Lips -NYX - Soft Matte Lip Cream in Tokyo

I have Antwerp and Tokyo in the Lip Creams, and I like them both. They take a little work, but I don't mind. I would usually line my lips first then apply them, and if I want a softer look, I'd apply a matching lip gloss, usually Sorbet with Tokyo and Natural with Antwerp. I love both colors too. Tokyo is a nice pale baby pink on me and I pair it with baby pink cheeks. I would wear Antwerp with a coral blush. The formulas aren't drying on me at all. But if I know I'm going to wear them, I'd scrub my lips and use a good lip balm just to make sure. The one thing I don't like is that they don't fade evenly on me. I'd need to take everything off, or I get color stuck on the drier bits on my lips. Other than that, I like these.

Lipstick -NYX - Round Lipstick in Orange Soda #588

Orange Soda is a great color. What I learned though is that I need to use it with either a lip primer, or a lip pencil applied all over the lip. Otherwise, this will blotch and the application wouldn't be even. It takes a little bit of work to make it work, but when I have time to layer and play, I use it.

Lip Liners -NYX - Slim Lip Pencil

I love NYX lip pencils. It's on par with some more expensive brands. I don't like spending a lot on something that's gone from my lips in minutes, maybe hours, so I scrimp on lip products. NYX fits the bill for me -- cheap, great colors, decent staying power. I have the lip pencils in Rose, Mauve, Natural and Coral. I use them all the time.

Liquid -NARS - Sheer Glow Foundation

I have this in Fiji and I'm an NC20-25. This product confuses me -- it's wonderful sometimes with great coverage and staying power, but at other times applies too thick, or gets greasy too soon. I still have to test it with other primers but with Mac Prep + Prime it doesn't work so well.

Highlighters -Becca - Pearl Shimmering Skin Perfector

I use this and love it. I blend it into my skin the way I use Benefit High Beam and get the same, maybe slightly better results. I want to try Opal to see if it'll be a more natural color on me. Like a previous reviewer said, I wish this came in a smaller bottle to keep the cost down.

Another S&G product I love. It smells great, keeps my hands soft, and isn't greasy once it's been massaged in. In the beginning though, you need to work it in so I tend to massage into my cuticles, wrists, etc.

I love this. It's very emollient so you'd think it was greasy, but it absorbs quickly and doesn't feel greasy at all. I love how it smells too!

I got generous samples of this and tried it. I did what I'm supposed to do -- rub it between my palms to heat it up and gently but firmly pat on the face. I don't know that it did anything for me.

Makeup Brushes -Shiseido - Perfect Foundation Brush

My daughter gifted to me after she discovered how 'perfect' it was for foundation. I alternate this with the Mac 130 and I love them both. I think this takes more work to use though than the 130 but the results are great. Mine never sheds, and looks great after multiple washes. Takes overnight to dry, but so worth it. The price is reasonable too considering what it does.

Like AsylumAddiction below, I wanted this to work harder for me for what it costs. It does take away the powdery/cakey look, but water can also do that, and only makes my makeup stay in place minimally.

Is it just me, but Stash shows a shimmery bronze on me. I love it anyway, and wear it for daytime as their browns and blacks are too harsh on me for daytime wear. I wish these were retractable as I hate sharpening, but I got them anyway knowing that.

Having only recently tried the 24/7 liners, I knew i would love them. Pigmentation, longevity, range of colors are great. With Zero however, I have to be very careful using it because it's sooo pigmented that I'd get raccoon eyes if I just swipe it across without thinking. I don't' look great in black eyeliner, it's somehow too stark, at least to me. I prefer their browns -- Stash, Whiskey, Bourbon.

Moisturizers -Kiehls - Rare Earth Pore Minimizing Lotion

Like the Tonic, I got this as a gift, and would not have bought it myself. I use it sometimes for some extra moisturization. I like that it's not greasy, but can't really say that it helps my pores, of which I don't have a lot. I probably won't buy this on my own.

Toners -Kiehls - Rare Earth Pore Refining Tonic

I used up a whole bottle of this. It was a gift, along with the Rare Earth Moisturizer, I wouldn't have bought it myself because I don't believe any toner and/or moisturizer can actually minimize pores. What it does though is help mattify my very oily t-zone before makeup or moisturizer. I only use it when I feel I need extra help in that area. I'm thinking of buying it myself because I'm almost out, and it's a nice extra step in my routine, but not a necessary one.
