Lip Gloss -Bare Escentuals - Buxom Lips Lip Gloss in Amber
FoXyKiTten01 12/23/2009 10:44:00 AM
This is my first Buxom lip lipgloss. Unfortunately I'm not really ecstatic about it. The color is just so-so. It's very sheer on my fairly pigmented lips and NC30-35 skin tone. It goes on a strange cool toned almost slight gray cast sometimes. In the tube it's a gorgeous peachy pink color with gold shimmer particles. It is smooth to apply and does not feel gritty. It does have a nice cooling sensation, which I like. I don't think it really makes my lips any fuller though. The amount of product is quite generous for about $20 incld. tax. So overall, it's not bad and I think I will re-purchace this line of gloss, just not this color.

Blush -Korres - Zea Mayes blush-44 Orange
FoXyKiTten01 12/20/2009 8:12:00 PM
Got this off the Korres site. The color shows is a HUGE mis-representation. On the site it looks like a pale orange sherbet color, irl it's more of a coral/orange color. Very pretty in the pan. It's very similar to Orange Brown blush..only this is a smidge more orange (and no you don't look like an oompa loompa with this on). This is a very bright color, so do use a light hand as this is very pigmented. It is easy to apply and blend. It looks fantastic on my MAC NC30-35/Korres WRF3 skin tone. Very pretty!

Blush -Korres - Zea Mayes Powder Blush-47 Orange Brown
FoXyKiTten01 12/20/2009 8:07:00 PM
I really love the Korres line! I now have all the blushers and each and every one of them is FANTASTIC! Orange brown is an interesting shade. When swatched on my hand it's a metallic-y bronze-y orange with a flash of pink color. Once applied, don't worry, it's not metallic-y or OTT sparkly/shimmery. But it just gives a nice glow of color..an orange-y red shade. While it is orange-y it's not oompa loompa orange so don't worry! I love this on my MAC NC30-35/ Korres WRF3 skintone. The blush is super easy to apply/blend and very well pigmented.

Mascara -Korres - Provitamin B5 & Rice Bran Mascara
FoXyKiTten01 12/17/2009 2:19:00 PM
I got this as a GWP in my last order..so I had no idea what to expect. I was actually quite pleasantly surprised! It doesn't really thicken, but it does give nice definition and is a my lashes but better type mascara. A lot of mascaras tend to rub off on my lower lid no thanks to my small squinty eyes..but this has not flaked or rubbed off yet! I also have no clumping issues with this and my lashes are nicely separated and defined. I am very pleased with this product. My perfect everyday mascara!

Eye Shadow -NARS - Brousse Duo
FoXyKiTten01 12/17/2009 8:59:00 AM
Never in a million years did I think I would like this, much less get this. When it first came out it totally didn't catch my interest. I thought it would look like I either got punched or I rubbed dirt all over my eyes. But then I was at sephora one day swatching the NARS stuff and gave brousse a try. (Originally I had been lemming-ing Brumes.) After swatching brousse I just LOVED it and had to have it. Brumes was too cool toned on me, but Brousse was perfect. The one side is a nice dark shimmery gray brown/taupe (or at least that's how it shows up on my yellow NC30-35 ). The other is a lovely deep, dark, shimmering purple. I love that it's not a in your face purple, but a very nice smokey purple. I love this duo!!

Eye Shadow -Korres - Shimmering Eyeshadow-22s Orange
FoXyKiTten01 12/17/2009 8:43:00 AM
Ok, so I got this sight unseen. I was a little worried it would be some crazy orange (the color of the fruit) color. But Korres has never steered me wrong. I have never met a Korres product I hated. Anyhow so i ripped into the package as soon as I got my order and was a little taken aback by the almost cantaloupe colored eyeshadow. But once applied on my yellow NC30-35 skintone/Korres WRF3 it's just absolutely stunning. It is a shimmering sheer-ish sunset gold, slightly peachy gold kind of color. The quality is lovely, smooth and easy to apply. It is a little on the medium/sheer side, but I like that kind of e/s.

Eye Shadow -Korres - Shimmering Eye Shadow in Sheer Gold
FoXyKiTten01 12/17/2009 8:37:00 AM
This is e/s no. 24 Gold. I am very happy with this! I got this full size e/s in a gwp on the Korres site (they always have some awesome deal). Anyhow, I am a self professed Korres fanatic! I love all their products! This e/s is no exception. It is a nice subtle yet gives my eyes a little sparkle kind of color. It reminds me slightly of MAC vanilla pigment, only less frosty and not as white. It's more of a pale pale gold color with slight shimmer, nothing OTT. This is my new perfect everyday wash on my yellow MAC nc30-35/Korres WRF3 skin tone that I can wear alone with liner + mascara. Overall the quality is lovely, smooth and easy to apply with great color pay off.

