Cleansers -Paula's Choice - Moisture Boost One Step Face Cleanser

My Dermatologist just diagnosed me with Seborrheic Dermatitis and Eczema. I ran home and immediately placed an order for this facial cleanser. This was the only cleanser on my mind when my doctor told me this news. I had tried it once before and remembered feeling really pampered when I used it and my skin felt wonderful. I honestly really thought I could get by with other cleansers, but clearly that is not the case. I had to change everything to non-fragranced products and back to basics with everything. Of course this cleanser is on sale again so it was a better deal than the CeraVe Cleanser (Which is wonderful as well) The main reason I went with this particular cleanser is because I use everything else from Paula's Choice, why stop with cleanser?

Love, Love, & Love. Did I mention that I LOVE this product yet??? Since I use a prescription Retin-A, I purchased this to apply around my delicate eye area and my lips. This stuff is awesome! It doesn't irritate my eye area and I found that I look less tired and my lips are looking really smooth and full. It absorbs so nicely that it doesn't interfere with other products that you apply over it. I always keep a back up in my cabinet. I can't run out of this stuff. This has earned "HG" status for me.

I purchased this for myself and I really liked it, so I had my son try it and I never got it back. LOL! I have combination skin that leans toward dry and this was perfect for me. I know fragrance isn't cleansing but it sure helps to make you feel refreshed. This is not "HG" for me. I had to run out and buy Olay Regenerist Cleanser as it is more adult like and I don't have to worry about anyone borrowing it and not returning it. LOL!

Powder -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral powder

I was so excited to try this product because I was so tired of spending a lot of money on Department store make up. The first day I applied it it looked flawless. I thought I found my new HG! 3 days later I started getting pimples. By the time I was done with my work week, I had several pimples. I was so disappointed.

Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash

First of all...I have asian lashes which basically means I have nothing to work with. I also have trouble with many mascaras leaving me with slight racoon eyes after a long day. I am one of those that wears make up but look so natural people are shocked that I wear any at all! So this mascarra defines my lashes without making me look ridiculous. I like that it defines every lash and the curl stays until I take my make up remover to remove it. I do use the waterproof version. I am not partial to regular mascara because of the smudging factor and when I am at work I do not have the luxury of touching up anything. I hope they never stop making this. I also hope they don't replace this with the new One by One because that smudges on me after a long day as well.

Powder -Clinique - Perfectly Real Compact Powder Foundation

Let me start off with my skin type. Dry/Combo, acne prone, sensitive. I am also allergic to Chemical SS. It has been so humis and hot this month that my skin would burn and itch everytime I would prespire with my usual HG Clinique Almost Powder Make Up. I went to the Clinique counter and the SA recommended the Perfectly real Foundation, but I asked her to please color match me to the Compact version. I hate liquid foundations. I got the perfect color match and I am so happy because when I prespire I don't get that burning sensation or the itchiness. The SA also mentioned that some Mineral Make up do have irritating ingredients and although in general they are pretty great,,some people can have adverse reactions to it, especially during persperation. I am sold. Clinique make up has always made my skin look natural and flawless. I always get stopped and asked what I do to get flawless skin. I know Clinique is not the price of drugstore products, but this stuff lasts me 6 months. $24.00 every 6 months really isn't that bad.

My HG! I have purchased at least 5 tubes of this. I really llike this because it is so light and it really helps keep acne at bay. I no longer get those pesky monthly breakouts anymore. This definately has earned its ranks in my facial care routine.

I just received mine......Um I was excited until I applied it to the back of my hand and the perfumey smell started vaporizing its way to my nostrils. I don't even have a desire to apply it to my face. The bottle is pretty.......Hmmmmm.....thats about the extent of it.

Lips -Chapstick - (All Flavors)

My Derm gave me a list of things to stock up on before starting Accutane Treatment and Chapstick (Black) was one item on my list. I thought to myself, "I am never going to use this!" Boy was I wrong! This became a staple in my life. I ended up buying the large pack of 4 and I kept one in each pocket and purse. This was my saving grace during those horrific month's on Accutane. I have since continued to buy this little black tube and still have one in every pocket and purse. I don't need it as much as I used to, but when I do this is the one I reach for. Can't go worng with Chapstick.

I agree with the last reviewer! I really loved the scent but that was it. I have very long hair and I was always told never to comb your hair wet and this system goes against all that! My hair became so frizzy and completely unhealthy! I tried for a few month's but it was so expensive! Especially for my long hair, I had to use so many pumps of this stuff. Plus, It did not make my hair or scalp feel very clean at all! By the way, this system is harder work as well. Completely time consuming and a huge waste of time. It took me several month's to recover from this system. So sad.......I do not recommend this.

I ran out of my usual facial cleanser and my son had this laying around so I grabbed it and started to wash my face! My eyes literally started tearing right up! My face hurt so bad! OMG! I tried to wash it off as soon as I could. I was so shocked becasue the bottle says Redness Relief, you would think this would be soothing and the green tube made me feel like this was safe to use. My son never complained about it but teenagers seem to be more resilient I guess. Although my son just told me he prefers the Gel Cleanser from this particular line. He said the Gel Cleanser doesn't burn the skin and it does relieve his redness.

I read the reviews below and I must be a minority here......This crap stinks! Who wants ro rub perfume on their face? Honestly? There is no pleasant scent here. As far as make up removal....I wear a light powder foundation and I can barely see any on the wipe. The packaging is pretty and that is about it. I will be throwing this in the garbage and resume removing my make up with my facial cleanser.

This is highly recommended on Beautipedia website. I am using it for the high rating and the amount of anitoxidants and skin identical properties. I am loving the shimmer (I can only see it in sunlight). The fragrance is "EH?" It is growing on me though. It actually took me almost using the entire bottle to really see benefits, but I have. Not in the firming way, but in a glowing way. I just went to my annual skin check with my Derm and he commented on how beautiful my skin is. He said it was flawless. I was a little stunned when he said it, of all things I would have never expected a doctor to ever say that to me. Needless to say, this is a definate repurchase. It did take some getting used to, but I can't see myself using anything else. So, as slowly as I got used to this product it has established itself as a "Holy Grail" product.

Cleansers -Sebamed - Liquid Face and Body Wash

I saw this at Costco and had to try it. At first I thought this was great, but after a couple of days I just couldn't take the smell! UGH! I use J & J Head to Toe. I ended up giving this to my son and he loved it! I must say that as soon as my son ran out of this product, I did not repurchase. We found him something else and I no longer have to smell that again. You could say the smell is herbal, but slightly wintergreen like? EDIT: I know, I know! It freakin' smells like Simple Green. UGH!

I have been searching for a good body lotion for quite some time now and got caught up reading reviews on beautypedia.com I was on the hunt for another lotion brand when I spotted this and remembered reading a review on how wonderful this product is. Since it has been such a struggle to find the other lotion that I decided I would grab this and I am so happy I did! I really like this particular scent! It is so fresh. I get compliments on this everyday and I don't have to bother with those expensive perfumes. I am also able to continue to use my sensitive skin cleanser. This is a perfect compliment, plus this Body Lotion is not hard to find. Wal-Mart has it and it is fairly inexpensive for what it does. It contains a great amount of antioxidants, plus exfoliates dead skin cells! Update: I still love this Lotion, but find it works best on my feet with socks to keep my feet soft. I no longer use this as a body lotion. EDIT: I only currently use this on my hands and feet for exfoliation purposes. Can't use it all over, way too sticky.
