And of course, the perfect lipgloss for beige nude lips!

Lipstick -Chanel - Rouge Coco - Camelia
dea2407 9/13/2010 11:20:00 AM
(0 - 5 points, 5 = excellent, 0 = very bad) pigmentation = 3 texture = 4 feeling = 4 colour-fast = 2 versatile? = 5 staying power = 3 TOTAL POINTS: 23 of 30 = good comments: A good product I like to wear day and night! Very soft and moisturising feeling on the lips. It doesn't last that long, but I like it better that way than if it would dry out my lips! I know the price is high but I like to collect luxury brand lipsticks and this one is really worth it!

Nails -Essie - Lilacism
dea2407 9/8/2010 10:43:00 AM
Well, well, well - me and Lilacism... I wanted to have a matte lilac nailpolish for sooo long (they are not that easy to find) and I finally got this one. It looks so adorable in the bottle! Then I applied one coat on one nail - and what I saw was a strange "mist" of a milky light lilac that looked awful with the natural colour of my nails shining thru. That was my first disapointment because I often use just one layer of colour to achieve a more natural look. I applied another coat and I couldn't stand it too. The colour was much too intense for my taste now! I don't mean to be unfair - it's a very unique and thrilling colour and I still think it looks hot and you can combine it with lots of other colours (make-up, clothes...) but it's just not my taste!

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 222 Tapered Blending Brush [DISCONTINUED]
dea2407 8/27/2010 5:12:00 AM
The best brush for the crease in my opinion! It's so easy to build up a precise crease-shape with the tip of the 222. Blending also works very well with it. Before I got it, I used the 217 for the crease and for blending - since I got this, I hardly use it any more. I mean, the 217 worked too, but the round tip of the 222 makes the difference! At first I couldn't decide if I should buy the 222 or the 224. The MAC-make-up-artist told me that she preferred the 222 because it's softer than the 224 and it's easier to work with.

Eyeliner -MAC - Fascinating
dea2407 8/27/2010 4:54:00 AM
THE white eyeliner! No white eyeliner ever showed up as pigmented on my waterline. As it's an eye kohl you can also smudge it. Well, nothing more to say - it's a great product and well worth the price!

Styling Products -TiGi - Rockaholic Fun Times Hair Spray
dea2407 8/25/2010 9:59:00 AM
This is supposed to provide a flexible hold - aaand here comes the big disappointment: it simply doesn't! Too much product comes out if you spray once for my taste. My hair sticks together like glue afterwards and looks streaky. I have tried to hold the bottle as far away from my hair as I can, but that didn't help either. Way too expensive for the low quality!

Blush -Clinique - Fresh picked all over colour
dea2407 8/18/2010 8:24:00 AM
*sigh* Three beautiful shades that can be used individually as an eyeshadow or as a blush colour. All three shades mixed together provide a middle to dark rosy blush colour. A make up artist used this on me in the shop and it looked very nice and special. So I bought it. But when I went outside and looked into the mirror in my car, I wanted to scream out loud! It looked much too red on my fair complexion in day light. I kept it, because I thought I just had to apply it with a lighter hand - but I was wrong! It looks gorgeous and the packing is adorable - but it's just not the right colour for me.

Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash
dea2407 8/18/2010 6:36:00 AM
(0 - 5 points, 5 = excellent, 0 = very bad) brush: 5 clumping-free: 4 easy application: 5 staying power: 4 tube*: 5 durability**: 5 TOTAL POINTS: 28 of 30 = excellent * Right amount of product? Clumping due to remains of product? ** Does the consistency change in time? My personal HG mascara for natural looking lashes!!! I have been using it at least 3 times a week for years! I love the rubber wand - it provides the right amount of mascara and it's easy to handle. I have nearly never had problems with clumping as other users describe it! Just one or two straight streaks (no zic-zac motions) and I'm done. I will buy again and again and again! (By the way: I live in Austria and this mascara is called "Stretch & Define" in my country. It's always interesting to figure out different names for the same product - which happens more often than you probably think...)

