I love this. Okay, no, it's not going to 100% reduce your undereye circles. It's not completely opague. I use this over my primer, before I apply my foundation. I put the tiniest amount on both ring fingers (it's super concentrated and will last forever), and lightly pat it into my undereye area. I use Beige 3, despite being super fair skinned (NC 15 is a tad too dark for me). This color neutralizes my dark undereye area, and makes a great base for my foundation. Once I apply my foundation, I take a little extra and pat it into my undereye area over the effacernes. Last, I use an undereye concealer that has a brightening affect, and I'm all set.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Black and White Bleaching Cream

I purchased this product before I knew the dangers of hydroquinone. I've used it nearly every night for a few months on my elbows, which were brown from leaning on them a lot I guess (I'm very fair, NC15, so this stood out a lot). My routine would be exfoliating my elbows with a scrub of some sort (Peter Thomas Roth anti aging buffing beads), and then applying this cream. It did dry out my elbows and make them feel rougher, so I began using this every other night, and on the nights I didn't use it I would apply a vitamin E cream. I had a huge success with this, my elbows are no longer embarrassing lol. I tried it on my face and it seemed to stain my skin and leave dark patches where I used it. I will never use this on my face again, but may try it on my knees if madre perla fade cream doesn't work. try this out if you're okay with using hydroquinone, i got it in the ethnic section of my super market for less than $10.
Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

This product saved my life. I work in a hot, stuffy stockroom all day with no AC, and my makeup used to melt off and get that gross cakey look makeup gets when you sweat. with this, my skin has never looked better. my foundation stays put all day long (from 2:30 pm until 1 am) and my skin doesn't get greasy. I just spray 3-4 times on my face. Update 12/11: I'm kind of concerned that this has been making me break out on my jaw line/sides of my face. The pores are just congested, no matter what I do. I don't see any other reviews that say this though, so I'm not sure what to think.
I was hoping this would show up more, but it's pretty much clear. it's not streaky though, yay!
I ordered this on ebay after reading reviews about this scent on MUA. I never do that, but the descriptions people gave of this scent really stuck a chord with me (especially the review below mine). This is a deeper scent than i have ever felt comfortable wearing, the only other perfumes i will wear are marc jacobs "daisy" and "clean", by clean. i feel so sophisticated wearing this, and i don't think you need to be older to wear this. i am 26 but unfortunately look extremely young for my age, and i still feel that this suits me. it's a somewhat quirky scent, you won't like it if you like juicy/bath and body works/victoria secret flowery fruity scents. if anyone has read the book shopgirl by steve martin, this is the scent i imagine mirabelle would wear. it's gorgeous! i got the .17 bottle just to test it out, and now will definitely buy the full sized bottle. a little goes a long way, and i think i will only wear this at night, and when going out. update 6/20: staying power SUCKS, idk what it is with my skin, but scents never stay strong enough on me. i end up feeling as though i waste a ton of my fragrances because i have to respray throughout the day Update 6/21 - the scent started out nice enough, but i felt it almost turned into a mens cologne
Lipstick -Clinique - Almost Lipstick - Black Honey

