Self Tanners -Jergens - Natural Glow & Protect Daily Moisturizer with SPF20

I love this stuff! I was looking for something that would make my complexion look more healthy. I had previously used Neostrata sunless tanner but I didn't like it on my face. This is exactly what I was looking for. It has an SPF, which is an added bonus, it isn't greasy or heavy at all and it gives a gradual, natural-looking glow. I use this as my daily moisurizer in order to maintain my colour. This never looks orange or fake on my skin and I have used it day and night in the past. I imagine it would be very difficult to mess this up.
I love these. I got a pack of the coloured ones as well as the neon ones and they're soooo cute. These hold my fine hair in place and as long as I am somewhat careful, I have no problem breaking hair when I am putting them in and taking them out. They keep my ponytail nice and tight and I can even sleep with these in and wake up with my hair still somewhat in tact. I don't understand the bad ratings, although one of the ratings on here is low but the review of the product is good. Confusing.
I was looking for a great basic moisturizer, no SPF, no AHA, none of that. So I found this highly reviewed on here and set out to purchase. I found this under 'Nivea Naturals Soothing Moisturizer' which I presume is the same and it is wonderful. Firstly, the smell is divine, I'm big on nice scents and this is light and lovely, makes using this extra pleasant. Secondly, very rarely do I find a moisturizer that actually instantly makes my skin look improved and this one does! It is quite moisturizing so my combo skin doesn't need a lot. I'm so glad I found this, I will be repurchasing and recommending this to others.
BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream

This is surprisingly good. I tried it on a few girls while doing makeup for them for their prom and it had surprisingly nice coverage and ease of application. I did use a powder foundation overtop but this made for a gorgeous base. So I went and bought one myself, seeing as how inexpensive they were. It's a pretty decent BB cream for $10, kinda impressed with this one.
Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - dermaglow exfoliating cleanser

This stuff is gorgeous! The texture of it feels so amazing on my skin, almost like it contains baking soda but better. This can be a tad drying so I don't use it every day but I would totally recommend this to acne prone people. It exfoliates very well and doesn't irritate my skin. This is designed for acne-prone skin and I think it works wonderfully. Update: I liked this initially but have come to find my skin is too sensitive for manual exfoliants. It always appears red after using this and I hate that. Feels wonderful though and may work for someone with less sensitive skin.
I tried this on a whim at work as I was feeling rather pale and the bronzer I had applied earlier had quit on me. This is the very best bronzer I have ever used and bronzers are my weakness, I've tried a lot! Comes with 2 shades, one more coppery and the other a matte brown. They blend beautifully and make my face glow. I also use this for contouring. This stuff is kind of expensive but it is a good quality product and is actually good for your skin. My Holy Grail!
Eyeliner -Maybelline - Line Works Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
amanda23 7/3/2012 2:12:00 PM
This is a great basic black liquid liner, what's not to like? It's richly pigmented, has an easy to use brush, stays put. It doesn't run on me ever but I'm not sure if it's 100% waterproof as I haven't swam with it on or anything. I really don't expect any eye makeup to be 100% waterproof but that's just me.
Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Eucerin PLUS Intensive Repair Hand Creme

This is the very BEST hand lotion I've ever tried. I've started to develop some contact dermatitis on my hands due to my job and the dryness it causes my hands. This stuff is so thick and creamy but not greasy and it nourishes my hands and makes them smoothe for quite awhile. I find most hand lotions wear off quickly and then leave my hands even drier in the long run but this doesn't seem to do that. My quest is over.
I love Annabelle blushes, they have to be my fave drugstore blushes ever. They are very pigmented but natural looking and have some gorgeous colours. This one is my favourite but I also quite frequently use the 'Rosewood' shade and receive a lot of compliments when I wear it. Chestnut gives a nice, healthy glow and has just enough shimmer to look healthy but not overdone.
From what I can tell there are 2 kinds, one that says it's gentle and the other has a green cap and is formulated for oily hair types. I'm reviewing the gentle one, which I received a couple of free samples from my work. I don't normally like to write a review so soon after trying a product but with this I would say that the results have been instant and long-lasting throughout my day. Generally I like to use the Batiste blush dry shampoo but I think I will be converting to this, even though it is twice the price. This stuff is way better. My major flaw I find with Batiste is that it leaves my hair feeling dirty, kinda like cotton candy I find. The Klorane does not do this, it just makes my hair feel and look clean. It leaves a bit of a white residue, as does Batiste, which I actually enjoy as I find it blends my blonde highlights with my roots. The smell of this doesn't linger and I like that. Oh, plus it gives lots of volume, which I love.
This smells so good! I've been meaning to buy this for my hubby, maybe for his birthday. It smells so good! Very manly but not overpowering. A very sexy and subtly manly scent. Love.
I think this is one that my man uses, mmmmm so yummy and manly. I sell a lot of this at my store as well. Great masculine scent.
Eye Makeup Remover -Nivea - Express Eye Makeup Remover
amanda23 6/4/2012 4:26:00 PM
This is the best eyemakeup remover I have ever used for waterproof eyemakeup. I was tired of using products and seeing lashes being shed on my cotton round. I tried this because it was meant for waterproof eyemakeup and this said it maintained the integrity of your lashes. I love this stuff! I lose way less lashes with this and it just plain does what it says, doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes either, and I wear contact lenses. I'll buy another bottle as soon as I run out.
Gels/Soaps -Olay - Daily Purifying Body Wash w/ Sea Salts & Microbeads
amanda23 6/4/2012 4:02:00 PM
I guess I am using the new formula? I bought this because it was 'purifying' and I tend to get some minor breakouts on my back. This seems to keep it to a minimal. I really enjoy the smell, it's really nothing special and I probaby wouldn't use it in the wintertime as it isn't terribly moisturizing but for the summer, it does a decent job of cleansing my skin.
Lotions/ Creams -Crabtree & Evelyn - Rosewater Hand Therapy
amanda23 6/4/2012 3:59:00 PM
I love love love the C&E Rosewater line. This hand lotion is rich and so moisturizing and the smell! So lovely. It makes it so enjoyable to use. I'm going to try the body wash when I run out of my other stuff. Rosewater is a natural antibacterial so it is great if you happen to get the random back breakout.