Blush -Korres - Zea Mayes Powder Blush- 32 Purple Brown
FoXyKiTten01 12/17/2009 8:32:00 AM
I now have all the Korres blushers! This is the one blush I thought I might not like, but I figured I'd give it a try b/c I'm OCD and wanted "the set". :P Anyhow, turns out, I really do like this color. It's very pigmented and I need only a little to give a nice flush. It reminds me of NARS sin (but not as dirty looking on me as sin was), lovejoy ( but not as rosey/dark and no shimmer), and a smidgen of Dolce vita (Korres has more brown and isn't as rosey). Korres purple brown is an interesting mix of pink, plum and brown on my yellow NC30-35 (Korres WRF3) skin tone I think this looks lovely when I wear it with purples on my eyes.

Palettes -NARS - 9951 Pleasures of Paris Palette
FoXyKiTten01 12/15/2009 12:52:00 PM
After months of lusting after this, I caved and ordered this. To be honest, I'm kinda on the fence about this on my yellow MAC NC30-35 skintone. In some lighting, the colors look very dull and bruised, but in other lighting, it looks fantastic. While I feel a little ambivalent about this product (I think it's due to sticker shock...$55 usd), I cannot give it a low rating because the quality of all the shadows are superb. This palette comes with: (top) nepal, violetta, demon lover. (bottom) fez, abyssinia, cordura. Out of all these colors nepal is my least favorite. It is way too pink/rosey on me. Made me look ill. Ick. Fez on the other hand is my fave out of the entire set. It's the most gorgeous color ever! A nice medium bronze-y slightly metallic shade with not too much red and not too much purple. Cordura and demon lover are perfect to smoke out the look or line. Abyssinia is a nice shimmering sheer neutral highlight. Violetta is an interesting color..a gray-ed purple shade. It's matte but not in the least chalky. It's very nice combined with demon lover. Overall this palette is very nice and can be used for a subtle daytime look all the way to a more smokey night time look. Very versatile and handy!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Dazzleglass DO IT UP
FoXyKiTten01 12/13/2009 5:57:00 PM
I got this as a bac2mac. It's such a pretty vibrant color. I find it to be smooth and not gritty like the dazzleglasses. The color is a beautiful fuchsia-rose color that looks fantastic on my NC30-35 skintone and fairly pigmented lips. This is quite pigmented and shows up nicely on me. Overall I'm very pleased!

Styling Products -Bumble & Bumble - Styling Creme
FoXyKiTten01 12/7/2009 2:30:00 PM
I got this in an adorable travel set along with the creme de coco shampoo, conditioner and styling cream. However, all the products fell short and needless to say I returned it. This had to be the worst out of the entire set. I used it exactly as directed, and yet my hair medium bra strap length hair ended up a sticky, tangled, dull mess. Ick! However, it did make my hair lay nice once I did manage to get my hair all de-tangled..but that's about it. Totally a crap product. Horrible horrible horrible.

I used it exactly as directed, and yet my hair medium bra strap length hair ended up a sticky, tangled, dull mess. Ick! However, as other reviews mentioned, using it after hair was dry prior to straightening worked nicely..but that's about it. But for the price of a full size, I would not get this. Totally not worth the stress and effort.

Conditioner -Bumble & Bumble - Creme de Coco conditioner
FoXyKiTten01 12/7/2009 2:24:00 PM
Ugh! After lusting after this for a month, I got this in an adorable travel set along with the creme de coco shampoo, styling spray and styling cream. Needless to say I returned it. The shampoo wasn't anything great and this condition was worse. It smelled nice (warm tropical coconut) and that's about where my positives for this product ends. It left my medium bra strap length hair dry and tangled...ugh. Save your money as this was crap. My cheap-o aussie brand moist conditioner is 100x better than this and at a fraction of the price.

Shampoo -Bumble & Bumble - Creme de Coco
FoXyKiTten01 12/7/2009 2:22:00 PM
Ugh! After lusting after this for a month, I got this in an adorable travel set along with the creme de coco conditioner, styling spray and styling cream. Needless to say I returned it. The shampoo, while it did smell delish...a soft slightly floral tropical coconutty scent...it fell short on my high hopes. It suds up great on my medium thickness bra strap length hair, however that's about it..It didn't do anything for my hair except leaving it feeling a little dry in the shower. Also the price for this is insane to justify such a small bottle..I really expected more.

Eye Shadow -NARS - Soft Touch Shadow Pencil in Goddess
FoXyKiTten01 12/7/2009 1:57:00 PM
I got this because I'm in love with neutrals. Especially those soft shimmery neutrals. This is a beautiful neutral champagne/pink (very reminiscent of Stila kitten minus shimmer overload) on my NC30-35 skin tone. Fortunately I don't look like I have pink eye or anything even though there are pink tones to this. I am really liking this to swipe over my lid (lashline to crease) then to line my entire eye with this and I feel it totally opens up my small eyes!! It is a little bulky to do any waterline lining and you can't do a thin line along the lower lash line, which is the only blah part, but I suppose it's an eyeshadow pencil, so I cant fault it for this. It has good staying/non creasing power when used over TFSI or UDPP and it is slightly tacky so it can be used under eyeshadow as well. Unfortunately for the incredibly steep price, $24 usd for a approx 3.5" long product, but overall this isn't a horrible product, the packaging is lovely..It's exactly the same as the velvet lip matte pencils..which do last forever..so I'm expecting the same of these. UPDATE*** I love using this along my tear duct and lining my lower lash line..perfect for that awake bigger eye look