Skincare - Face -MAC - Fix+
dea2407 8/18/2010 5:46:00 AM
I use Fix+ in three ways: 1. I spray it on my eyeshadow brushes if I want to apply shadows wet - it works well, but I don't really think it works better than normal water. 2. Sometimes I use it to fix my make-up in general, just with a spritz on my whole face, but honestly - I can't figure out if it really lasts longer afterwards. 3. In summer, I keep it in the fridge and spray it on my face for a cooling effect - and I love to use it this way! So overall... It's packed in a convenient bottle, the smell is very nice and yes - it's a useful product - but for me it's not a must at all! I couldn't really decide if I would buy again, so I chose "no" cause I think that's the "righter" answer.

Fragrances -Marc Jacobs - Daisy
dea2407 8/11/2010 5:20:00 AM
This was love at first side! So clean, fresh, a little sweet, flowery - so uncomplicated and still so special! Daisy is the perfect perfume for me in spring, summer and autumn. If it would only last a little longer (especially for this price)! This is why I give only 4 of 5 lippies.

Eyeliner -MAC - Powerpoint eye pencil in Engraved
dea2407 8/11/2010 5:13:00 AM
(0 - 5 points, 5 = excellent, 0 = very bad) pigmentation: 5 texture: 5 smudge-free: 4 colour-fast: 4 versatile?: 5 staying power: 4 TOTAL POINTS: 27 of 30 = very good Powerpoint Pencils in general are the best liners for me! They are: easy to apply, last very long (even on the waterline) and available in lots of colours. Plus: they are my favourites for lining my upper lashline - I'm really clumsy with eyeliners there, but they work great for me and last all day long! Engraved is THE black liner for me!!! Easy to apply, richly pigmented and a just the classic black. It doesn't smudge on me - as some other reviewers wrote... I have never thought about buying another one since I own this and I will buy again and again!

Eyeliner -MAC - Powerpoint - So There Jade
dea2407 8/11/2010 5:06:00 AM
(0 - 5 points, 5 = excellent, 0 = very bad) pigmentation: 3 texture: 4 smudge-free: 4 colour-fast: 4 versatile?: 3 staying power: 4 TOTAL POINTS: 22 of 30 = good So there Jade - oh what a beautiful colour! I always have to think of a mermaid if I use it! ;) I also think it suits every eye colour. I use it as a liner for eyeshadows of the same colour range sometimes, but most of the time I grab it if I want an eyecatcher. I gave only 4 of 5 lippies, because it takes some lines until the colour shows up on my waterline (I guess that's because of the shimmer), but once it's there it lasts great.

Eyeliner -MAC - Powerpoint - Bountiful Brown
dea2407 8/11/2010 5:00:00 AM
(0 - 5 points, 5 = excellent, 0 = very bad) pigmentation: 3 texture: 4 smudge-free: 4 colour-fast: 4 versatile?: 5 staying power: 4 TOTAL POINTS: 24 of 30 = good Bountiful brown is a warm middle brown with some bronze shimmer. It's a really natural and soft looking colour and still special to me because of the nice bronzy shimmer. I use it on my upper lashline and also on my waterline. One little downside is that I have to draw lines and lines on my waterline until the colour shows up (I guess thats because of the shimmer - the matte Powerpoints have more colour payoff) - but once it shows up it lasts all day!

Tinted Moisturizer -Smashbox - Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15
dea2407 8/11/2010 4:44:00 AM
A Smashbox make-up artist put this product on my face. As I have combination skin, I normally avoid products that give shine to the skin. But this tinted moisturizer provides a very natural and soft kind of shine and my T-zone doesn't look oily with loose powder over it. I like it for every day looks, when I just need little coverage - plus it has SPF 15, which is great for my fair skin. It's sooo easy to apply, blends nicely, makes my skin fresh and smooth. If there wasn't the price! EUR 29.90 in my country - and it is a product for every day use... I really like it and so I will still buy again, but I will keep on looking for an equal product with a lower price.

Lip Gloss -Smashbox - O-Plump
dea2407 8/10/2010 9:56:00 AM
I have never seen a product before that comes out clear from the packaging and still turns your lips into a different (and beautiful) colour! That was a real *wow* for me! I can also see that my lips look a little bit fuller - not that much, but enough that I notice it (which is nice, as they are quite thin). Still - this product is expensive and does not last very long on my lips. I was not sure if I should choose "Yes" or "No" for "Would you buy again?". I chose "No" in the end because I guess I would finish it up in about 2 month if I would really use it regularlly - and then it would be way to expensive for me. But overall: A revolutionary, great product!
