The colours in this palette are gorgeous, unfortunately, no one will be able to tell when you put them on. The two darkest colours offer the slightest difference when on the lips, but even then, I doubt it's substantial enough to be worth what you pay. They are very moisturizing and offer long staying power but two of the shades in my set had an odd vinyl scent that I can't quite get over. Great packaging though and comes with its own lip brush.
This has to my favourite gloss that doesn't come with an applicator! The colour is a sheer, lightly shimmery pink and smells of lemonade. I love that it come with a mirror and a compact that stays shut even when rattling around in my bag. It stays put almost all day and when it disappears, I don't feel the urge to reapply because my lips are still moisturized. It's not super glossy so the look is more causal. If only I didn't have to apply it on the fly with my finger.
I'm a big fan of minis and so wasn't too tough of a sale when it was introduced to me. And it was such a steal. Definitely a summer scent and good balance of floral/sweet in the store. I should have walked around with it a little longer before buying because after a couple of hours, it developed a plastic-y scent on top of everything else. I've gone to wearing it on my clothing. Still love the bottle though.

As always, benefit wins me over with their cute packaging. Georgia is lovely light shade that works better when I have no tan. I'm normally quite pale with a little bit of ruddiness and this helps even things out. The brush works well and storing in the box makes life a little easier as it quite small. Don't be afraid to use a heavier hand with this one.

great formula that gives really nice lashes. the bent brush makes application a little easier to nudge the lashes upwards and encourage a little more curl - but the formula is super thick and you have to watch out for the product that accumulates at the tip. It does tend to smudge as I get to the end of the day, especially on warmer days. It's not bad but I have a feeling I might be able to find something similar at a lower price point.

this will probably be my new everyday staple. It goes on well, defines my lashes and doesn't clump. The formula is a little on the thin side but the brush is great. There's no flaking throughout the day and it comes off very easily in the shower.
Lotions/ Creams -Nuxe - Huile Prodigieuse (Multipurpose dry oil)

I've been using this as an evening moisturizer and it works really well! it absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy feeling on the skin. I've used other oils that I still feel the next morning when I wake up. I still don't know how I feel about the scent but that goes away pretty quick - not a problem. The tiniest bit goes a while so I've still got a good amount left. I'll be sure to try foreversummer's oil/braid tip.
sounds like it would cooling, soothing and moisturizing right? I don't know what it is in this product but it completely dries my skin out. And not the sort of slightly uncomfortable dryness when I use the wrong kind of cleanser for my combo skin but tight and flaky. I suppose if you had very oily skin you would be okay but this is unexpectedly strong for a "cool moisture" formula. off my product radar for good.
Lipstick -Clinique - Moisture Sheer Lipstick in Sweet Violet

ok, so across the board MLBB. has spf which is something I always go for but it doesn't have the best staying power and kind of dries out slowly. good initial texture and nice packaging - I'd slip a gloss on top to make go a little longer. not the best i've tried but i'd buy it again for the colour.
Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15
silver_aria 2/11/2009 4:24:00 PM
Great product that stays on all day - but it goes really fast and I don't think I could afford this as my main lip balm. Has a nice scent and texture and spf 15 which is a great plus. Lovely packaging but you do pay for it.
This wound up being very similar to Vixen by Revlon. I'm a little disappointed that the pearlescent shimmer doesn't come through more, but it has a little more depth than Vixen. A nice go-with-almost-anything shade that's a little less done than black polish and a little more work friendly.
great stuff. I can now factor almost all of the drying time out of my manicure when I need to move on and do other stuff.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Comfort On Call [DISCONTINUED]

It's super-thick and you can definitely feel it when you put it on but it works wonders. It's probably a little too heavy duty to use as a regular moisturizer but a little bit in the evening on dry, flaky, red, irritated skin works like a liquid bandage - the next morning the skin is markedly improved. It's a little expensive and the packaging is a little too "doctor's office" - as with many clique products - but it will last a long time and I am so glad to have finally found something for eczemic skin that doesn't contain cortisone. I only wish that it came in a squeeze tube so I wouldn't have to use a q-tip everytime I use it. absolutely recommended!
Primer/ Corrector -BeneFit Cosmetics - Dr Feelgood

it's not the most amazing product I've ever tried but it does what it promises. My skin is much smoother after and I don't get as shiny throughout the day. Works best on normal/oily skin; if your skin is dry, you just end up making the dry patches more obvious (I find the smashbox primer to work better on dry skin). During the winter when I am a little more dry, I am more liberal with my moisturizer before I put this on. It has comes in a cute tin but I would appreciate a smaller container as this stuff lasts forever and I feel like it gets a little more contaminated each time I use it
