, and my shadow was still on! (It wasn't waterproof shadow either). So, yes I am very satisfied with this so far. If I find it continues to work, I will definitely repurchase. Another thing I like about this primer is the packaging- the tube makes it very easy to control how much product comes out.
