Makeup Brushes -Smashbox - Fan Brush #22

I love this brush, and it being 18 bucks, makes me use it for more than just taking excess powder away. I love this for applying a bit of bronzer, very pigmented blush (so that it doesnt come out too crazy) and for higlighting my cheeks it's the best. Great brush.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #187 Duo Fiber Face Brush (Stippling, Skunk Brush)

people make a biiig deal for this for liquid foundation. i like it for powder products more. when using crea/liqud, it can get streaky, especially around the nose area where it gets harder to blend out. but it's AMAZING for blush, it applies sheer so it's easy to build and makes it look so fresh. good blush brush and for overall setting powder

Blush -MAC - Blushcreme - Cherche

I love this color for contouring and if im feeling dark, i sometimes use it as an e/s base. for contouring it's great cuz you dont need a lot and since i'm not super pale (im nw30), it looks very natural. if you blend properly, it should not look dirty or blotchy whatsoever.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Filament (lustre; GoLightly)

probably the only mac e/s i have that i really dislike. chunky glittery chalky texture. lots of fall-out, and i can only apply it to the tear duct area cuz that's where it looks most decent. i dont recommend this

I love this scent. It's unisex which adds to the greatness, because I hate overly flowery, fruity, sweet scents. After you air it out and the alcohol evaporates, you smell some sort of spice, but if you havent applied too much it's a subtle smell. therefore, I recommend that you dont go crazy with the spraying. I bet you can visit basenotes.net to get more precise recommendations, but overall, it's a great smell.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Electric Eel

Definitely my favorite funky eyeshadow from MAC. Super bright and true-to-color. If you apply this over blended 24/7 Urban Decay eye pencil (the one that looks exactly like EE...) your eyes will pop 150% more. Great for teens.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Beauty Marked
lauralikes 1/1/2009 3:40:00 PM
The color is very beautiful, and it does show up on my nw30 skin tone. The thing is that you need to know that a little goes a veryyy long way. Also, when depotting this type of shadow (this shimmery veluxe shadow) it breaks SUPER easily. This color is very dark, almost black, but the shimmer really does have a great effect on a look, so dont just assume you can substitute it with a black shadow if you're making a very picky-colored look. What I do not like about this eyeshadow is that the shimmer dissapears somehow by the end of the day. I dont even know if that makes sense, but it does! I recommend you use this color just for like a movie date of 3 hours, or else you should reapply. I love the color though

Eye Shadow -MAC - Burnt Burgundy pigment
lauralikes 1/1/2009 3:35:00 PM
This pigment is beautiful, practical, and... amazing. It is matte so it doesnt throw annoying shimmer all around your face. It is veryyyy easy to blend and "move around" the eye. It fades very nicely and kind of changes color as the application gets lighter (physically). What I mean is, when you pack on the pigment, the color looks exactly like in the jar, this dark purpley-red color, but as it fades and gets less-packed, you can dfinitely see the burgundy and the dark purple is way less noticable, making your eye-look seem to have 2 different shadows when it's actually just one. A lot of these reviews complain about the fallout and how you'll get burgundy marks on your face...but this has never happened to me. I recommend you guy TAP the brush after you dip in and always have a kabuki in hand just to swipe off any tiny bit of fallout around the eye area (and I mean tiny). I LOVE THIS COLOR.
