Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express Colossal Cat Eyes

This mascara CLUMMMPPPPED like none other!! It made it look like I had three, fat, sticky lashes, which was totally not attractive. The packaging, to me, looked tacky, the brush always seemed to have WAY too much product on it, and the formula was just as sticky as bubble gum. It. Was. Disgusting. Not worth the money at all. Plus, the product flaked and smeared all day long, peppering my face with tiny black clumps of crumbly mascara. When I applied it to my lower lashes as well, it smeared and gave me panda-eyes.
This color is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful like OMG. It's a beautiful bronze-gold shimmer, (looks more gold than bronze), and I love it. Sometimes I use a little on my cheeks too, (just a tad), to make my face glow with healthiness and all that jazz. It's so versatile. A little on my lids, on my cheeks, and dusting on my collar bone, arms and legs, and BAM I radiate, baby! Ready to go out for the night! Whoooooo partayyy!! But anyways, I wore this at New Years, and it was drop-dead gorgeous. UD eyeshadows are KNOWN for their blend ability, butteriness, and gorgeous velvety pigmentation. This is a straight-up radiant, beautiful color that can be very seductive, or very fun!
Oh. My. Goshness. This is the prettiest shadow I've ever seen EVER! The color reminds me VERY VERY much of NARS Orgasm, and so I can use it both as a blush and an eyeshadow for a much cheaper price than the original. The UD eyeshadows are known for being very buttery, soft, and velvety to the touch. They blend well and are easy to apply, easy to mix, and easy to blend, and come in a range of GORGEOUSLY OUTRAGEOUS shades. This is a color that will work well for any skin tone, and works great for brightening up the eye. Def my fave shade out of all of the other shadows, simply because of the beautiful peachy-pink shimmer color. It's truly unique.
I purchased a Ultra-Shine Lip Gloss in #25 Reflex Hot Coral. It's very pigmented, like SUPER pigmented, and has some shimmer to it. I would describe the color as a peachy-coral, maybe melon-ish shine, with very fine gold glitter that really pops. It reminds me of NARS Orgasm lip gloss (by color). Plus, you get a lot of product, and the packaging is very classy-looking and simple. To me, it doesn't smell or taste anything special, but it's not terrible either. Some people say it has a cherry or currant scent, but it smells scentless to me! It has no tingle either, another trait I love, so I can't really compare it to Buxom. But, it does look beautiful on, lasts a decent amount of time, and isn't super-sticky or overly slick and slimy. So... I give it props. With a generous color selection, it has shades for everyone! It's a truly gorgeous product. It may become a staple!
I've heard beauty bloggers, gurus, and Youtubers RAVE about this product. I've heard my friends say "go and try it!", and I actually believed all the hype over this lipstick that was supposed to be the perfect nude. WELL THEY WERE WRONG, PEOPLE. Wroooong. This settled into all the little creases on my lips, and looked, generally, nearly white. It looked chalky, caky, and dry, but was a very creamy formula. It made my lips flake as well, which is hella not attractive, and smelled like old-lady lipstick (chemicals, musty fragrance, you get the picture.) It's over-hyped, not because of the formula, but because of the TERRIBLE color that looked so lovely in the tube. In the lipstick bullet, it looks like a rosy, beautiful brown. On the lips, it looks tacky white, like I chugged a bottle of glue or ate frosting. Nasty.
Lip Gloss -C.O. Bigelow - Mentha Lip Tint in Pink Mint

This is a lip gloss I have a dodgy relationship with. On top of a balm, it looks and feels amazing; Alone, it makes my lips flake and feels really sticky. It's a sheer tint, and the pink is bright and fresh on the lips, and the soft, pretty shine makes them look healthy and totes gorg. I believe there ARE some better glosses out there for the money, though, so I'm not quite sure if I will repurchase. But, it is something I always keep in my bag for the extra "oomph".
I love the packaging, it looks very ornate and expensive, like a high-end brand. People who are looking for a contour shade, I guess this could work a little, but sometimes little specks of gold glitter show up on my skin from the bronzer, and it looks super weird and tacky. It's my first Milani product, and I'm not too impressed.
I really like this concealer, maybe I've finally found the holy grail! It's creamy, non-caky, and you only need a little to look flawless. The lady at the counter said it's not "recommended" for blemishes because it's not oil-free, but I use it on my blemishes anyway and haven't experienced any problems! The first time I purchased this, though, I got a color two shades too dark for me, so I had to return it and purchase another color. Color selection is not the best for light skin tones, but I love it all the same.
BB Cream -Dr. Jart+ - Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 PA+++

