EDIT 2013: i've decided that i love this perfume. it doesn't last on me like it should, and it's not gardenia, but it's beautifully composed. if i were going to give this lippies for scent alone, i'd give it a 4. it's creamy. it's tuberose and jasmine with hints of vetiver and creamy vanilla and a bit of smoke. I absolutely love gardenias. There's no gardenia here, folks. There's just, IMO, a fancy label. This is one of the few perfumes that nauseates me. I smell jasmine, patchouli, and rotten orange creamsicle. Yves Rocher has a beautiful true gardenia scent for about $10 ~ Pur Desir de Gardenia. Get that for a true-to-the-flower scent. Get Trish # 4 for a gardenia with a little musk and vanilla/tonka. Don't get this if you want gardenia. However, I guess if you like jasmine with patchouli, this is perfect.

Amazing. Perfect lily of the valley scent with phenomenal staying power and good sillage. Wonderful and highly underrated. Love it! I have worn this forever and will continue to. If you love Diorissimo but hate that it's gone in 10 minutes, give this a try.

Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Angel Innocent

To me, this smells nothing like Angel. This is a wonderful, sugary, spicy scent on me. It's slightly powdery and smells like some very odd fruit. It's a love it or hate it scent, for sure. I didn't like it the 1st time I tried it. If you don't like Angel, don't let that stop you. I really smell no similarity. I can't even really *describe* this scent... it's so well blended IMO that I can't even *really* pick out any notes, with my nose. There might be honey, but not much. I will say that Angel Innocent's drydown is remarkably similar, on me, to L'Artisan's Tea for Two. Kind of a spicy, honey, clove, tea, powder, odd fruit perfume... lol! Just try it. Twice.

Okay. For years, I hated Angel because everyone who wore it, IMO, smelled like they had NOT bathed, had put on too much patchouli, and had rubbed those horrible chocolate scented scratch & sniff 80s stickers all over themselves. Ugh. It was everywhere, and the "stench" was just too much. I can appreciate patchouli in *tiny* doses, well blended. However, I cannot wear ANYTHING that has even the tiniest drop of patch in it. Period. Well, for some reason I still don't understand, I decided to try Angel on ME, just to see. Even though I hated it on others and knew I couldn't wear patchouli, I had to try. It's one of my HGs. I love it. It's absolute perfection and, I'm sorry if I offend, is up there with Serge's creations. On me, there is no patchouli. It is a creamy *and* powdery rich ~~~AMARETTO~~~ with a subtle, sexy musk. That's all, folks. I love it. How weird. I am so glad I decided to try this on "for fun."

I am in heaven. Pure heaven. Thankfully, I love lilac, because this lily smells like lilac with my chemistry. Please don't think that this will be a lily of the valley scent; lotv is different from lily. First, it is a strong lily/lilac with a musky but sweet vanilla base. Then the lily unfolds, and the vanilla musk turns to just a sweet, soft base for the lily petals. This is amazing. I don't know what else to say. Gorgeous, but only if you're a floral lover. Give this a shot, though, if you don't normally like florals but like things like Chantecaille Frangipane. Ethereal, Un Lys.

In love. Forbidden love, I think. This smells like forbidden love ~ sexy and innocent at the same time. I can't get enough. Black licorice, cinammon, mint, clove and vanilla are what I smell. This is Heaven meets Hell in a bottle, and I must have some more.
