Palettes -Too Faced - Quickie Chronicles - The Sex Kitten

this is such a great palette! I almost passed on it because I didn't think I could wear these colors but i was wrong. They compliment each other perfectly! The blush is soo pretty... this plummy pink. The shadows are very pigmented and blend like a dream. The light green is a close match to MAC Juxt but it has this beautiful golden sheen. The 2 purples are stuning too. The lipglosses are sheer but they compliment the intense eyes nicely. A definite keeper!

Palettes -Too Faced - The Quickie Chronicles - The Temptress

I think this palette is great! I found the e/s to be plenty pigmented. The lightest one is sheer with lots of sparkle, but if you put it over a Cream color base or a MAC paint it shows up very well. I also applied it with my finger so it packed on more color too. It compliments the darker color very well, which BTW is a close color dupe to MAC Beauty Marked. The blush is DIVINE! and the glosses are so pretty. The whole palette is very well coordinated! I LOVE the QC and look forward to owning all of them!

I LOVE this palette. This, the Summer Lover, and The Plaything of Passion are my faves! This has such great nuetrals! The eye shadows are Great and compliment each other well. I LOVE the glosses. My favorite thing about the palette! The peach shade is heavenly. I'm not too crazy about the blush though. Its a bit dark, but it works pretty well as a bronzer. All in all I'm very pleased with it!***UPDATE*** I just got the full sized palette during their sale and LOVE it! Grab if you still can!

Eye Shadow -MAC - MAC Pigment Entremauve
amby069 10/31/2006 7:43:00 PM
This is such a pretty purple pigment! Looks fantastic with Subtle or coco! The SA said this is like Grape pigment but with gold shimmers so I guess if you own grape you might not need it. I don't have grape so for me it was a very different pigment to own. Its a weird matte texture though that can be hard to blend.... just take some extra time and you should be fine.

Blush -MAC - Velvet Blush - Desirous
amby069 10/25/2006 4:04:00 PM
OMG!!!! I had bought Fleur Power recently cuz I wanted to try a brighter blush.... though I do like it it just didn't brighten my face quite the way I had hoped....... then came Desirous! This was what I was looking for! It warms up my face so much and gives me that flush without being overly rosy.... more in the coral range which suits my warm skin tone so much better than pinks. I do think though that this blush would be good for just about anyone. At first sight I thought it would be WAY too bright and I would only be able to use it with a skunk brush, but to my surprise I have been using it with my slant one and it looks fabulous! I can definitely use the skunk when I want a very subtle look (and I would probably recommend doing that for very light girls), but it still looks great when you want it more intense! I WISH MAC would make this permanant! The best NEW blush from MAC since Summer Lily IMO!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Beauty Sleep

Not my cup of tea. For a light pink e/s I prefer Phloof or sweet lust.... in fact this reminded me of Sweet lust but not as pretty IMO.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Suspicion
amby069 10/25/2006 3:56:00 PM
I actually thought this was such a pretty shadow. I own Print, carbon and black tied... not to maention many other dark charcoal e/s, so I didn't feel a need to have it... but it almost looked like a darkened charcoal black brown to me. Didn't see the "gold" but it was definitely a nice color. Reminded me of Smut alittle. Definitely worth looking at if you want a dark not quite black e/s.

Eye Shadow -MAC - MAC Eye Shadow Wait Till Dark
amby069 10/25/2006 3:54:00 PM
This is such a pretty color! I didn't end up getting this due to the fact that I already own deep truth e/s and I really did see a need for 2 dark blue shadows, but this is definitely something I would look in to if I didn't have anything like it already!

Eye Shadow -MAC - INNUENDO
amby069 10/25/2006 3:52:00 PM
I can't say this is a terribley unique color. Its actually really close to Subtle pigment (also released in this collection) but not a shimmery. I gave it a 4 because even though its pretty... I think there are many other taupe e/s that are prettier.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Subtle Pigment
amby069 10/25/2006 3:49:00 PM
This is such a beautiful color. I already own Sunnydaze and Coco pigment so I only got a sample jar of Subtle..... here are my thoughts. Of the 2 (Sunnydaze and Coco) Subtle is a dead ringer to Coco... if there is any difference (and again this is upon CLOSE inspection and can only be seen if you angle it in certain lighting) it would be that Subtle is a Teeny Tiny bit warmer than Coco. I see a TAD (And I really mean A TAD) more silver in Coco, but as far as look, smoothness and texture... its the same as Coco... they are what I call Veluxe Pearl pigments :). Sunny daze on the other hand to me is much warmer and almost looks gold next Subtle.... not to mention it's more of what I like to call a Lustre pigment with the glitter chunks (think Kitchmas and Fairy Light). So my final say.... if you own Coco you can pass on Subtle (or just get a sample like I did), if you have Sunnydaze I definitely think you can get Subtle.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Well-Plumed Eyes Quad
amby069 10/9/2006 5:33:00 PM
This quad I was so tempted by but I already owned 2 of the e/s (Shroom and Espresso)which are both staple colors for me! Even still I tried to convice my self it was worth it to have the quad.... then I realized that the copper e/s in the quad was basically a ringer to Copper Sparkle pigment.... which I also have... leaving just the purple blue e/s. Though I don't really know what could dupe that color... I can't say it is really unique enough to merit buying the quad. There are tons of blues and purple shadows and pigments that could be close. Needless to say it wasn't a unique quad, but if you don't already own any of these colors then it's probably worth it.
