Lip Gloss -Rimmel - Stay Glossy - all
Peaches1027 9/25/2012 2:18:00 PM
I really like these glosses. They are super shiny and moisturizing without being too slick, they don't migrate and pool, and they fade without getting sticky and leaving a ring in the inner corners of my lips. The price is also great, $4.99 where I live. I took off one lippie because the pigmentation isn't that good. These do look nice worn over lipstick, but I prefer to wear them alone. I will repurchase, and who knows, Rimmel may upgrade the pigmentation one day.

Eyes -Milani - Shadow Eyez - ALL
Peaches1027 8/4/2012 3:55:00 PM
I have these shadow sticks in three colors, Champagne Toast, Brown Deluxe, and Royal Purple. They are all fantastic. I bought them to replace my Estee Lauder shadow sticks, which dried out and fell out of the tube. These are so much cheaper and better quality. I use them with primer, but if your lids are not oily, you don't need it. They stick to the skin like paint. I use this as shadow and liner, and sometimes I apply them from the pencil and something a dab a brush on the pencil and apply that way. These are very pigmented and creamy, so the brush application method works well if you have a tendency to overdo it. The Champagne Toast works well to highlight the inner corner of the eyes, and I use the Brown Deluxe as a blending color. I can't say enough about how good this product is. I paid apiece $6.79 at CVS.

Blush -Milani - Baked Blush - Berry Amore 03
Peaches1027 8/4/2012 3:52:00 PM
This is the quality I expect from the Milani Baked Blushes, with the same clunky gold packaging that no one seems to like except Milani. I do not care for this color. I looks flat and pulls dirty orange on my skin, kind of like MAC Garb blush. The only way I can pull this off is to use it to contour when I wear the Baked Blush in Luminoso. The two work very well together, better than Luminoso and bronzer. I will continue to use Berry Amore in this way, but I will not repurchase it. This probably looks better on fairer skin.

Blush -New York Color - chelsea coral
Peaches1027 8/4/2012 3:47:00 PM
I bought this on impulse during a midnight run to Rite Aid for something else, and I'm so glad I picked it up. I'd never heard of NYC before, and now I know this is LE. It's a beautiful orange coral with a slight shimmer that is very flattering to the skin, and I think it would work for any skin tone. If you find it, pick one up. My only complaint is the packaging doesn't close anymore, and I've only had it a few months.

Liquid -Maybelline - Fit Me Foundation
Peaches1027 8/4/2012 3:45:00 PM
I did not care for this foundation. I had a hard time finding a color match. I lean neutral, and the shades are too yellow for me. While this product applies evenly and gives a beautiful finish, it doesn't last long, and I became oily and the foundation smeared away. Not a good look, and not a good product.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Bold Gold / eternal gold
Peaches1027 7/25/2012 9:22:00 PM
This is my most recent Color Tattoo purchase. This is an antique gold color with lots of shimmer that is easy to apply with a brush, and it works best when applied in thin layers until you get the look you want. I wear this alone on workdays, and it brightens my eyes and is very complementary to my dark hair and my skin. (I have medium olive skin, but I don't know my MAC shade. Sorry.) This lasts all day without primer, but I've noticed this summer that it fades in the 90 degree weather. My other Color Tattoo shades wear perfectly in the heat, and I'm not sure what the issue is with Bold Gold, but I did not take a lippie off. Outstanding drugstore product.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Audacious Asphalt
Peaches1027 7/25/2012 9:16:00 PM
I own four of these shadows, and Audacious Asphalt is one of my favorites. It's a medium silver gray with shimmer, and it complements my medium olive skin and dark eyes and hair very well. I prefer to wear this alone, applied in two or three thin layers with a brush, and then I use UD 24/7 liner in Bourbon on my lower lash line and lots of black mascara. It's a striking look and one of my favorite ways to wear eyeshadow. I never wear primer with this because it isn't needed. This won't budge all day, even in 90 degree weather. This is one of the best drugstore products of all time, and I hope Maybelline adds more colors to the line.

Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20
Peaches1027 7/25/2012 9:10:00 PM
This tinted moisturizer comes in a squeeze tube that is very sanitary and makes it easy to dispense the right amount. I apply it to my fingers, rub them together, and then apply it to my face. I purchased this in Sand, which perfectly matches my slightly tanned olive skin. I will have to purchase a different color for the winter, but I have already repurchased in Sand because I went through the smaller tube so quickly. This product works very well for me and I just love it. It gives light coverage, but it diffuses imperfections and eliminates the need for concealer. I use it under my eyes as well, and it doesn't crease. I don't need undereye concealer with my heavier foundations such as ELDW, and when I want concealer with my LM TM, I use Hard Candy Glamoflauge in Medium. This product has a weird plastic smell, but honestly, I just noticed it the other day after wearing this for a couple of months. I haven't checked the ingredient list, but something in this gives me very soft, smooth feeling skin, which is a nice bonus. I will purchase this again.

