Greatest "wine stained" lipstick ever! ENOUGH SAID.Probably one of my fave lipsticks.
i lvoe this color. i really love all dark lip colors. the thing about reds or dark colors is that you need a perfect canvas, so dont expect to pull it off if your lips arent prepared. especially since this color is a satin, you have to try a little harder to get that perfect lip since it can come out blotchy. the color is GORGEOUS
I use this to contour (im nw30) and it's perfect for a very natural contour color. it looks like reaaal shading! i love it!!!!!! im buying strada as soong as i run out of blushbaby (just to try for fun), but for now, i am very satisfied.
I LOVE CARMEX (FOR COLD SORES). this is my HG lip balm forever and ever. LOOOVE
I love this pigment, but it isnt too blendable. It's of course super pigmented and rich in it's unique blend of colors but I use it to pack on the lid, not really for the crease cuz it's a bit hard to blend. BUT packed on the lid it looks gorgeoussssss, especially if you have a funky cream color/paint pot/shadestick/whatever to prime the lid.
Pressed Powders -Clinique - Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder

This will always be a basic powder that I keep for my less glam days. It lasts forever (mine last for like 1year) and I have repurchased for 5 years now. I love my mac studio fix powder but that's more for going out. my clinique powder is buildable (but never as buildable as SF which is fine with me for the more laid back days)
GREAT for highlighting in the eye area just not on the cheek. I feel like it "stains" the cheek so you can totally see the area where i put it (and blended) and then the area that doesnt have product, and that's like my pet peeve! haha but for the eye area...omgomgo. looks so amazing and funky! very unique pigment.
the color is nice but ughhhhhhhhhh barely shows up. gotta pack and pack and pack. not my thing. i'd rather buy the gold pigment...seems more pigmented (lol)
Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Strawberry Lip Balm
lauralikes 1/17/2009 8:19:00 PM
love the rosebud salves. I have the strawberry one and the mint rose one and keeps my lips looking nicely pink and fresh. kinda expensive but once i enter sephora it's like i lose my limits, haha (not good)
i love it, super practical and clean and all that good stuff, what bothers me is it's existance. MAC sells this because they obviously know that the ones without pump are very messy, yet the continue to do them thay way in order for us to spend 4 extra bucks... that annoys me.
HG crease eyeshadow. one of the greatest MAC shadows ever. buy buy buy
I love this blush! the texture is amazinggg and I find that dabbing my 168 in this lightly gives enough pigmentation for the cheek. I hate readinng reviews saying "i give this 3 stars because it didnt look good with my skin tone". helllo? there is a reason you try things on! The quality is amazing, the pigmentation is great, the shimmer/glitter is minor. it's a freakiing good blush.
Eye Shadow -Vincent Longo - Wet diamond eye shadow
lauralikes 1/13/2009 9:46:00 PM
wow. i am so dissapointed. I bought this on impulse (i need to stop) and regret it so much.It was suppperrr expensive and sooo not worth it. It barely has pigmentation, all it has is glitter. I dont even know what to do with this, I used it for a highlight on the cheeks, people asked me why I put GLITTER on my face...
I really couldnt believe the rating... this was 9 bucks and works amazingly! It neeeever clumps. It adds a nice amount of mascara. It lengthens and makes you look awake in an instant. This is def my relaxing-day mascara. Will repurchase till I die ;)
I bought this to try it cuz I was bored of my eyeshadow primers (even though you have great primers, you wanna try somethign new, ya know?) so I bought this. a) It primes well the eye but it does add and opaque color so dont exepct it to be invisible. It is like a mac paint. b) The product does dry out but that's if you dont use it frequently AND if it does dry, you can always 'undry' it by putting the container is a glass of hot water or just swirl your finger in the product to warm it up. c) It doesnt last too long and eventually, you can tell it's creasing BUT to do a job for a couple of hours, it works fine. I give it a 3 because for a couple of bucks more, you can get a primer that's wayyy more amazing, but this product isnt all that bad.
