I've been an avid Neutrogena person all my life, but I only went out to buy this after seeing ratings on MUA. I was upset that it doesn't have any acne medication (salicylic acid/benzoyl peroxide), but it's been doing an okay job of keeping my face clean. Doesn't leave my skin dry, but doesn't do any miracles of any kind; no pore shrinkage or acne vanishing going on. However, a feature that irks the HECK out of me is that IT SPILLS SO EASILY. all over the place if it's not clicked into place all the way closed. So it goes without saying that I've lost more than a little bit of product from carelessness. I've never had that happen to me while using the Neutrogena scrub, but besides that, I think it's a very meh product all around. It's great to have to make sure that I'm not over-exfoliating from only using the Neutrogena scrubs, but a little disappointed for a 4 star rating.
Scrubs -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash pink grapefruit foaming scrub

I've used two bottles of this scrub (along with quite a few Neutrogena scrubs); it's not great, but it's not bad either. It has won a few Allure awards, which is nice, but I've come to discover that there's a huge disparity between beauty editors and the MUA community. It doesn't break me out, dry my skin, or significantly clear up my acne. I do like that it foams compared to the Redness Soothing Scrub. For the price (it's expensive compared to other drugstore brands), it's an okay face wash.

I've been using this (and other Neutrogena scrubs) for a while now, and the reason why I kept it is because of the AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) & 2% salicylic acid in the scrub that allows for faster skin cell turn over. However, it may make your skin more sensitive to the sunlight & prevents the scrub from leaving your face squeaky clean. (Whether or not you like your face that clean is up to you) I haven't noticed a dramatic difference w. my acne since using this face wash, but for the price, I would buy it back.
Treatments -Biore - Ultra Deep Cleansing pore strips

This is the best rated pore strip on MUA, which I really don't understand. The Biore pore strips at best are inconsistent. Sometimes they work, and other times it's a complete fail, which is half the time. For almost $1 a piece, I would expect way better performance than 50%. I think it's time to move onto the CVS ones and see. Even if they perform just as bad as Biore, it would be great since it's so much cheaper
Treatments -Clearasil - Rapid Action Treatment Cream

I've been using this for a really long time, and I thought that it would be the best thing out there esp. since it's pretty pricey compared to Clean & Clear/Neutrogena, but it's not that great. I slather it on at least once a day after washing my face, and it still breaks out sometimes. There's no cloying scent, and the product goes on well, it's just a little disappointing. Can't wait to finish up the last tube I'll ever buy & move onto a new product.
Hair -Got 2 Be - Rockin' It Encore Fresh Dry Shampoo

I've used a couple dry shampoos and this is by far one of the most memorably bad ones. The fragrance is really strong--it's not unpleasant, but everyone leaves the bathroom when I spray it, so take what you want from that comment. I wear glasses, and when you use it with your glasses on, it leaves a very visible residue on your glasses--a thick, grainy powder. Eck. I definitely will not buy again. Ever.