This is a super-creamy, natural product, that is WORTH EVERY PENNY. It's packaging is so nice, very expensive-looking, and I positively adore the pump! You only need a small amount, and it blends flawlessly into your skin, not sitting awkwardly on top like some face products do. It smells nice and feels refreshing, like a crisp, cool morning. I have no complaints about this product, and it seems to live up to the claims. This is probably the best BB Cream from Dr. Jart+
This was a generally caky concealer. I wouldn't say it's plainly "horrible", because it provides quite nice coverage and matched my skin perfectly, but it caked up so much it looked "obvious", especially under my eyes. The packaging is chic and slim, perfect for travel, but on a person with oily-combo skin, I was surprised at how thick it looked on my skin. No, it didn't break me out, and yes, it kept me matte, but it was very thick and noticeably on my under-eyes, nose, and smile lines around my eyes. It didn't crease on me though, but it did look very "powdery" on the skin, and was one of the most driest concealer sticks I've ever used. I believe you can get a way better deal for the amount of money this costed...heck, even the Maybelline "Fit Me" concealer might beat this! Check out brands like Sonia Kashuk (I love their concealer palette), or Revlon (they have an AMAZING stick concealer), and if you're looking for a higher-end brand I recommend Benefit's "Boi-ing", Bobbi Brown's "Creamy Concealer Kit", Make-Up Forever "Full-Cover Concealer", or Amazing Cosmetics famous "Amazing Concealer". Thanks!
I LOVE THESE AND I HAVE OVER 20 OF THEM. They are very very moisturizing, smell amazing, have cute packaging, and are a general joy. I've used over 5 tubes of the stuff!! My favorite flavor is definitely the chocolate mint one..I adore the slight tingle. Plus, these are very natural, so I'm not worried about ingesting the product at all. I reccommend these for everyone and anyone, because they have been so amazing for me. The first one I purchased was the Vanilla Mousse, and I was APPALLED by the wonderful, cake-icing scent, and was surprised at how I could build it up so it looked glossy. These are so amazing I can hardly describe it!
Lips -Hard Candy - World Balmination Glossy Tinted Lip Balm
Sunkissed101 12/21/2012 10:49:00 PM
I'm ashamed, but I bought this mostly because of the cute packaging! When I tried it on for the first time, I really, really loved it. It made my lips look and feel very luscious and moist, with just a hint of color. But after I reapplied it after a little bit, I realized how truly disgusting a formula it is. It's greasy, slick, and doesn't stay on your lips to save its life. It came off even after about five minutes!! So not worth it.
I bought this in "Jazzy Red", which was, indeed, very very red. It smelled very chemically and was heavily perfumed, and wouldn't stay put no matter if I used a liner or a primer. It only costed about 99 cents at the time, so I'm happy I didn't waste much money, but I was very disappointed because the previous reviews were excellent. In the trash it went, good riddance.
Bronzers -Smashbox - Bronze Lights - Sunkissed Matte
Sunkissed101 12/20/2012 10:49:00 PM
I completely adored this bronzer when I first purchased it. It provided a very natural, soft look, and had an extremely buttery feel. After I've had it for a few months, it began to change. On my pale, winter complexion, it had begun to oxidize and turn quite orange after just an hour of wear. Then, after a while, I could barely get any pigment from it at all. The packaging was very simple, just a screw-off cap, and you got quite a bit of product, but this was a miss for me.
This was the worst mascara I've ever tried. It's clumpy, wet, and comes out in sticky chunks that never look right on the lashes. The packaging is fine, but the brush is a little too wispy for my liking, and the smell is ATROCIOUS. It literally smells like someone urinated in the bottle, only worse. Even though I wore it on my eyes, I could smell it all day, and the mascara flaked like crazy.