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Stain Balm - Crush
Peaches1027 7/25/2012 9:01:00 PM
The color of this stain is a blue-based burgundy berry, not the plummy color I was hoping for. I did not like this shade against my medium olive skin, but I am not rating the color, just the formula. I gave this one lippie because the color goes on very shiny, dries down to a matte, and lasts and lasts, just like a stain should. However, this settled into my lips and accentuated every line, making my lips look bloody. I used this for a week and tried it with clear balm underneath, with clear balm on top, and I tried moisturizing and exfoliating my lips. Nothing helped. I still got that awful lips seeping blood look. I love how long lasting this is, but I'm afraid to try it in a different color, so I exchanged it for a lip butter.

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero
Peaches1027 7/12/2012 9:58:00 PM
I understand the mixed reviews on this product. I use this liner in between my upper lashes, and if I use it on my lower lash line or water line I apply primer first. I love this liner for those two applications. I don't recommend this for use without primer. There are way better liners out there, but for what I use it for it's fine, and I love the deep color and soft texture. I use several UD 24/7 liners, but I'm not sure if I'll repurchase Zero.

Tinted Moisturizer -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Enhancer SPF 20
Peaches1027 5/11/2012 11:05:00 PM
This is expensive for a drugstore product, but definitely cheaper than the other tinted moisturizers I was considering. I purchased this in light-neutral, and the match is pretty good. Not perfect, but acceptable. This product is thin and somewhat watery, but it blends nicely and layers easily. I really need two to three layers to even out my skin, but even so, I get a nice finish that doesn't look heavy at all, even after setting with powder. I gave this three stars for all of the above reasons. I will not repurchase it, however, because this makes my skin so oily after a few hours that I look greasy and tired, and somewhat orange as well. I paid about $14.00 for this, and I will not repurchase. I do recommend trying it if you have dry or normal skin.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Tough as Taupe
Peaches1027 4/27/2012 10:28:00 PM
This is my second purchase in this line. I purchased Bad to the Bronze first, which is a shimmery taupe. This color is not taupe at all, but is actually a cool toned matte gray. I love the color. It's very flattering on my dark brown eyes and medium olive skin. I apply it very lightly on the lid, and sometimes I use it as lower lid liner. I've tried applying a second coat in the outer V and crease to shadow my eyes for a monochromatic look, but I find that it cakes when applied too heavily, so I have to be careful. Because this is matte and not shimmery, it wears best with primer underneath. I haven't had a chance to play with this using other shadows in my collection, but I know this neutral will work with just about anything. This is a great drugstore product, and I will definitely repurchase.

Blush -Cover Girl - Classic Color 'Rose Silk'
Peaches1027 4/27/2012 10:21:00 PM
I was looking for a satin or matte pink blush, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I decided to give this a try. So glad I did. The color is a satin, light-medium rose pink shade that flatters my medium olive skin without giving me a "flushed" look, and it lasts all day. I think I paid about $8.00 for this at Rite-Aid. I don't like the awkward packaging or the perfumey smell, but for a drugstore product that performs this well, all is forgiven. Definitely recommended.

Blush -Milani - Baked Blush in Dolce Pink
Peaches1027 4/21/2012 9:41:00 PM
This is my second blush in the baked collection. The first one I bought was Red Vino because I wanted a true red blush. I bought this one because I wanted a pink blush with some warmth to it for the summer. Unfortunately, this color doesn't work for me. I have medium olive skin, and I have to apply three layers of this blush to get it to show up. The color is too light or it's not pigmented enough for me. Having to apply so much productr makes me look way to shimmery, and as the blush fades all you can see is glittery shimmers spots all over my face. I don't care for it at all. I didn't want to taint the reviews because I bought a bad color match, so I still rated this highly and put that I would buy it again. I recommend this for lighter, cool-toned skin. While I won't repurchase Dolce Pink, I will definitely try another shade.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Bad to the Bronze / on and on bronze
Peaches1027 4/21/2012 9:34:00 PM
This has to be one of the best drugstore products of all time. I deposit the shadow on the back of my hand and apply it with a brush to my lids. I apply a sheer layer on the inner corner, and then a thicker layer on the lid, and a second layer on the outer corner and crease. This gives me the look of wearing more than one color, sort of, and shades my eyes nicely without having to apply other shades. It's very quick and easy. This formula does not budge on me at all, even though I have allergies and I've been moisturizing my face with Aquafor lately. I have slept for short periods in this eyeshadow, and upon waking it still looked freshly applied. As for the color, I would not call it bronze. For reference, on me this looks exactly like CoverGirl Tapestry Taupe and WnW Nutty. The shimmer is not over the top, and it builds easily and does not cake. I can't find any cons with this product. I just purchased another shade in this line, and I can't wait to try it out. I definitely recommend this. ($6.99 at drugstores.)
