I was heistant to buy this at first, because it contains mineral oil and I thought it would make my hair greasy. But I bought it anyway. Yesterday I had my hair dyed and it looked almost black (which I noticed afer I got home and my hair dried). Tonight, I decided to wash my hair with Dawn dishwashing liquid to see if it would lighten it a bit. The jury's still out on that, since I have to see my hair in the sunlight to gauge. I used the 3 minute undo and blow-dried it without even sectioning my hair, and it looked like I had hot-ironed it. My hair is straight, soft, silky! No frizz! I never get frizz-free hair from just blow-drying! Amazing! I was never a fan of the Fructis, but this...wow. Oh, and those little bits of whatever, just rinsed out. I didn't even notice them.
The fragrance starts with a heavy ginger/spicy smell. Then, no middle notes! I could not detect the florals at all. It dried down to a pure incense smell. It smelled like church incense at midnight mass (a good thing), but sweeter. It was very similar to DK's Black Cashmere, but far more wearable (not nearly as potent, yet potent enough for me). I like it.

I tried this at Nordstrom's and I would have bought it, but it smelled very familiar on me. On me, CH smells like Estee Lauder Sensuous, which I love. However, Sensuous costs less and seems to last longer.
Fragrances -Bill Blass - Bill Blass (Original Version 1978)

I, too used to wear this in the '80s. So I ordered a bottle online. I just got it and it smells nothing like the Bill Blass I remember. It's far too strong and just, well, different.
I sampled this today at Sephora and instantly recognized the scent. It smells exactly like Royal Violets by Agustin Reyes (we just call it Cuban baby cologne). However, Agustin Reyes hasn't been smelling quite as good as it used to (they must have changed the formula) and it's more like a splash than anything. Wood smells very clean and sweet. Once it settled, it smelled even better.
Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - Daisy Fuentes Style Pro Smooth & Straight Conditioner

Smells like tuberose and makes my hair incredibly soft. I bought 3 each of the shampoo and conditioner, because I get the feeling it might be discontinued. It's sulfate/paraben-free and sooo moisturizing. The smell is incredible.
Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - Daisy Fuentes Style Pro Smooth & Straight Shampoo

I first bought this shampoo because it smelled so wonderful! Like tuberose or gardenia. I haven't had much luck with paraben and sulfate-free hair products, so I didn't think it would do much. Well, I was wrong. The shampoo makes my hair incredibly soft and clean. I can comb through it before I condition.
This smells like woods and vanilla. Love it!
Fragrances -Narciso Rodriguez - Narciso Rodriguez for her

I keep going back to the store to try this, forgetting how much I disliked it before. To me it smells like foot powder. 1970's spray foot powder. It makes me want to cough. The bottle is pretty, though.
I bought this polish because OPI's "Get Me to the Taj on Time" had a barely noticeable amount of shimmer and I was looking for a shimmer-free, opaque, off-white polish and this one seemed to fit the bill. Pound Cake is pinkish, off-white and opaque. Yet, even though I buff my nails to avoid polish streaks, I got streaks. The brush was so small, it was difficult to apply the color. I did not have any problem with chipping, though.
This is a perfect red for my medium-light, yellow-based skin tone. It's not too warm or too cool. It's just perfect. And makes my hands (and feet) look very elegant.
Cleansers -L'Occitane - Olive Oil Daily Face Cleanser

I really liked this cleanser. I have oily skin that is dry and flaky from anti-acne products and this cleanser made my skin soft and clean.
This cleanser left my skin feeling dry and tight, but strangely, not clean. I won't be repurchasing.
Conditioner -John Frieda - brilliant brunette lustrous touch smoothing conditioner

I don't think this made my hair very shiny, but it softened and conditioned it nicely. It has many of the ingredients of higher-end conditioners. You have to rinse well to get it out, though. Comparable to or better than many salon conditioners. If you have fine hair, it may weigh it down a bit, though.
Blush -Milani - Minerals Blush - 203 - Mai Tai [DISCONTINUED]

This compact blush is like the mineral powder, but smaller, with a tiny semicircular brush that I threw away without trying ( I use my Clinique Blush Brush instead). The color is a pinky peach, not bad. I'ts a bright color, but it builds up gradually, so it looks natural. It lasted almost all day and I have very oily skin. I would buy more if they had more colors. No bright cool tones. But this blush didn't turn orangey on me, either.
