well i don't think this is too bad at all! ok, so it is very strong smelling. but for me, this one doesn't strip my face, or sting. i think i've gotten used to it. it does clean out my pores very well and clears out acne. its also not a complete pain to use. so really, i don't have major issues with this stuff.
Well, lancome mascara in general is pretty good, but I'm never super impressed. L'oreal has wowed me further. But, I have to give it credit for decent lengthening, ok volumizing and creating staying power and colour. But, I honestly would not pay the price for this kind of mascara (mine was gwp).
Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Starbucks - Napkins

hahaha of course starbucks napkins are first on MUA's top picks! well, these napkins are much better than tim hortons mapkins in my opinion. and plus, not only are they free, they're from starbucks, made out of recycled paper and they really work quite well for oil blotting. those are some top-notch napkins! also, starbucks is only a kilometre away from my house xD
Goods: -not super pricey -very smooth, glides on -good coverage -matte -doesn't really cause breakouts not so goods: -splotchy, uneven application -sometimes rubs off/doesn't last super long -looks greasy after a short time overall, not really impressed. a solid product that i think is overhyped up (or at least it is overhyped by my friends)
Woww... Just wow. This is just sugary stuff. It smells sweet and makes you smell like sugar for a while. Its also very strong. All I can say... smells yummy at first until the sugar smell starts making you feel sick.
I got this completely free, not a gwp, and i really like it. It retails for about 7-8 dollars, which is okay too. The tube is cute, and the tube is nice and convenient for application, but there's nothing special about the gloss except for the taste and smell, mmmm vanilla. Mines in bright pink but its very very sheer and not very sparkly, shimmery or shiny. Its fairly moisturizing, and i'd say i'd buy it again just for the smell! So overall, a decent everyday gloss.
oh cherry chapstick, you made my lip area break out! ew! i like the smell, i don't like the oiliness or waxiness though. go for blistex in stead. x_x unless you like healed, but still gross and broken out mouth areas,
errr.... chapstick is made ym blistex? anyways, I don't like cherry chapstick nearly as much as blistex. okay, so its not the medicated smell that attracts me to the latter. but, this stuff is too waxy and oily! Imaine when you pull it out of your pocket and there's a thick layer of oil sitting on top of your chapstick. ew. and also, once i put it on my lips and i suppose it must have slightly got off my lips, because it made me break off right around my lips. it was the most disgusting brekaout i've ever had. so seriously... it may be cheap but blistex is cheap too, and better. I do have to give this stuff credit for healing and preventing further chapping.
Almost the same colours as the chocolate mousse trio, which i also have. As usual with maybelline eyshadows, it will crease and smudge, and come off. However, i've been having better luck with these eyshadows lately, i think these deserve 4 lippies now because of: -the colours (mmm the creamy-white-beigebrown and the medium browns, and the dark brown look great) -the ability to look nice wetted as eyeliner -the blendibility -the price.
Shampoo -Head and Shoulders - Smooth and Silky 2 in 1

This is my favourittee! I actually had HORRIBLE dandruff before i started using this, literally the size of corn flakes. I'm not joking. Well, not only did this solve the dandruff problem, it also made my obnoxious split ends ten times nicer. My hair is really soft and smooth, even without conditioner. However, if you want it truly moisturized, i'd recommend that you do use separate conditioner afterwards. Doesn't really make a huge difference in my hair except for that it gets less tangly. Now, i don't think gross scalps when i think head and shoulders, i think of my hair and the wonders it has done for it ♥♥♥
best. eyeliner. ever. pros: universally flattering colour goes on very smoothly not smudgy or flaky lasts a long time won't run out for a long, long time good for wearing anytime cons: nothing that i can think of. except maybe the price, but it doesn't really matter because if you always keep the lid on it won't run out for approx. 2-3 years i'm guessing.
I really, really like this stuff, i like it even better than lancome defincils which happen to be an industry favourite. The best drugstore mascara, period. I never put on a lot of mascara, my lashes are very short and straight and i've pretty much accepted the fact that i can't really change them. However, voluminous can hold a curl and somewhat lengthen and volumize too! I generally don't put on enough for it to clump. Plus, the price is cheaper than clinique and lancome mascaras. Buying again, as long as i don't find another better mascara!
This is my favourite bronzer, ever! The packaging is great, unless you drop it a lot, in which the tin will dent. I really like the nice round surface that i can swirl my brush around in! On my (NC35) skin, its not too shimmery or orange. It has a very nice, buildable colour that i find i can never really overdo. It also gives you a really nice glow, even if its dreary outside. I'd definitely recommend this, and rebuy it if i can find it!
Gels/Soaps -Dove - Moisturizing Body Wash - "Deep Moisture"

My sister bought 2 big bottles of this at costco, so she gave one to me. I think that this stuff works pretty well, it makes my skin smooth and soft. Not a wonder worker, but its still nice. The scent is very crisp and clean, so its not obnoxious and fruity like some other body washes... It doesn't lather as well as my olay body wash. It does give more moisture though. Overall, I'd say great for all skin types, something i might buy again if there's a costco coupon.
I remember i had a perfume love affair with this stuff at about age 5. Now, I think back and now i think that it wasn't all that special. its a very simple citrusy smell that isn't very me, and it doesn't last me until lunch at school! :( I probably will keep it around though, and i'll probably have it for a long time because they are always in clinique's gwps!