i discovered this when i was a young girl (11 or 12) loved it, forgot about it, rediscovered it at 26. i am not a lipstick girl, i only own lip balm. i hate glosses because they are sticky. i love this color, it really brightens my lips and looks natural but better than natural i guess, haha. at my job we have to wear natural makeup, or are asked to wash it off. this is the only lip color i feel i can get away with. i love the slim tube, and it applies beautifully. i'm so happy with this, it's so worth it and i feel like it will last a long time.
i went into sephora not wanting to buy any fragrances, but saw a special section for this scent, along with a few others. the bottle is plain, and almost manish, but i was curious so i smelled it. i'm not sure what it was about the scent, but i loved it immediately. i'm not a fan of heavy fragrances, i HATE the overly sweet nauseating cotton candy scents from victoria secret, b&bw, etc. this smelled exactly what it's called...clean. when i first brought it home and smelled it i was like "ugh, it smells like a cleaning product GREAT". but i wore it anyway, and it settles into a very pleasing scent. i got complimented on it right away at work by one of my guy friends, and later on that day by 2 more people. all they could say was "you smell clean!" and one person did say i smelled girly which i resented, but whatever. i love this scent, i even spray it on myself when i'm home and in my pjs because it's relaxing. the staying power is okay, i wish it lasted a bit longer, so i bring the bottle with me to work. update: 6/20 - i went to a family party today and was complimented several times on how i smelled, even by my awkward antisocial male cousin that cares more about video games than how girls smell. this was AWESOME for me haha
Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Mineral Glow Pearls - Light Bronze Pearl
jacq1985 6/15/2011 12:43:00 PM
I initially thought I would hate this. I got it thinking I could use it as a highlighter, but I use it as a bronzer, a very natural bronzer that makes my skin look flawless and dewy. I tried it the other day finally, applying with my ecotools blush brush all over my face. At work I got compliments, people saying I looked really pretty, but could not pinpoint why :) It's kind of annoying to open, as one side is just a mirror so I always accidently open the mirror part, but this is still worth buying. It's kind of expensive for a drug store product, but again, worth it. I am NC15 or lighter for reference, with red undertones.
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream (Night)
jacq1985 6/15/2011 12:36:00 PM
This is great, doesn't irritate my somewhat sensitive skin, and makes my face feel super fast in the morning and not greasy at all. Is it doing anything for my wrinkles? I don't have any yet, but I like to think this is a nice preventive. I have very slight lines under my eyes, and this seems to smooth them out. I also like the seal this comes with, that you see on most over the counter skin care and acne treatment products.
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle SPF 15
jacq1985 6/15/2011 12:33:00 PM
I love this. I wear it under my makeup everyday, and it's the first moisturizer with spf that has not made my skin super shiny. By the end of the day (after about 10 hrs) I will have some shine, but that seems pretty normal to me. This doesn't irritate my skin, and does not cause me to break out. My skin is somewhat sensitive, and my whole life dermatologists have recommended neutrogena as one of the best drugstore brands to use for skin care, along with cetaphil. I'm not sure if it's helping with wrinkles as I don't really have any yet, but it does give my skin somewhat of a plumping effect. I got the generic version of this from walmart for about $6, love it. I also like that when you open the tube, you have to break a seal, the same kind of seal that is on most topical acne medications I've used. To me this ensures that the formula is fresh.
Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Silk Finish Blush 831D Pearlescent Pink
jacq1985 6/15/2011 12:25:00 PM
this is so much like the Nars blush orgasm, but less shimmery which to me is a plus. it's also maybe a touch more pigmented. it comes with a little brush i threw away right away, and the packaging kind of sucks, but you can't go wrong for a blush that costs less than $3. I haven't worn it all day yet, but it's going to be great for summer as it is peachy and makes your skin look sun kissed.
this blush was recommended to me by a sephora associate 7 years ago for my fair NC15 skintone, and i hae used it ever since! it has always been my HG blush, the peachy color is perfect for my warm/neutral skintone. my only gripe is that the packaging sucks, and gets dirty so easily. the will last forever, you do not need a lot of product, it's pretty pigmented. i recently hae been on a more natural kick, and am using a blush with less shimmer, i will always come back to orgasm though. the color suits many skintones, and is beautiful.
i do not have much experience with mascara i will admit, but i do love this one! it stays on all day with no smudging even though i do not use the waterproof one, makes my lashes look thick from top to bottom (no spider leg effect) and the applicator works like a dream. i use it in the color blackest black. update 6/27: sometimes this stuff irritates my eyes and hurts them all day long, i have contacts so i need to stop using this mascara :(
Okay, I've had pretty dark eye circles ever since my early 20's (i'm 26 now). it got to the point that people would constantly ask me if i was sick, or really tired, OR if my makeup was smeared under my eyes -_- i really wanted to fix this so i went to sephora and asked them what their best undereye cream was. i explained my concerns (puffy undereyes, purple circles and was actually directed to a good product! i thought it was pricy at $48, but i was willing to try anything. i'm so glad i did, because i noticed a big difference. i still have mild undereye circles, but they are 50% better than before. i tried to find a cheaper alternative, but honestly...nothing comes close. i've repurchased this twice since the first time, and will continue using it for as long as possible. when you get to the end of this it's hard to remove the rest of the product, so i just remove the top and sweep it out with my finger. try this, it definitely will make a difference.
